Urban Martial Saint

”Sword Saint Sect?!” Ye Qing frowned deeply. He had heard of this sect before.

Previously, Ye Qing used the Gold Silk Armor to trick the Great Lord, causing him to seize the armor and capture Wen’er and Ye Jun. Ye Qing’s original plan was to use the Gold Silk Armor to rescue Ye Jun while luring out people from the Iga-ryu and opening the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master. However, midway, another group attacked the Great Lord, attempting to snatch the Gold Silk Armor. Ye Qing later investigated the identities of those top masters who attacked the Great Lord and only then learned about the Sword Saint Sect for the first time.

Before, Ye Qing wasn’t aware of the Sword Saint Sect’s existence. Although he had gained some understanding of it last time, the understanding was only superficial. After all, back then, Ye Qing was primarily focused on luring out people from the Iga-ryu and opening the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master, leaving no time to deal with matters concerning the Sword Saint Sect. Unexpectedly, not long after, he received news about the Sword Saint Sect again. Moreover, people from this sect had arrived at Chatiang Peak. Additionally, even major powers like the Seven Rudders of Hong Alliance and Twelve Green Halls seemed to fear the Sword Saint Sect, which was quite strange.

The Seven Rudders of Hong Alliance and Twelve Green Halls are currently the two most powerful forces in Huaxia. Even the Wanyan Family dare not confront them head-on, which shows how strong they are. But why are both the Seven Rudders of Hong Alliance and Twelve Green Halls wary of the Sword Saint Sect? Could it be that the Sword Saint Sect’s strength surpasses that of the Wanyan Family? If that is indeed the case, then the situation this time is even more troublesome.

Taking a deep breath, Ye Qing slowly calmed his emotions and said in a low voice, ”Are you saying that people from the Sword Saint Sect had a conflict with the Shen Family Manor and injured three members of the Shen Family Manor?”

”That’s right!” Black Bear nodded in response, glancing at Ye Qing, and hesitated slightly before continuing in a low voice, ”Moreover, the conflict between the Sword Saint Sect and the Shen Family Manor, speaking of it... speaking of it...”

”What is it?” Ye Qing slightly frowned and looked at Black Bear. Black Bear wasn’t usually this hesitant. Normally, he didn’t talk in such a halting way. What exactly happened?

Black Bear took a deep breath, gritted his teeth, and said, ”Speaking of it, this matter arose... arose from Shen Qingyi Miss Shen!”

”Qingyi?” Ye Qing’s expression immediately changed. Although matters concerning Shen Qingyi were already in the past, a part of Ye Qing’s heart always held a place for her. Hearing news about her naturally made Ye Qing’s heart tremble. Especially under the current circumstances, where the conflict between the Sword Saint Sect and Shen Family Manor was due to Shen Qingyi, Ye Qing was even more worried.

”What exactly happened?” Ye Qing looked at Black Bear and said, ”Black Bear, what made you become so hesitant too? Why don’t you just directly tell me what’s going on? What are you scared of?”

”Captain, Senior Shen told me not to tell you about this matter...” Black Bear awkwardly scratched his head and said in a low voice, ”But I think, even if I don’t tell you, you will eventually find out about it. So, I... I think I should still tell you!”

Upon learning that Shen Tianjun didn’t want Black Bear to tell him, Ye Qing grew even more worried. What on earth happened that made Shen Tianjun want to keep it from him? Could it be that the Sword Saint Sect’s prowess made even Shen Tianjun fearful and reluctant to inform him?

”Go ahead!” At this moment, Ye Qing became even calmer. He looked at Black Bear and said, ”Uncle Shen didn’t want you to tell me because he feared I would have a conflict with people from the Sword Saint Sect. But you should understand that in whatever one does, knowing oneself and their enemy is most important. They’re about to arrive in Shenchuan City. If I know nothing, it will be even more disadvantageous for me!”

”Yes, Captain!” Black Bear nodded, took a deep breath, and said in a deep voice, ”This matter should be spoken of from the Sword Saint Sect’s Young Master. Five people came from the Sword Saint Sect, led by that Young Master, who appeared to be in his twenties, clearly a debauched type. He initially went to Chatiang Peak to seize the things from the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master. However, both the entrance and exit of the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master were sealed, so he couldn’t get in; thus, he waited outside. While at Chatiang Peak, he somehow heard someone mention Shen Family’s Shen Qingyi was the number one beauty in the Southern Six Provinces. He then hatched a plan and specially went to Shen Family Manor for a look. As it happened, Senior Shen also took Miss Shen Qingyi there, where he saw her.”

Listening to this, Ye Qing basically understood what happened. A frivolous and restless debauchee saw a supreme beauty like Shen Qingyi and naturally immediately wanted to flirt with her, leading to a conflict with the Shen Family. Hmph, this Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect is truly arrogant. Ye Qing clenched his fists tightly. By this point, he already held great dissatisfaction towards this Young Master.

