King of the Wilderness

Chapter 605: Chapter 304: Frozen Throne Premiere

With the Arctic Home construction plan arranged, the rest was left to the teams on both sides; Lin Yu’an only needed to wait.

When Lin Yu’an returned to the living room, Aliya was already on the phone sharing their new home address with her family. ℯ

She looked at Lin Yu’an coming downstairs and eagerly announced, ”It’s done! Kley was so excited, he almost jumped out of his chair! He said he wants to drive his Ford Raptor over tomorrow!”

”My dad and moms are also very happy and said they would arrange the trip as soon as possible. Oh my God, I can hardly believe we’re going to have a big family party here soon!”

Looking at her pure joyful expression, Lin Yu’an and Emily were deeply touched.

The feeling of home, at this moment, became unprecedentedly complete and real.

He glanced at the latest 120-inch ultra-large OLED Sony TV on the wall, and a crucial thought suddenly came to his mind.

Smiling, he said to his two wives, ”I almost forgot, tonight, there seems to be an old movie of mine airing.”

Aliya and Emily were both stunned for a moment, then they also reacted.

”Oh, my God!” Aliya covered her mouth, ”It’s ’Alone in the Wilderness: Frozen Throne’! It’s premiering tonight! I actually forgot such an important thing!”

Emily’s eyes were filled with anticipation and a hint of apprehension, ”Is it finally going to air? I wonder how they will edit you...”

Lin Yu’an spoke calmly and confidently, ”No matter how it’s edited, there’s still a place for me as the champion. We just need to sit here and watch as ordinary spectators.”

He turned around, smiling as he held out his hand to them, ”Come on, let Irena prepare some popcorn and hot cocoa for us.”

”Tonight, let you both see how your husband builds his Frozen Throne in a completely different kingdom!”

The night was deep, the cold wind roared outside, but inside the family theater at the Eagle’s Nest, it was as warm as spring.

The three of them, along with two babies who had just finished their milk and were staring with big curious eyes, were comfortably nestled in that top-notch leather sofa with heating and massage functions.

The gigantic curved IMAX screen was lit with Discovery Channel’s iconic globe logo at the moment.

This warm and quiet scene contrasted sharply with the impending storm of public opinion on the global online world outside.

Tens of thousands of families across the United States, Canada, Europe, and even Asia had their TV channels locked onto the Discovery Channel.

On the world’s largest video site, YouTube, the Discovery Channel’s official live stream had already surpassed five million viewers online, continuing to skyrocket at a rate of thousands per second.

On social media, the hashtag #AloneFrozenThrone had long been one of the top three topics on the global trending list.

The flagship IP ’Alone in the Wilderness,’ after eight full seasons, had long been more than just a survival show.

It had evolved into a cultural phenomenon, a carnival that gathered hardcore survival enthusiasts, outdoor sports fans, craftsmen, and even military enthusiasts worldwide.

And this time, the ”Frozen Throne” legend season took this sense of anticipation to unprecedented heights.

[It’s here! It’s here! Finally, it’s here!]

[The return of the six legendary contestants! The most brutal Labrador Coastline ever! I’ve been waiting for this day for almost a year!]

[No more nonsense! I just want to watch God Lin! After becoming a legend in season eight, I want to see who can challenge him this time!]

[I’ve had such a good year, not only in February with the Frozen Throne, but October also has the ninth season of Alone in the Wilderness! Two seasons in one year, double the joy!]

As the stirring and epic opening theme played, a series of brilliant highlights from past contestants, along with their comeback declarations, were rapidly edited together.

When Lin Yu’an’s calm, resolute Asian face appeared, accompanied by the breathtaking scene of him hunting a black bear at Chilco Lake, the entire live chat exploded instantly!

The program officially started. From the contestants’ arrival in the northernmost town of Nain, Newfoundland, to their first official meeting in the conference room, the editing skills of the production team were fully displayed.

Each contestant’s personality, advantages, and motives for returning were distinctly portrayed in just over ten minutes.

Vonia’s calmness and wisdom, Kelly’s resilience and agility, Michelle’s confidence, Colton’s sharpness, Amos’ composure...

Each one was a formidable force on their own! When all the contestants had finished introduction, it was Lin Yu’an’s turn to speak.

His calm, yet absolutely majestic declaration was like a ladle of cold water thrown into boiling oil, blowing up the entire online discourse!

”I am Lin Yu’an. The champion of the eighth season. At Chilco Lake, I lasted 93 days. During which, I hunted a mule deer and an adult black bear.”

”My return this time is simple. I came back to accept all of your challenges.”

”The throne is here, feel free to come at me!”

This statement was paired with a soundtrack filled with oppressive energy by the production team; the moment it aired, global online communities immediately split into several distinctly separated battlegrounds.

In the YouTube comment section and hunting forums, Lin Yu’an’s fans felt an unparalleled thrill at this moment!

[Fuck! This is what a champion’s declaration should be! Simple! Brutal! Speak directly with achievements! So damn cool!]
