”Bloody Monk, what are you doing!” Zhou Haoyang roared in fury. Those being hit were all from the Zhou Family, and each slap felt like it was landing on his own face. Even though he knew Bloody Monk was extremely powerful, he couldn’t contain himself any longer.

”What am I doing?” Bloody Monk glanced coldly at Zhou Haoyang and said, ”What was that slap you just gave to Huangfu Zilong for?”

”He spoke disrespectfully, and I taught him a lesson. What’s wrong with that?” Zhou Haoyang took a deep breath, looked at Bloody Monk, and said in a deep voice, ”Don’t tell me you want revenge for Huangfu Zilong?”

Bloody Monk replied, ”Not at all. If you speak disrespectfully, you deserve a lesson. Although I’ve killed countless people, I always act with reason. Why would I seek revenge for no reason?”

”Then why did you beat up my Zhou Family people for no reason?” Zhou Haoyang said angrily.

”Who said I beat them up for no reason?” Bloody Monk pointed at the Zhou Family crowd and said, ”As you said earlier, speaking disrespectfully deserves a lesson. All those Zhou Family people spoke disrespectfully to me, so I taught them a lesson. What’s wrong with that?”

Zhou Haoyang was taken aback. None of the Zhou Family members had spoken; when did they speak disrespectfully to Bloody Monk? Bloody Monk was clearly just looking for an excuse to hit people!

”You say they spoke disrespectfully, but how come I didn’t hear them speak?” Zhou Haoyang said angrily, ”Bloody Monk, are you deliberately picking a fight?”

”You didn’t hear them speak? Then how did I hear it?” Bloody Monk said, ”They indeed spoke disrespectfully to me just now. Didn’t you hear it? Are you deaf?”

”How the hell am I the deaf one?” Zhou Haoyang said angrily, ”They never said a word. Bloody Monk, you’re just looking for trouble!”

”Hmph, whether they spoke or not, a single person doesn’t get to decide. We should ask the heroes of the world what they think!” Bloody Monk turned to look at everyone present and said, ”I wonder if anyone heard the Zhou Family people cursing me just now?”

The crowd erupted in a commotion. Everyone could see that Bloody Monk was just looking for an excuse to hit the Zhou Family, basically to avenge Huangfu Zilong. Of course, no one had heard anything. But the spectators were eager for Bloody Monk and the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance to clash first and weaken each other’s strength. In such a situation, they naturally wanted things to become as chaotic as possible. So, when they heard Bloody Monk’s words, most people called out that they had heard it, while a few who didn’t speak just smirked silently.

Zhou Haoyang was almost spitting blood in anger. He wasn’t stupid; he realized people wanted Sha Men and the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance to fight first. In this situation, there was nothing he could say to change it.

Helian Tiehua’s face was as cold as it could get. This situation left him quite frustrated. He knew Bloody Monk’s personality well. Since Huangfu Zilong had been hit, Bloody Monk would certainly not let it go. This situation was definitely not going to end peacefully. In the end, it was Zhou Haoyang, that undying old man, to blame. Why flaunt your seniority and hit the younger generation? And now look at the mess; he provoked Bloody Monk. If not for this, Sha Men and the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance would still be allies. Now, not only are they not allies, but they could become enemies. Things were becoming more and more complicated.

Even if it was just Bloody Monk, but he represents Sha Men. The Killing Gate Seven Hidden combined is equivalent to a Peak Master. White-haired Ding San now also has the prowess of a Peak Master. Plus, there’s the Wolf Monk; Sha Men’s strength cannot be underestimated. Most critically, Sha Men is backed by Shijia, as both Bloody Monk and Wolf Monk are Shijia’s juniors. Shijia is truly a matchless figure. Even though Shijia is elusive as a Divine Dragon, if someone were to attack Bloody Monk and Wolf Monk, Shijia certainly wouldn’t stand idly by. Therefore, offending Sha Men is akin to forming a vendetta with Shijia, and the situation continues to grow more troublesome.

In the end, this is all Zhou Haoyang’s fault, that undying old man, showing off and beating up Huangfu Zilong. And now look, the situation is completely out of control.

Sighing, Helian Tiehua had no choice but to personally step forward to resolve the matter. He took a step forward and said, ”Blood Robe Sect Leader, could we perhaps discuss this matter later? Everyone has come from afar. Wouldn’t you like to let everyone in for a hot cup of tea first?”

”I’m the kind of person who gets things done right away. They cursed me right here, so I will definitely discipline them right here!” Bloody Monk said, then turned to Huangfu Zilong and asked, ”Young man, don’t you agree?”

Seeing Bloody Monk consecutively strike down four people from the Zhou Family, Huangfu Zilong was utterly impressed by Bloody Monk. Upon hearing Bloody Monk’s words, he immediately nodded and said, ”Yes, that’s exactly right.”