Black Bear gritted his teeth and continued, ”Upon seeing Shen Qingyi for the first time, he immediately prepared to capture her. There were a few maids from the Shen Family next to Shen Qingyi, but they were all injured by him. Fortunately, Liu Mubai was nearby, heard the commotion, and rushed over, rescuing Shen Qingyi, although he was also injured by the Young Master.”

”Liu Mubai was injured as well?” Ye Qing frowned even more tightly. Just the matter concerning Shen Qingyi was enough to make Ye Qing indignant. Now, with his brother also injured, Ye Qing’s resentment towards this Young Master deepened.

”This...” Black Bear scratched his head and said in a low voice, ”Captain, Big Brother Liu told me not to tell you about this matter. I... I let it slip...”

”He didn’t want you to tell me about this either?” Ye Qing took a deep breath. It seemed that Liu Mubai was aware of the strength of the Sword Saint Sect and didn’t want him to seek revenge. But how could Ye Qing possibly turn a blind eye to such matters? No matter what, Liu Mubai was his brother. If his brother was injured and Ye Qing didn’t stand up for him, how could he ever face him again in the future?

”Please... don’t tell him that it was me who told you...” Black Bear whispered.

”Keep going!” Ye Qing said calmly. The calmer his voice, the more furious he felt inside.

”Well...” Black Bear gathered his thoughts and said, ”Luckily, Big Brother Liu delayed the Young Master for a moment. The people from the Shen Family arrived and stopped the Young Master. Just as I told you earlier, three members of the Shen Family got injured by him. Later, it was Senior Shen who arrived and confronted him; otherwise, Miss Shen Qingyi might have been taken away by him!”

”And then?” Ye Qing looked at Black Bear and said, ”The Young Master won’t just let it go like that, will he?”

”Captain, you’re absolutely right!” Black Bear said, ”That Young Master, after being defeated by Senior Shen, was very unwilling and immediately called upon his four subordinates to confront the Shen Family. Just when it was about to break into a fight, the Seven Rudders of the Hong Alliance arrived and stopped them. But... but...”

”But what?” Ye Qing looked at Black Bear, slightly displeased, and said, ”Just say whatever you need to say, why are you being so hesitant?”

Black Bear was quite helpless and said, ”However, that Young Master told Senior Shen that unless the Shen Family marries Miss Shen Qingyi to him, he will never let it go. After the matter of the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master is settled, he will bring the Sword Saint Sect to destroy the entire Shen Family Manor!”

With a loud slap, Ye Qing slammed his palm against the table beside him, gritting his teeth, and said, ”They have quite the nerve!”

”Yes, the Young Master is really overbearing. And Captain, you don’t know, that Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect already has several wives,” Black Bear said. ”He’s asking the Shen Family to marry Miss Shen over, obviously intending to make her a concubine!”

Ye Qing clenched his fists so tightly that his nails nearly pierced his palms, yet he seemed unaware. In a deep voice, he asked, ”And then? What is the Shen Family’s stance?”

”Senior Shen definitely disagrees, but I can see that he is quite wary of the Sword Saint Sect,” Black Bear said helplessly. ”Senior Shen told me not to inform you about this, but they’re soon coming back. Captain, even if I don’t say anything, this matter definitely can’t be kept hidden! That Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect is truly arrogant.”

”Very well!” Ye Qing nodded slowly, looking at Black Bear, ”You informed me about this in advance, at least now I can prepare ahead.”

”Captain, General Helian knew I would definitely tell you about this, so he asked me to convey...” Black Bear paused, lowering his voice, ”General Helian said the Sword Saint Sect is not to be trifled with. Even if Senior Fu could break through the acme barrier, he wouldn’t dare provoke the Sword Saint Sect. So, he advised that we should avoid clashing with the Sword Saint Sect, or else no one would be able to help us!”

Ye Qing was shocked in his heart. Fu Qingping had not yet broken through the acme barrier but was confident in killing the Immortal Lord, which showed what formidable power Fu Qingping would have once he broke through the barrier. And under these circumstances, Helian Tiehua still said that Fu Qingping couldn’t afford to provoke the Sword Saint Sect; what kind of formidable strength did the Sword Saint Sect possess to make Helian Tiehua so fearful?

However, given Ye Qing’s personality, how could he heed Helian Tiehua’s warning? Back when Ye Qing had no power or resources, he dared to challenge the entire Ding Family single-handedly and defy the world if necessary. How could he now allow the Young Master of the Sword Saint Sect to bully someone he once loved, bully his brother, or bully the elders he respects?

”I understand everything you’ve said!” Ye Qing nodded slowly, pondered for a while, walked to the bookshelf, took down an ancient book, and handed it to Black Bear, ”Find a few people to help me copy a few copies of this ancient book!”
