Chapter 1492: Chapter 22: Blitzkrieg (5)_2

A few hundred meters away at Height 131, another Judger will appear at Height 152 amidst chaos and circle along the valley into the depths. There, it is the supply line for several peaks in this area!

Moreover, there’s Height 136 to the southeast, Height 167 to the north, and the small slope beside the main peak of 201.......

Reinhardt’s five squads, like five blades, dismantle the Sunset Mountain Defense Line as if they were carving a cow. The attack routes and locations are interconnected, affecting the entire body with one move. It is imaginable that when Sunset Mountain encounters the attack of the Judgers, the entire defense line will be in a state of overwhelming chaos.

When they are eager to replenish the destroyed supplies, when they are urgent to deploy officers to replace the command levels of the frontline troops that have been wiped out, when they are busy reconnecting the severed supply lines, when they are anxious to rob Peter to pay Paul with their firepower allocation, the steel torrent of the Su Jie Alliance Army, led by another 150 Judgers, will completely overwhelm them.

From a strategic height, let this strategic force lead the overall situation! This is the real usage of the Judgers!

In front of the electronic sandbox, Reinhardt is a master of this tactic!

Just standing next to him, Langman feels a sense of the big picture in hand. The unease caused by the previous unfavorable war situation disappears without a trace because of the increasing confidence.

With a partner like Reinhardt and an ace like Judger, Langman does not believe that the defending troops of Sunset Mountain can hold out till the morning sunlight climbs over the mountain peaks.

”Understood?” Reinhardt asked. As he spoke, he put down the electronic push rod in his hand without looking at the several Judger officers beside him and slowly put on his black gloves with drooping eyelids.

”Understood!” The officers replied sternly with the decisiveness of soldiers and the respect of subordinates, yet mixed with a kind of distant stiffness.

Reinhardt nodded expressionlessly and waved his hand.

Five squad leaders stood at attention, saluted, and walked towards the units that had already assembled in formation. As they left, their gazes briefly met the two company commanders beside the electronic sandbox and then indifferently moved away. The two company commanders stood by like stones, expressionless.

Watching the five squad leaders climb onto their respective mechas, leading their teams away from the base into the night, Langman checked the time. The hour hand already pointed to five o’clock, with a full hour left until the overall attack at six.

For the defending troops of Sunset Mountain, this will be an hour filled with agony, but for him, it meant finally being able to relax a bit and enjoy a cup of coffee.

”General Reinhardt,” Langman eagerly invited, ”I have a can of cherished Bella Star Triangular Coffee Beans. At this time, having a cup of coffee to refresh ourselves should be a good idea.”

Reinhardt nodded with a smile, walking with Langman towards the command center.

As they stepped onto the escalator leading to the command center, he turned to look west. The teetering Sunset Mountain wasn’t his target for coming here. Compared to opening up Sunset Mountain and assisting Bellif in winning this battle, he was more eager to receive news of that person after a cup of coffee that was so aromatic it quelled any urge for slaughter.

That fat man was his lifelong enemy. No matter how rich the aroma of the coffee, it couldn’t mask the hatred spreading in his heart.

Walking beside Suss Admiral Langman, whose face was slick and full of self-satisfaction and excitement, seemed oblivious to everything. Looking at this face, recalling the news just received from Rosenberg a few minutes ago, a cold stream-like arc curled at Reinhardt’s mouth.

If it weren’t for fearing it would affect morale and sealing the news, it’s unknown whether this General Langman would still feel so composed upon knowing about the total annihilation of the One-eyed Python Auben and the Dragon Rider Fleet.

The man and his bandit army, should have arrived at Leifeng Star by now. Enemies on a narrow road! Does he know that I’m here waiting for him!

Reinhardt and Langman’s figures disappeared into the automatic doors of the temporary command center. Under the dim barracks street lamps, the two expressionless Judger company commanders exchanged a glance, snorted dismissively, and turned away from the electronic sandbox.

