Chapter 394: Chapter 246: Paldea Is My Home, But I Will Never Forget Galar

It’s here!

Calyrex’s expression was excited: ”That fellow is my beloved steed... Glastrier?! That dazzling white coat! That wild galloping figure! It’s exactly as it was when I first saw it. Ah~ So familiar, so nostalgic!”

Glastrier approached from afar, its gaze firmly locked on the icy carrots scattered on the ground, and let out an excited whinny from its mouth.

”Ice... neigh!” (Something delicious!)

Glastrier was extremely excited, with so many icy carrots, it could finally have a feast!

However, at that moment, Glastrier, galloping with all its might, suddenly felt something strange.

It raised its head and saw three figures lying in wait in a secluded corner.

When it recognized one of them, fear immediately appeared on its face.

It quickly stopped, its strong and sturdy forelegs lifted high from the snow, letting out a frightened whinny, as it abandoned the icy carrots in the field and attempted to flee.

Seeing this, Calyrex frowned, ”This is not good, Glastrier was defeated by me once before, and it will not willingly approach anything threatening!”

Upon hearing this, Naoki nodded and then shouted: ”Koraidon!”

”Ah ga!” (I’m here!)

Koraidon understood and immediately leapt up from the snow.

It jumped high into the air, eyes locked on Glastrier below, while changing its form and charging towards it with all its might.

”Boom!”

With a loud roar, Koraidon collided fiercely with Glastrier, and a terrifying explosion of energy occurred.

The high temperatures caused by the energy melted the nearby snow, and a large amount of white steam rose into the air.

Calyrex looked at this scene in shock: ”Such... such a powerful Pokemon! I’ve never seen anything like it before! Is it the ruler of that land?”

Naoki: ”...No, the Paldea region doesn’t have a king anymore; it’s now ruled by the Pokemon League. It’s complicated with Koraidon, I’ll explain it to you later.”

Because right now, they had more important matters to attend to.

Hit by the heavy blow, Glastrier let out a painful whinny, stood up, and looked angrily at Koraidon opposite.

Its forelegs kept pawing at the snow, and two streams of white cold air spewed from its nostrils.

Koraidon tilted its head at the sight of Glastrier.

”Ah ga?” (What do you want?)

Naoki and Calyrex had already rushed forward, ”Watch out for its Ice Type moves!”

As his voice fell, a terrifying cold air suddenly released from Glastrier’s hooves.

The snow under its feet instantly froze into ice, and Glastrier stomped on the ice, charging fiercely towards Koraidon.

The ice spread quickly over the snow, reaching Koraidon’s feet in the blink of an eye.

Faced with such a brutal and aggressive Glastrier, Koraidon showed no fear, instead becoming more excited.

”Ah ga!” (Bring it on!)

It roared, and a burst of fiery flames shot out from its robust, crimson body, charging straight at Glastrier.

Ice and fire collided in the air, producing a large amount of steam.

The ice created by Glastrier melted instantly from the high temperatures, revealing the hard earth below.

In the thick fog, the two Pokemon collided once more.

A powerful energy storm swept outwards the moment they met.

Naoki quickly shielded his eyes with his arm.

When the dust settled, he saw Glastrier already lying on the ground.

While Koraidon stood arrogantly in front of it, looking down at the opponent.

Calyrex looked at this scene in disbelief.

Its... its beloved steed was defeated just like that by that Pokemon?

However, Glastrier seemed not to have lost its ability to fight.

It awkwardly stood up from the snow, realizing that the enemy in front of it was not something it could defeat, so it turned and tried to run.

But Koraidon was quick to act, leaping up and landing accurately onto Glastrier’s back.

The heavy weight instantly made Glastrier unable to stand up straight, its running speed greatly reduced, letting out a series of woeful whinnies.

”Ah ga neigh!” (Behave!)

Koraidon smacked its head with a paw.

Glastrier felt aggrieved, but now being ridden could only reluctantly follow Koraidon’s wishes, carrying it laboriously to Calyrex and Naoki.

Calyrex looked dazed, too shocked to utter a single word.

This, this, this!

Koraidon jumped off Glastrier, accidentally hitting it with the large tail during the process.

Glastrier snorted in displeasure but quickly lowered its once proud head when it saw Koraidon.

Hold it in, don’t laugh!

Naoki tried hard not to laugh as he went forward, skillfully took out a cup of Berry Milk from his backpack to give Koraidon.

Koraidon happily accepted, gulping it down eagerly.

”Ah ga neigh~” (Delicious~)

At this time, Calyrex finally came to his senses.

”I... I am truly shocked! Glastrier is a very proud and arrogant Pokemon, and it would never submit unless faced with overwhelming power!”
