The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 208: Chapter 208- The Effects of Divine Luck (2)

The next day at the crack of dawn, when all the knights gathered to train, he stood before them and handed them each a vial of the elixir he extracted from the Myrrh leaves.

”What is this, Commander?” the holy knights asked, looking at the vials in confusion.

”This is your new training supplement. From now on, you all will drink this every morning before training”.

Their eyes still looked at the vial sceptically. This weirdly greenish liquid which gave an awful aroma, they have to drink it every day?

”Do not make me force the content down your throats.”

At those words, the members of the Temple of Light hurriedly drank the contents while holding their noses. Once downed, it took a second or two before the effects of the Myrrh leaves to finally hit.

”W-What is this? I suddenly feel I am overflowing with energy and confidence”.

”Whoa, look at that guy, his sword swings have suddenly become so good”.

”I feel like I know why I couldn’t acquire the skill till now,” the members went wild as the effects of the Myrrh leaves were slowly starting to display themselves. At this moment, Reinhardt announced in a voice that everyone could hear.

”That’s right, this is the effect of the elixir you just drank. It is a super training supplement that allows you to achieve double the result with the same amount of effort”.

As this thing could very well cause chaos in the kingdom if its existence was revealed, he did not inform his knights on the exact effects of the Myrrh Leaves and simply toned it down to a training supplement elixir.

The training began, with the elixir heightening the focus and senses of all the members, the concentration was all time high.

”[Radiant Ascension]” Reinhardt slowly muttered those words and extended his hands towards the sky. After that, in a dramatic scene, he dropped it down as if punching the earth.

At that moment, the sky above brightened, and a few seconds later, a huge pillar of light crashed down as if delivering divine punishment straight from the heavens.

BOOM... the huge pillar of light crashed into the empty training area, shaking the earth and raising clouds of dust. However, there was no actual damage.

The [Radiant Ascension] skill was purely a cleansing power that only purges the evil and the wicked. It also removed any and all debuffs from the area.

After displaying the skill, Reinhardt slowly retracted his arms back. Today, he was training them in skills again.

Exercising one’s body and sword techniques was essential, but so was skill. There was no greater weapon against demons than skills. What’s more, among all the skills, the holy skills had the greatest effect when fighting demons.

Additionally, their knight order was called the Temple of Light because they specialized in holy skills. As such, not practising it would be foolish.

Reinhardt showed them the [Radiant Ascension] and the [Lightforge Ascension] skill. He also wanted to include the [Divine beast Summoning]

into the curriculum. However, after seeing that they were already having a tough time as it is, he kept it for the latter.
He wanted them to master these first two skills before. And so, all the members of the Temple of light got to practicing the skill. Even the Holy Knights were no exception.

If there was any, it would be Zerina. As the latter had more affinity towards the gravity attribute and had practiced it throughout her childhood, making her use the holy attribute at this point would only be putting the cart before the horse.

As such, for her, he set a different regime, and that was to polish her skills and evolve them.

That’s right, skills like stats also have the chance of evolving. Though the chances are very low, there are many talented individuals in this world who have achieved so. Given Zerina’s talent, there was no reason to believe that she couldn’t do it.

Other than polishing her skills, he also wanted her to work on her ultimate skill. The thing that she had created when fighting him and was stopped short of unleashing it during the exhibition match.

Her ultimate skill was still incomplete, as she herself did not understand it completely. Once she gains full comprehension of the skill, it will transcend and bloom into a true ultimate skill.

In any case, that was the task he gave her. The training continued, as one would expect of the members of one of the Seven Great Knight Orders, who were vetted from the magic knight entrance exam; they were all talented in their own way.

What’s more, they were all under the effects of the Myrrh leaves right now, increasing their mana generation, skill progression, and talent to greater heights.

Soon, many of them were starting to display the early concepts of the [Radiant Ascension] skill.

For those who had already mastered the early concept of the skill, they deepened their understanding of the skill, spamming it and making it more powerful.

The high ranking knights and knights were the fastest in grasping the concept of the skill. The squires were not far behind either.

Among them, the one who stood out the most was Gwen. It hasn’t been long since she was shown the skill, and she was already grasping the early concept of it.

A small pillar of light, about three meters wide, fell from the sky. The pillar of light had all the attributes necessary to purge evil. A success!!

However, Gwen was not happy with her progress. Compared to the brilliant column of light that fell down when Commander used the skill, and when she used it, there was a difference of day and night.

”Wow, it looks like you have already grasped the concept of it. If you keep on using and develop your understanding of the skill, you will soon catch up to the knights and high ranking knights”.

Rolan commended in awe of the talent of the girl.
