Handsome Fatty Wang stood on the stone platform, wrapping his arms around one end of the silver coffin, then suddenly shouted, ”Lift!”

Fat Wang shouted, exerting force with his arms to lift the silver coffin. However, the coffin remained completely unmoved, as if he wasn’t using any strength at all.

”Lift!” Fat Wang shouted again, but the silver coffin still didn’t budge an inch.

The people waiting anxiously beside him were now somewhat chaotic, with one person urgently saying, ”Fat Wang, what are you doing? If you’re going to move the coffin, hurry up and do it. Are you just posturing for us?”

”Damn, do you think I don’t want to move this coffin? But it’s so damn heavy, I can’t lift it!” Fat Wang said in frustration.

”You useless thing, just how heavy can this coffin be? You yelled twice, yet the coffin didn’t even wobble. Are you even using your strength?”

”Nonsense, can’t you see the veins on my face popping? Who said the Fat Lord didn’t use his strength?” Fat Wang stepped back and said, ”The coffin is really heavy, there’s no way to open it. If you don’t believe me, come and try it yourselves!”

The people exchanged glances; to be honest, after Nine-Fingers Wu Yong said the coffin was dangerous, everyone avoided it like it was a plague, no one dared to go near. Although Fat Wang invited them to try, they truly didn’t dare approach.

”Let me try.” Nine-Fingers Wu Yong walked over, standing below the stone platform, reached out to push the silver coffin, but it didn’t even wobble. This surprised him, and he climbed up the stone platform, mimicking Fat Wang’s earlier attempts to lift the coffin. But no matter how much force he used, the silver coffin didn’t move at all; he couldn’t budge it one bit.

”How about now? Didn’t I say so right?” Fat Wang stood by and said, ”The silver coffin can’t be moved at all, it’s like a mountain. Even with all my strength, I can’t make it wobble. It’s really strange. What exactly is inside this coffin?”

While saying that, Fat Wang reached out to push the coffin lid. But the lid was just like the coffin itself, no matter how much force he used, it didn’t move at all, as stable as Mount Tai.

”This silver coffin is really strange.” Nine-Fingers Wu Yong furrowed his brows, looking at his subordinates below, said, ”All of you come up, let’s exert force together and see if we can push this silver coffin away.”

At this point, there was no choice but for everyone to jump onto the stone platform and together with Fat Wang, they tried to push the silver coffin away. But even with the combined force of more than ten people, the silver coffin remained unmoved, just like before, as if they were pushing a mountain. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t budge it one bit.

”What’s going on?” exclaimed one of Nine-Fingers Wu Yong’s men, ”Such a large coffin, regardless of what’s inside, how can it be this heavy? We’re all exerting force, yet it doesn’t wobble even a little. What’s going on?”

”Could it be that the coffin is nailed to the ground?” someone whispered nearby.

”Nonsense, even if it’s nailed to the ground, with so many of us exerting force, it should at least wobble a bit. But no movement at all, it’s way too strange.”

”Hey, what’s happening over there?” As everyone was at a loss, Ye Qing’s voice came from afar.

”Young Ye, there’s a passage under the silver coffin that can lead us out of here. But the silver coffin won’t move!” Fat Wang shouted back.

”It won’t move? What’s going on?” Ye Qing asked in surprise.

”I don’t know either, it must be because the silver coffin is too heavy. With so many of us exerting force, it doesn’t even wobble.”

Ye Qing paused for a moment, and instinctively felt that something was definitely unusual since more than ten people exerted force, yet the silver coffin didn’t even wiggle. He dodged the pursuit of the ten ironclad puppets while taking the time to glance at the stone platform. Even with everyone exerting force, the coffin remained motionless, surprising Ye Qing even more.

”All of you move aside, let me try.” Ye Qing shouted.

Without a second thought, Fat Wang and the others jumped down from the stone platform and ran far away. With the ten ironclad puppets following Ye Qing, they certainly didn’t want to be pursued by those puppets.

Ye Qing and the others immediately dispersed, dodging those ironclad puppets, and rushed to the edge of the stone platform. Gazing at the silver coffin atop the platform, Ye Qing took a deep breath, extended his palms, placed them on the coffin, and pushed forward with force.

Ye Qing initially wanted to test just how heavy the silver coffin was, wondering why so many people together couldn’t move it. To his surprise, as soon as he exerted force, the silver coffin slid open without the slightest difficulty and was utterly simple. The silver coffin wasn’t as heavy as imagined, Ye Qing easily pushed it aside.

