Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Chapter 984: Chapter 0984: Carefulness

At Su Ziyan’s command, Wang Rui led Qin Yu to the security office. Wang Rui was very interested in Qin Yu and didn’t know what the exact relationship between Qin Yu and Su Ziyan was.

Initially, Wang Rui thought Qin Yu was Su Ziyan’s trusted aide, but Su Ziyan had actually assigned Qin Yu to be a security guard? This made Wang Rui a bit confused.

“Mr. Qin, I see that you are quite familiar with President Su. Why do you want to start at the grassroots level as a security guard? Wouldn’t it be better to be an assistant to President Su or something?”

“Secretary Wang, you’ve got it wrong. I’m not that familiar with President Su. Actually, I’m the husband of President Su’s second uncle’s third aunt’s second great-aunt. So, I’m already satisfied that President Su is willing to give me a meal to eat!”

“Uh…” Although Qin Yu spoke lightly, Wang Rui did not dare to underestimate him.

A woman’s intuition is terrifying, and Wang Rui could see the understanding between Su Ziyan and Qin Yu. This wasn’t something developed overnight.

Moreover, if Qin Yu really wasn’t close to Su Ziyan, why would Su Ziyan bring him to attend a board meeting?

This meant that President Su highly valued Qin Yu!

Thinking about it this way made Wang Rui pay even more attention to Qin Yu.

The security department was on the third floor, and the two of them took the elevator to the third floor and walked to the security office.

The security manager was Yang Guang, the brother of Yang Qian, a shareholder. Banking on his brother’s status, Yang Guang threw his weight around at Su Group. Except for a few major shareholders, he didn’t give face to anyone.

Wang Rui raised her hand and knocked on the office door. An impatient voice came from inside, “Who is it? I’m busy here!”

“Manager Yang, I’m Wang Rui. President Su has arranged a new employee for your security department!”

President Su? Hearing this name, Yang Guang immediately stood up. In Su Group, anyone with the surname Su was not someone to mess with!

“Wait a moment. I’ll be done soon.”

Click, the office door opened, and a burly middle-aged man walked out. The man was dressed fairly well, exuding the air of a nouveau riche. He had a thick gold chain hanging around his neck and a large gold ring on his finger.

He grinned, revealing a gold tooth!

“Little Rui, you’re becoming prettier by the day. Please come in, come in.” Yang Guang’s eyes, flirtatious like peach blossoms, kept sizing up Wang Rui, but what a pity—this girl belonged to Director Su. Otherwise…

Qin Yu and Wang Rui entered the office together and saw a nervous-looking girl there.

Yang Guang chuckled awkwardly, “Ahem… Xiaomin was just reporting her work to me. Xiaomin, you’ve done very well. I will definitely report it honestly and make sure you get a bonus.”

“Thank you, Manager Yang.” The girl quickly fled.

“Manager Yang, this is Mr. Qin Yu. He will now be part of your security team. Please take good care of him.”

“Secretary Wang, which President Su did you just mention?” Yang Guang scratched his head, a bit unclear about the situation.

“It’s Miss Su, our Director Su’s daughter. Now Miss Su is the Executive President of Su Group, and the announcement will come out soon.”

“Miss Su? Don’t worry, Secretary Wang, I’ll take good care of him.”

Yang Guang drew out his tone. If it was Miss Su, then things just got interesting.

It was said that Director Su and his daughter were not on good terms. It seems that the care Secretary Wang spoke of wasn’t actual care!

“Alright, I have other matters, so I’ll leave first. Mr. Qin is now in your hands, Manager Yang.”

“Take care, Secretary Wang.”

After Wang Rui left, Yang Guang arrogantly tilted his chin up and said indifferently, “Here at Su Clan Group, we’re not an ordinary company. We have many rules. Take a look at the regulations first!”
