”Hehe...” Second Master chuckled softly, looking at the man in sunglasses, and said, ”But the core issue is that what Patriarch Bodhidharma left behind is certainly not just one secret technique.”

”Ah?” The man in sunglasses was surprised and asked, ”Wha... what do you mean?”

Second Master retorted, ”Do you know what’s inside that Stone Mountain?”

The man in sunglasses said, ”Inside, it’s the place where Patriarch Bodhidharma passed away, and there’s a tomb left by the Demon Sect, used to seal the chamber where Patriarch Bodhidharma’s parinirvana occurred.”

Second Master: ”But do you know what was inside before Patriarch Bodhidharma went in?”

”There were things inside before Patriarch Bodhidharma went in?” The man in sunglasses exclaimed, his face full of astonishment, ”What was inside?”

”I don’t know exactly what was inside either.” Second Master waved his hand and said, ”But our ancestors discovered something extremely crucial in there.”

”What thing?” The man in sunglasses asked hurriedly.

Second Master took a deep breath and said in a deep voice, ”A stele!”

”A stele!?” The man in sunglasses was shocked, asking, ”What kind of stele? What could be so critical about a stele?”

”Hmph, if it were an ordinary stele, that would be one thing.” Second Master looked at the man in sunglasses and said in a deep voice, ”But that stele is definitely not ordinary. Back then, several ancestors went in there, indeed intending to destroy the place where Patriarch Bodhidharma entered parinirvana. However, one of the ancestors accidentally encountered that stele. The ancestor’s power was vast, once fighting Patriarch Bodhidharma for half a day without defeat. But after he accidentally triggered the stele, he was suppressed by it, killed on the spot, without any power to resist!”

”Ah?” The man in sunglasses slammed on the brakes, turned his head to look at Second Master, and said, ”Then... what kind of stele is it? Why... why would it have such powerful strength?”

Second Master said in a deep voice, ”Later we found out that the stele is the Immovable Bodhisattva Seal.”

”The Immovable Bodhisattva Seal?” The man in sunglasses exclaimed, ”What is this?”

”The Immovable Bodhisattva Seal is a secret technique of the Buddhist Sect, derived from the Immovable King Supreme Bodhisattva. Once deployed, its power is unmatched, capable of subduing all existence,” Second Master said. ”It is said that the Immovable King Supreme Bodhisattva once used this move to suppress an Eternal Demon. Any member of the Demon Sect who got even slightly close would surely be suppressed. The strong could keep their corpses intact, but the weak would turn to dust upon approach. It’s incredibly powerful!”

”So powerful?” The man in sunglasses wore a face of disbelief, pondered for a while, then said, ”Does something like this really exist in the world?”

”Hmph, what Bodhisattva, it’s just a legend made by people.” Second Master said, ”The Immovable King Supreme Bodhisattva was under Shakyamuni, a very powerful monk and Guardian of the Faith Elder, so people respectfully called him a Bodhisattva. But all that Bodhisattva stuff is just about people who are incredibly strong. Because their power is far beyond reach, they can do things that ordinary people can’t, thus becoming legends.”

”I see.” The man in sunglasses suddenly understood, then said, ”So, that stele was left by the Immovable King Supreme Bodhisattva?”

”That’s right!” Second Master nodded and said, ”At first, the ancestors didn’t know why Patriarch Bodhidharma chose that place to enter parinirvana. Later, Fang Cai understood what happened. It’s unknown how long the Immovable Bodhisattva Seal had been guarding there, but it seemed its power was weakening. So, Patriarch Bodhidharma went there to help reinforce the seal. However, even with Patriarch Bodhidharma’s power, which was only slightly stronger than the ancestors, it was still far inferior to the Immovable Bodhisattva Seal. Relying on him alone couldn’t reinforce the seal. Therefore, the ancestors suspected that Patriarch Bodhidharma must have left something inside capable of suppressing that Eternal Demon, a power even no less than the Immovable Bodhisattva Seal!”

”Something like that exists?” The man in sunglasses exclaimed, his face full of shock.

”It was rumored that Patriarch Bodhidharma had acquired a section of the Honored Buddha’s relic sharira, containing Shakyamuni’s peak power, unmatched in power.” Second Master said softly, ”So the ancestors suspected that the object Patriarch Bodhidharma used to reinforce the seal was this section of the Honored Buddha’s relic sharira!”

”The Buddha’s relic!” The man in sunglasses was even more shocked, saying in amazement, ”So, they... what they obtained from Patriarch Bodhidharma’s parinirvana chamber was this section of the Buddha’s relic?”

”This was also what the ancestors were most worried about at that time.” Second Master said, ”People from the Wanyan Family couldn’t enter Patriarch Bodhidharma’s chamber, partly because Patriarch Bodhidharma set too many obstacles, and partly because of this section of the Buddha’s relic. We didn’t have the ability to destroy this section of the Buddha’s relic, nor could we control it, so we could only build a tomb to store it, to prevent future generations from finding it. Unexpectedly, someone still entered Patriarch Bodhidharma’s parinirvana chamber and retrieved this section of the Buddha’s relic. Alas, it seems everything is destined by fate!”