Fourth Company Commander Fritz Walter and Sixth Company Commander Carl Mai both hailed from Sobel’s most elite Night Army.

Like all Night Army officers, they came from noble families, the purest imperial supremacists. The education they received from a young age and their development in the military filled them with the pride of the Night Army and scorn for a Gazalin who defected to the Empire like a dog and now climbed above them giving orders.

Outstanding military talents, modified to 85 standard actions per second in mech control, can’t cover up this Gazalin’s vile conduct of launching a coup against his father and pushing his subordinates as scapegoats at critical moments. Proud Binart soldiers will follow orders meticulously but will never respect him.

The most detestable part is, this Gazalin clearly doesn’t understand his position.

Although he is the commander of the Second Major Division of the Judgers, the Second Division is not his Mythical Army, let alone his private army.

Originally, the tasks of the Fourth and Sixth Companies were merely to lead the armor group for a breakthrough during the general attack, just like the Fifth Company in Frenso Town. But who would have thought, that damned Gazalin would casually issue battle orders. Deploying five squads, just for a cup of coffee from Suss Admiral, insignificant in the eyes of the Binart Empire.

Although from both Reinhardt’s layout and the combat strength of the Judgers, attacking a faltering defense line or probing enemy intelligence wouldn’t be considered dangerous, Walter and Mai still felt uncomfortable.

The Judgers are the Binart Empire’s strategic force, a top-level armed power ranking above the Night Army.

This force has always appeared only at the most critical moments, in the most critical places. It is the elite of the elite, the ace of aces!

Any non-crucial operation is a waste of this armed force! Moreover, the protagonists of this battle are not the Binart people but the ambitious and foolish countries of Suss and Jiepeng. In such a battle, dispatching the Judgers so thoughtlessly is simply an insult to this force.

The two colonel company commanders walked towards their equally sullen subordinates. Due to Sobel’s orders, they had no right to resist Reinhardt’s commands. However, this didn’t mean they were willing to be bossed around by a single Gazalin. If the opportunity arose, they wouldn’t mind seeing that handsome Gazalin Admiral humiliated!

A jeep sped into the camp, dragging a long trail of braking marks, stopped in front of the two company commanders. A Suss staff officer jumped out of the car and hurried towards the command center.

”What’s going on?” Walter and Mai quickly exchanged a glance, then instinctively reached out to stop the Suss staff officer trying to run past them.

Facing the two Judger officers, the startled staff officer was completely incapable of resistance.

”Officer...” The staff officer stammered, ”Our frontline reconnaissance units have disappeared on a large scale, and the forward assault positions have also been attacked by the enemy. Armory at position six has been destroyed, positions four and seven have been attacked with heavy losses, and the 105th Armored Division Second Battalion HQ and three electronic platoons at position two have been taken down by an enemy armored company, the frontline communication is completely cut off...”

”Battlefield jamming?” Walter and Mai asked in unison, ”How many troops did the enemy deploy?”

”Not sure...” The pitiful staff officer thought of having to report this bad news to Langman, and with a face like a bitter melon, he said dejectedly, ”The front line has been controlled by the enemy, we have no way of knowing their scale or numbers. But we heard, that there’s a ’bandit’ mark on these guys’ mechas.”

Bandit army!!!

Walter and Mai stood there dumbfounded, speechless.

After a long while, when they came back to their senses, the Suss staff officer had already run into the command center.

Watching his figure, stagger and disappear into the automatic doors as if chased by an invisible hungry wolf, the two Judger officers suddenly felt a trace of pleasure amid the tense atmosphere.

The real opponent has appeared, and the strike Reinhardt executed, which made all the Su Jie soldiers cheer and shout, instead landed in the dirt, splashing filthy water that disgusted everyone.

The opponent’s actions were faster than his!

What he thought and wanted to do, others had already done!

This is a challenge!