”See that? Even the parties involved are saying this, so shall we continue!” Bloody Monk looked at the Zhou family and said, ”It was a bit chaotic just now, and I didn’t hear clearly how many people from the Zhou family cursed me. How about this, one slap per person, fair and square, how’s that?”

Zhou Haoyang was furious, and said in a deep voice, ”Bloody Monk, according to you, every person in the Zhou family must be slapped by you. Does that mean you also need to slap me to vent your anger?”

”Hey, now you’re just talking nonsense!” Bloody Monk waved his hand dismissively.

Zhou Haoyang’s expression eased slightly, as Bloody Monk did not dare to hit him, allowing him to retain some dignity.

However, Bloody Monk’s next words almost drove Zhou Haoyang to a breakdown.

”Would one slap be enough for you?” Bloody Monk looked at Zhou Haoyang and said, ”As the saying goes, ’If the upper beam is not straight, the lower beams will be crooked.’ You are now the oldest person in the Zhou family, and the way the Zhou family members behave is all due to your influence. You’ve set a bad example, so you have to be educated more. Besides, you shameless old man, with skin so thick, a slap means nothing to you. So, I’ve decided to give you several slaps to help you wake up!”

These words immediately caused a burst of laughter at the scene, with more people mocking Zhou Haoyang. Such audacity in Bloody Monk’s words, directly insulting Zhou Haoyang for being shameless, and wanting to slap him several times. In this situation, even if Zhou Haoyang was a peak master, even if he was just an ordinary person with no martial arts, he probably couldn’t tolerate this.

”Bloody Monk, you are a bold one!” Zhou Haoyang roared angrily and charged at Bloody Monk, shouting, ”Today, I want to see exactly how capable you are, daring to show off at my Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance!”

”Well come!” Facing Zhou Haoyang, Bloody Monk also shouted a battle cry, charging straight up to clash with Zhou Haoyang. Both were peak masters, and Zhou Haoyang’s own strength was also extremely strong. As they clashed, it immediately became a grand showdown.

The crowd watching quickly retreated a bit, giving space for the two to fight. Seeing the situation, Helian Tiehua realized he couldn’t stop it, and sighed helplessly. Ultimately, it was all Zhou Haoyang’s doing. It would be impossible to prevent Bloody Monk from engaging him in a battle now.

After exchanging dozens of moves, Zhou Haoyang seized a chance and shouted, ”Bloody Monk, today I must see who is the victor between us. If you lose...”

”Cut the crap!” Before Zhou Haoyang could finish, Bloody Monk shouted loudly, ”I fight only for life and death, not victory or defeat. If I’m defeated, I’ll die here. If you are defeated, you must also die here. None of this nonsense!”

These words caused a massive reaction from the crowd, was Bloody Monk’s momentum really this overpowering?

Helian Tiehua was helpless to the extreme, knowing well Bloody Monk’s character. When a real fight ensued, it truly was a battle of life and death. Back then, Bloody Monk butchered the entire Xiaolin Temple, showing just how murderous he could be. Facing Zhou Haoyang now, how could he possibly hold back?

Zhou Haoyang didn’t expect Bloody Monk to be so ruthless with his attacks. After a few moves, he had already realized that Bloody Monk’s strikes were intended to kill, aimed right at fatal points. This made him somewhat panicked inside, because he hadn’t planned to risk his life against Bloody Monk. Moreover, after exchanging a few maneuvers with Bloody Monk, he already saw that Bloody Monk’s strength was actually superior to his. If he were to truly fight to the death, it seems this time, he’d have to give up his life.

But now the fight has started, even if he doesn’t want to die, he has no choice. Bloody Monk’s strength was extremely powerful, much beyond his expectations. Additionally, Bloody Monk’s attacks were fierce and deadly, leaving Zhou Haoyang overwhelmed and struggling. Reflecting in his heart, Zhou Haoyang deeply regretted provoking Bloody Monk in the first place. Now it was serious, and hard to back down, does it really need to end in life and death?

The more Zhou Haoyang fought, the more shocked he became, while Bloody Monk became fiercer with every move. Bloody Monk’s power was already strong, and he was the kind that became braver the more he fought. After a while, his techniques became more vigorous, his fists and kicks opening wide, swamping Zhou Haoyang, who kept retreating and was completely on the back foot. From this outlook, Zhou Haoyang’s defeat was only a matter of time.

The crowd watching this situation was extremely shocked. Although they knew Bloody Monk’s strength was great, they didn’t expect it to be this strong. Zhou Haoyang had only been fighting him briefly, yet he was already at a disadvantage? Many people around were secretly calculating in their hearts, if they were Zhou Haoyang themselves, facing Bloody Monk in such a way, how long could they hold on?

But, looking at Bloody Monk’s techniques, the crowd was taken with awe. Because, after some calculation, they already realized that if they were Zhou Haoyang, they wouldn’t even fare as well as Zhou Haoyang now!