The man in sunglasses slowly nodded, stayed silent for a moment, then said in a low voice, ”Second Master, according to this, if the people in Shenchuan City can activate that Buddha’s relic, they can surely kill the Corpse Ghost Dragon?”

Second Master said softly, ”The power contained in the Buddha’s relic, according to the ancestors, is unfathomable!”

”The ancestors... the ancestors could battle Patriarch Bodhidharma for half a day without falling behind; their power far exceeded today’s Corpse Ghost Dragon. But even the ancestors said such words...” The man in sunglasses scratched his head and said in a low voice, ”Second Master, is the power in the Buddha’s relic so strong? After all, it’s just a Buddha who has passed away, and it’s only a section of his bone; could it really possess such great power?”

”What do you understand?” Second Master glanced at the man in sunglasses, saying, ”Ancestor Buddha Shakyamuni was the pinnacle figure after the Three Teachings of Buddhist and Taoist Magic; some say his power was comparable to the creators of those sects. You’ve never been inside the Demon Hideout Cave, so you don’t know what’s in there. No one can get close to the Great Demon’s coffin, not even those like Ancestor Chen Tuan, Bodhidharma, the Corpse Ghost Dragon, and Wu Tianchi, who’ve been there before. If Ancestor Buddha Shakyamuni’s power indeed compares to the Great Demon King’s, a section of his Buddha’s relic is enough to crush everything. The power of the strongest is beyond our comprehension; even the ancestors could only look up to it, never knowing their true heights throughout their lifetime!”

The man in sunglasses took a deep breath. He had, of course, heard about the Great Demon King, but he didn’t expect that the coffin of the Great Demon King had such power. None of the legendary strongest figures could get close to his coffin; it’s truly a ground-breaking force. In this way, the power within that section of the Buddha’s relic would surely not have difficulty in killing the Corpse Ghost Dragon!

Thinking for a while, the man in sunglasses suddenly asked, ”By the way, who exactly is the Eternal Demon sealed by the Immovable King Supreme Bodhisattva? Could it be... someone from the Demon Sect?”

”No one knows.” Second Master shrugged and said, ”The seal can’t even be approached, let alone figuring out what’s inside.”

The man in sunglasses said softly, ”But now that Ye Qing has taken that Buddha’s relic, the seal of the Eternal Demon will surely weaken. Will... will the Eternal Demon break free?”

”Break free?” Second Master glanced at the man in sunglasses and said, ”So many years have passed since Patriarch Bodhidharma reinforced the seal, over a thousand years now. That Eternal Demon, no matter how strong, is most likely no longer alive. Even if the seal is completely loosened, do you think it can come out?”

”Uh...” The man in sunglasses scratched his head and said in a low voice, ”Second Master, according to Third Master and the others, after Ye Qing came out from Patriarch Bodhidharma’s chamber, that chamber where Patriarch Bodhidharma entered parinirvana and all the channels were completely sealed. So, Third Master and the others suspect that Ye Qing left through another passage. Since Patriarch Bodhidharma reinforced the seal in that chamber, it means that chamber must be connected with where the Eternal Demon is sealed. So, doesn’t it mean Ye Qing... passed through that place sealing the Eternal Demon?”

Hearing this, Second Master’s face changed as well. He hadn’t thought about this earlier. Now listening to the man in sunglasses, he suddenly felt something was amiss. If Ye Qing passed by the place where the Eternal Demon is sealed, he surely had to pass the Immovable Bodhisattva Seal too. But why didn’t the Immovable Bodhisattva Seal instantly kill him? Could it mean that after a thousand years, it no longer has power?

”Ye Qing being able to enter the chamber where Patriarch Bodhidharma entered parinirvana suggests he has a connection with the Buddhist Sect, which might be the main reason Shijia chose him. But...” The man in sunglasses hasn’t yet noticed Second Master’s shock and continued, ”If he passed through that sealed place, he must have gone by that Eternal Demon’s side. Even if the Eternal Demon is dead, such a powerful existence, even in death, its power would still exist. The Eternal Demon needed the combined force of the Buddha’s relic and the Immovable Bodhisattva Seal to suppress it, so obviously, its power was terrifying. Even in death, the remaining power should be enough to kill Ye Qing. So why did Ye Qing come out unscathed?”

This question from the man in sunglasses made Second Master even more puzzled, he indeed hadn’t thought so deeply before. Now thinking about it, indeed, it was just as the man in sunglasses said. Ye Qing entering Patriarch Bodhidharma’s parinirvana chamber indicated his connection with the Buddha, so it made sense he could pass through the Immovable Bodhisattva Seal. But why could he pass by the Eternal Demon? Those with connections to Buddha would naturally oppose demons, so why didn’t the Eternal Demon’s power devour him?

After a moment of silence, Second Master suddenly gritted his teeth and said in a deep voice, ”This Ye Qing, has too many secrets, this person must be closely observed.”
