King of the Wilderness

Chapter 650: Chapter 318: The Realm of the Three Extreme Mountains

Lin Yu’an not only thought about it, but has even planned precisely how to promote it, perfectly aligning with their core demand of attracting people to Dian.

”Yu’an, your idea... is very bold and... very considerate!” Zhang Chengzhi’s eyes lit up with admiration, but he quickly identified the fundamental issue.

”However, Comrade Yu’an, being alone in a primeval forest like Ailao Mountain, how do you ensure safety? And most crucially, the issue of food sources, namely... hunting, is an absolute red line in China.”

Finally, they touched upon the core part.

Lin Yu’an’s expression became extremely serious. He knew that this was the biggest concern he had to personally dispel.

”Director Zhang, you’ve pointed out the most critical aspect, and it is also something I have carefully thought through.” 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ

He solemnly promised: ”First, regarding safety, I will carry a GPS tracker and emergency distress beacon, and the support team in the rear can monitor my location in real-time. I trust in my professional abilities, and I will not risk my life.”

”Secondly, and most importantly, concerning hunting.” His tone was resolute, ”I assure you, all my actions within China will strictly abide by the Wildlife Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China. I will not cross any legal red line.”

He paused and added the most crucial point: ”As for large animals, I am aware that there are a considerable number of wild boars in Ailao Mountain. If the local forestry department has related population control plans, I am very willing to participate as a volunteer.”

”For this episode, what I want to show the world is not conquest, but the wisdom of survival within the rules. It is about how to survive by relying on knowledge and skills while respecting nature and the law.”

”I believe that this in itself is a higher and more positive cultural output.”

These words, like a reassurance, completely dispelled the last trace of doubt in the minds of Zhang Chengzhi and Liang Wenbin.

Legally compliant, safeguarded by a top international team and platform, creatively combined with new media, and the promotional strategy hit the nail on the head... This plan is almost flawless.

A genuinely satisfied smile finally appeared on Zhang Chengzhi’s face. He raised his wine glass remotely to Lin Yu’an.

”Yu’an, with your words, we are relieved!” His voice was full of praise, ”You not only have a global vision but also a rare respect for the national law!”

”The specific details of the cooperation will be formally discussed with your team representatives at the summit tomorrow. But tonight, we will talk about only one thing.”

He stood up and warmly said, ”Welcome home, Comrade Yu’an!”

The atmosphere at the banquet became even more harmonious after reaching a consensus.

The next day, after the Kunming International Tourism Industry Summit, a high-security, media-excluded closed-door meeting was held, officially deciding the final form of ”Lin Yu’an: Wilderness Mountain Realm.”

Around the massive conference table, the atmosphere was solemn yet full of anticipation, with a hint of subtle seriousness.

As the soul of the project, Lin Yu’an, with Zhang Chengzhi’s deference, unapologetically took the main seat.

On his left side was an impressive lineup. Besides the host’s Yunnan Province Department of Culture and Tourism’s Director Zhang Chengzhi and Director Liang Wenbin, several other heavyweight figures from afar were seated.

Vice Director Li from Jilin Province Department of Culture and Tourism, whose sole purpose this trip was Changbai Mountain, and Director Yang from the Sichuan Province Aba Prefecture Department of Culture and Tourism, representing the magnificent Mount Siguniang.

The gathering of the highest officials of the cultural and tourism systems from these three places had already exceeded the ordinary commercial project scope, more like an internal bidding meeting centering around the super IP of Lin Yu’an.

On his right side was a senior producer from the international production team CAA, proficient in cross-border productions.

The other end of the conference table was equally resplendent. The Vice President of Penguin Video, General Manager Li, and the head of TikTok’s entertainment business, General Manager Wang, had both flown in from Beijing and Shanghai to Kunming.

This could be called a dream team that brought together top global content production, distribution channels, and national-level local government resources.

Everyone present was well aware that getting these normally highly busy moguls to come in person was by no means just for a small program.

What they valued was the political significance and strategic value of cultural output behind Lin Yu’an’s project, which could not be measured by money.

As Zhang Chengzhi privately revealed to Lin Yu’an before the meeting: ”Yu’an, your trip to New York had a far better effect than we imagined. They attach great importance to it, considering it an excellent opportunity to showcase beautiful China and cultural confidence to the world.”

”Therefore, this program is no longer just your personal affair, it carries a... special mission.”

The meeting began without much small talk and went straight to the point.

Lin Yu’an first laid out his overall concept for the first season of ”Above the Wilderness,” challenging three highly representative Chinese landscapes: the subtropical jungle of Yunnan Ailao Mountain, the high-altitude snow-capped peaks of Sichuan Mount Siguniang, and the temperate snow forest of Jilin Changbai Mountain.

This idea, once proposed, immediately received warm responses from the tourism leaders of the three regions, who all expressed their willingness to provide the highest level of support.
