Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

Meow!

A golden ahoge appeared from behind Wanda, swaying back and forth over her shoulder. Then a tiny head popped out beneath that golden ahoge.

”A cat?”

Seeing that creature appear, Pietro, who had just taken two fearful steps back, immediately froze.

”I worked so hard this time. Is there fish to eat? Is there? Is there? Don’t tell me there still isn’t any.”

Under Pietro’s gaze, the cat jumped onto a book and floated in front of Orion Cross, loudly complaining.

”Don’t worry. I’ve already left that seal. From now on, you can eat as much fish as you want.”

Orion Cross rubbed Yuumi’s head and spoke.

Back inside Odin’s sealed space, Orion Cross had summoned Yuumi once before and also tried using the book beneath her feet, the Book of Thresholds, to leave the seal.

But clearly, it had failed. The Book of Thresholds could not be used inside the seal.

After discovering that Orion Cross’s world had no fish, Yuumi had very decisively canceled the summoning and returned to Runeterra.

This kind of contract summoning was rather like the Summoning Jutsu from Naruto.

”Really? I’m so hungry right now. I want fish right now!”

Yuumi floated onto Orion Cross’s shoulder and looked at him pitifully with her big eyes.

”Fine. Protect them properly, and I’ll go catch fish for you.”

Orion Cross glanced at the somewhat dim magic orb above the ahoge on Yuumi’s head and smiled helplessly.

In order to heal Wanda, who had fallen unconscious after a large amount of magic was extracted from her, Yuumi had consumed quite a bit. Her own mana had already bottomed out, and she urgently needed food to replenish it.

As for why Wanda had been drained of a large amount of magic?

Rubbing the magic lamp to summon Zephrys only required second-tier mana. For Wanda, whose power had not yet been catalyzed and awakened by the Mind Stone, it was actually not too great a burden.

The key issue was that her wish had been to summon Galakrond.

And Orion Cross’s transformation into Galakrond was different from his transformation into the War Aspect. It was not unconditional and without cost.

Orion Cross himself had no mana and could not transform, while on the other side, he had been forcibly summoned.

So the result was that the summoner had to bear all the mana consumption.

[Avatar — Father of Dragons, Galakrond]

Effect: Consume seventh-tier mana and randomly transform into one of Galakrond’s five forms.

Duration: Until voluntarily canceled.

Cooldown: 1 second.

What did seventh-tier mana mean?

According to official Marvel data, the Scarlet Witch’s ability of ”energy projection” was classified as the highest level, seventh-tier, ”capable of nearly limitless release of various forms of energy.”

Of course, seventh-tier was not the absolute limit. It was merely that anything stronger could no longer be measured purely by levels.

But that was the ”Scarlet Witch,” not Wanda Maximoff, who was still only a little girl right now.

This was also why just one summoning had caused her to fall unconscious.

If not for Magical Cat Yuumi’s healing ability, there was a very real chance she might never have woken up.

”Right, take this. Those Hydra bastards might send people to search for the missing ones at any time. If you run into trouble that Yuumi can’t handle, use this to contact me.”

Before leaving, Orion Cross suddenly thought of something. Pinching his fingers together, a black scale appeared in his hand.

Then Orion Cross walked to the side and picked up a damaged firearm.

A holy light appeared in his hand, and the damaged submachine gun transformed into a silver-white revolver.

”This is...”

Pietro took the scale and revolver. Then a piece of knowledge was instantly poured into his mind. After returning to his senses, he nodded. ”I understand.”

Every transformation ability would grant Orion Cross a permanent normal-state ability after it was used for the first time.

For example, after transforming into the War Aspect, what Orion Cross had obtained was the title and will of The Unbreakable Spear.

After transforming into Galakrond, the normal-state ability Orion Cross obtained was the Invocation Ritual.

Orion Cross could pass the knowledge of the Invocation Ritual to anyone. That person could then pray to Galakrond, thereby obtaining a certain degree of authority and increasing Orion Cross’s strength the next time he transformed.

It was just that invocation came with a cost. For example, right now, Pietro did not have the slightest bit of mana, and Orion Cross also did not have the slightest bit of mana, so this Invocation Ritual was merely a pager with no signal restriction.

As for the silver revolver, that was the normal-state ability Orion Cross had obtained after first transforming into High Noon, Gun Modification.

Gun Modification allowed Orion Cross to turn any firearm he touched into a Holy Gun or Demonic Gun with six bullets, and it could be used by others.

When Orion Cross himself used them, the Holy Gun and Demonic Gun had no bullet limit.

”I’m leaving.”

After explaining everything, a ray of starlight fell from the sky and struck Orion Cross.

After transforming into the War Aspect, Orion Cross leaped up into the sky, rose to a great height, and used Grand Starfall to land above the nearest sea.

”I never thought I’d actually use the star-piercing spear to fish.”

On the ocean surface a thousand miles away, Orion Cross stabbed a tuna with one spear thrust and casually tossed it into his system space.

”As expected, I can’t keep using a spear as my weapon in the future.”

”The saying that spearmen have Luck E has existed since ancient times for a reason.”

”Since ancient times, spearmen have possessed eight dou of luck, Zhao Yun alone claimed one full shi, and the rest ended up owing two dou.”

After transforming into a fishing master, Orion Cross’s resentment gradually increased. Once he caught enough fish, he returned to the shore, stepped down, and shot into the sky once more.

On the other side, Pietro was hiding behind a tree. One hand held the scale, while the other gripped the trigger of the Holy Gun tightly as he nervously watched the squad of soldiers appearing in the distance.

Boom!

Like a comet striking the moon, a streak of starlight descended from the sky and plowed a nearly hundred-meter-long trench into the ground.

The Hydra soldiers, who had originally been advancing cautiously while searching for the missing personnel, were directly struck by the massive impact like bowling pins. Every last one of them was sent flying, and not a single one remained standing.
