Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Chapter 987: Chapter 0987: Jumping the Queue

Qin Yu stifled a laugh and put on a very confused expression, asking, “The first two are already so impressive, so the third must be even more incredible. Who is it?”

“Far in the horizon, yet close in front of your eyes.”

“I get it! It’s Brother Erniu! How could I be so stupid? It’s so obvious, yet I couldn’t see it!” Qin Yu feigned an astonished expression.

Li Erniu laughed heartily, treating Qin Yu like his little brother. Under Li Erniu’s guidance, Qin Yu toured the entire beverage factory. After the tour, Qin Yu kept shaking his head.

His impression of the beverage factory was one of laxness, all around.

The workers were all doing their jobs in slow motion, looking listless and dispirited.

Moreover, the machinery had all sorts of issues. In just two hours, production had stopped three times!

With such efficiency, it was no wonder the storeroom was still piling up with a large backlog of inventory, which was telling of the sales situation.

After strolling around, it was about eleven o’clock.

Normally, they should knock off at eleven-thirty, but the employees of the beverage factory had started trickling out from the workshop, heading to the canteen.

Qin Yu shook his head slightly, thinking about the lack of organization, discipline, the low work efficiency, and the poor sales – no wonder the beverage factory was continuously losing money!

As for this, Li Erniu wasn’t surprised at all; “Xiao Qin, let’s go have lunch.”

“Mmm.”

Qin Yu nodded. He was grateful for his decision. If he hadn’t gotten involved on the front line and had only relied on the intelligence passed on by the intelligence agencies, he surely would not have understood the situation in such detail.

In the prior reports, the beverage factory was a tumor that had to be cut out!

However, after an onsite inspection, Qin Yu felt that with some adjustments in management and operations and a good market expansion, the beverage factory still had potential.

Under Li Erniu’s lead, Qin Yu arrived at the canteen.

Although the beverage factory’s performance was not great, it had its benefits still – lunch was provided.

Seeing Li Erniu coming, many veteran employees greeted him, showing that Li Erniu was a well-known figure in the beverage factory.

In Qin Yu’s mind, Li Erniu would surely cut in line, but Li Erniu surprisingly did not and queued up obediently, which took Qin Yu by surprise and made him regard Li Erniu in a higher light.

The queue slowly moved forward, and seeing that there were only four people left in front of him, Qin Yu’s mood gradually improved—it wouldn’t be long until he could eat.

Just then, a skinny middle-aged man suddenly passed by him, heading straight to the front of the line and cutting in!

Qin Yu was very displeased by the scene and subconsciously wanted to argue with the middle-aged man, but Li Erniu firmly grabbed Qin Yu’s arm and shook his head subtly at him.

Qin Yu, puzzled, asked, “Brother Erniu, what’s going on?”

“That’s Wang Pixi. Don’t provoke him.”

Wang Pixi? The warehouse manager? Qin Yu narrowed his eyes, committing Wang Pixi’s face to memory.

A cancer like this must be eradicated!

Wang Pixi, as usual, cut in line, not even bothering to see whom he was cutting in front of.

In his mind, in the beverage factory, nobody dared to mess with him!

What Wang Pixi did not expect was someone suddenly pushing him from behind, followed by an old voice, “You little rascal, who let you cut in line?”

Wang Pixi turned around abruptly and saw a familiar face!

It was him?

Wang Pixi inwardly regretted, wondering why he hadn’t been more careful, why had he cut this old man’s line?
