Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

Thud.

Orion Cross took a human head out of the system space and tossed it onto the ground.

”Oh, a little bloody.”

As an agent, Nick Fury naturally was not frightened. He was simply somewhat curious about where Orion Cross had taken it from.

”So this is the head of Helios, the Sun God?”

Carol crouched down with a slight frown and looked at it. The head had already nearly decayed, making it look almost no different from that of an ordinary person.

”With the fall of Olympus, this thing lost its divinity long ago. At most, it can still be used once. Want to try it?”

Orion Cross picked up the Head of the Sun God and looked at Nick Fury and Carol.

”If possible, let us truly see it for ourselves.”

Nick Fury recalled the memories he had seen earlier. The power of this Sun God’s head seemed to be nothing more than releasing strong light, no different from a flashbang, so he nodded.

”Fine. Watch yourselves.”

Orion Cross kicked the Head of the Sun God. The head, which had decayed until it looked like the withered skull of a mortal, suddenly trembled, and dazzling light burst from its dim eyes.

”So hot!”

Nick Fury had just put on sunglasses and was about to step forward for a closer look when he suddenly felt pain in his hand.

In only an instant, his arm had actually been burned.

”Meow!”

Just as Nick Fury was about to retreat, the Flerken in his arms rubbed its eyes with its paws, seeming to have been stung by the intense light. It let out a cry, leaped toward the ground, and then...

Swallowed the Sun God’s head in one bite.

”Uh...”

The scene became extremely awkward for a moment.

”Sorry. That was my mistake.”

Nick Fury stepped forward and carefully picked up the Flerken, which was licking its paws. After standing up, he apologized to Orion Cross.

”It’s fine. I already said this thing could only be used once. After using it, it was just non-recyclable trash anyway.”

Orion Cross was slightly stunned. After returning to his senses, he waved his hand.

When the Flerken swallowed the Sun God’s head, the mission had somehow been miraculously completed, leaving Orion Cross feeling rather baffled.

Then he turned back and read the mission description again.

[Flerken Series Mission: Still hasn’t transformed, but it’s already repaying a favor: Put any major body part into the Flerken’s mouth.]

Any major body part. It never said it had to be a major body part from Orion Cross’s own body.

Orion Cross could not help cursing inwardly. Why had this mission system started playing word games like that idiot genie Zephrys?

As for the mission reward...

[Completed Flerken Series Mission. Reward obtained: Contract Card — Yuumi, the Magical Cat.]

As expected...

Orion Cross sank into thought. If the mission content and the mission reward had a certain connection, then what would Nick Fury’s be?

Thinking of this, Orion Cross took out the final souvenir he had kept in the system space.

”This is...”

Seeing the greatsword that suddenly appeared in Orion Cross’s hand, Nick Fury and Carol’s pupils both contracted.

It looked very familiar. Wasn’t this the divine sword that had pierced the hearts of Zeus and Gaia in the images just now?

”The former Olympian Sword. Now, it’s just an iron sword without even a sharpened edge.”

Orion Cross tossed the Olympian Sword onto the ground as if he were throwing away garbage.

Seeing this scene, Hela could not help feeling countless emotions well up in her heart.

If Asgard were to be destroyed one day, would its former glory also be trampled on casually like Olympus next door?

Moreover, as Asgard’s first in line to succession, once Odin passed away, her power would be bound to Asgard.

That would be the peak of her strength. But what if Asgard was destroyed?

That image had already appeared before Hela’s eyes.

”Help me with something, and this sword is yours.”

Orion Cross looked at Nick Fury, whose eyes had gone fixed, and chuckled as he spoke.

No matter how brilliant the Olympian Sword’s past achievements had been, it was now nothing but scrap.

Whether it was the forging materials, the divine power once attached to it, or Pandora’s power of hope, all of it had already completely dissipated, turning it into a thoroughly ordinary object.

Of course, if Nick Fury found scientists from S.H.I.E.L.D. to examine it carefully, they could still find a trace of its past on it.

But it would only be a trace.

Those traces could only prove that the Olympian Sword had once been a divine artifact. They had no other use.

Clearly, however, Nick Fury did not know that right now. Or rather, he did know, but he still chose to gamble on the faint possibility.

”What do you need me to do?”

Nick Fury withdrew his gaze and asked.

”Help me find someone.”

”That mage?”

Nick Fury remembered the person who had fought alongside Orion Cross in the memories and nodded. ”No problem. But where should I look for her?”

”New York, London, and Hong Kong. Or somewhere near the Himalayas.”

Orion Cross shook his head slightly and said, ”But whether you’ll actually have a chance to contact her is another matter.”

Although the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj were not as closed off as Hogwarts next door, they would not easily display their power in the mundane world, nor would they casually come into contact with ordinary people.