From a distance, Handsome Fatty Wang and others were watching, and seeing Ye Qing push the silver coffin open, everyone was dumbfounded, their eyes nearly bulging out.

Earlier, when they were collectively pushing the silver coffin, they knew exactly how heavy it was. They assumed Ye Qing wouldn’t budge it an inch, but who would have thought Ye Qing would push it aside, utterly bizarre! Did Ye Qing’s strength exceed the combined force of these dozen people by a large margin?

”Wow, Young Ye, how... how did you do that?” Handsome Fatty Wang was the first to react, asking in astonishment.

”I just pushed it like that.” Ye Qingqi replied puzzled: ”Did you guys not use force? This coffin isn’t heavy at all, not even as heavy as a wooden coffin!”

The crowd was even more shocked, as they had truly felt its weight earlier. Now Ye Qing claims the coffin isn’t heavy, which sounds arrogant. Yet, Ye Qing indeed pushed the coffin open, leaving them no choice but to believe him.

”What’s going on here?” Handsome Fatty Wang’s face was filled with doubt, the situation far beyond his expectations.

”Now’s not the time to think about this.” Ye Qing turned and retreated from the stone platform, leading the ironclad puppets in another direction as he shouted, ”There’s a passage under the silver coffin, hurry and enter, I’ll hold off these armored figures for you.”

No one uttered unnecessary words, Nine-Fingers Wu Yong and the others, along with Handsome Fatty Wang, rushed to the stone platform. Indeed, once the silver coffin was moved, a dark passage was revealed beneath it, leading who knows where. But it offered a way out of the current predicament, a fact for sure.

After waiting here for so long, nearly in despair, seeing hope finally rekindled a surge of excitement within them. No one uttered a single word, scrambling onto the stone platform and jumping into the passage to find a chance to escape.

Handsome Fatty Wang was the last one to go. He stood atop the stone platform, then turned to Ye Qing, saying, ”Young Ye, we’ve all gone, hurry and come!”

”You go first, I’ll be right there.” Ye Qing’s voice was somewhat fatigued; being chased by those ironclad puppets for so long, it was commendable he was still standing.

Handsome Fatty Wang said no more, directly jumping into the passage.

Seeing everyone had descended, Ye Qing took a deep breath and dodged past ten ironclad puppets in quick succession, rapidly reaching the side of the stone platform. His speed was much faster than the ironclad puppets, and by the time he arrived, they had only just turned around.

Ye Qing jumped onto the stone platform, grasped the silver coffin with both hands, and jumped into the passage. As he descended, he used the force of his fall to drag the silver coffin back to its original place, blocking the entrance of the passage completely. In this way, the ironclad puppets outside were unable to enter to pursue Ye Qing and the others.

After Ye Qing and the others had all jumped into the passage, several people entered the hall, none other than the sect leaders from the South Ridge Sect.

These people had been at the entrance of the hall for some time. However, instead of entering, they hid in the stone corridor, observing the situation inside the hall. Just as the Grand Sect Master stated, they all wanted to know how Ye Qing bypassed the silver coffin to enter the secret chamber.

Everything that had happened, the South Ridge Sect members saw from start to finish, including Handsome Fatty Wang’s futile collective push against the silver coffin.

Having heard the Grand Sect Master’s remarks about the silver coffin, the group of sect leaders wasn’t surprised by the coffin’s immovable nature. But when Ye Qing arrived and casually pushed the coffin aside, their expressions changed instantly, all turning toward the Grand Sect Master simultaneously.

The Grand Sect Master didn’t speak; he gestured for silence, observing as Ye Qing and the others jumped into the passage before returning to a normal demeanor.

Nonetheless, his face still reflected shock. He had long known the silver coffin was immovable, yet Ye Qing seemingly effortlessly pushed it open, leaving him struggling to accept it. He had been pondering how Ye Qing would enter Patriarch Bodhidharma’s death chamber, but who would have thought it was so simple?

In truth, not only did the Grand Sect Master not know the reason, even Ye Qing himself was unaware. The fact was, Ye Qing managed to move the silver coffin entirely because he had consumed the Devouring Demon Flower.

The Devouring Demon Flower sprouted from the Great Demon King Coffin, rumored to be the essence of the Great Demon King’s energy. Though the specifics were unknown, the flower was undeniably the essence of the Demon Sect. Hence, Ye Qing having absorbed the essence of the Demon Sect made moving the silver coffin no difficult task.
