Since Evan had seen the skeleton army at the beginning of the fourth floor, he already knew that this floor was going to be extremely difficult to pass.

And he had been right.

After escaping from the skeleton army, he had to fight more than a hundred Skeleton Captains before finally arriving at the end of the floor.

If other people found out that Evan had defeated more than a hundred Rank One monsters without using mana while being only Level 25, they would probably go crazy.

In fact, if it wasn’t because he himself had done it, even Evan wouldn’t have believed such a thing was possible.

However, he did not have time to think about any of that right now because the skeleton was already charging toward him with its black sword in hand.

Evan also tightened his grip around the Black Star in his right hand and moved toward the skeleton.

When they both approached each other, they simultaneously swung their swords.

CLANG!

Their swords collided, and sparks flew in every direction as powerful shockwaves spread throughout the surroundings.

”Piss off!”

The instant their swords collided, Evan didn’t hesitate and immediately threw a punch with his left hand toward the skeleton.

The skeleton also used its free hand to meet Evan’s punch.

BOOM!

When their fists collided, the skeleton’s arm was forcefully pushed backward by Evan’s tremendous strength.

Taking advantage of the opening, Evan immediately raised his leg and kicked toward the skeleton’s chest.

BANG!

His kick connected directly with the skeleton’s chest, sending it flying five meters backward before it crashed heavily onto the ground.

Evan didn’t give the skeleton any time to recover and before it could even stand up, he had already arrived in front of it.

The skeleton opened its mouth and attempted to shoot another dark energy ball at Evan.

But before it could succeed, Evan swung his leg and delivered another powerful kick to its chest.

BANG!

The skeleton was knocked back onto the ground once again, its body trembling from the impact.

However, Evan also noticed that most of the impact from his kicks had been absorbed by its armor, meaning that the skeleton itself hadn’t suffered much damage.

Evan’s eyes flashed with a cold light when he saw this and the next instant, the Black Star in his hand turned into a blur as he began attacking the skeleton’s armor with all his strength.

SWOOSH! SWOOSH! SWOOSH! — — —

The Black Star repeatedly slashed against the skeleton’s chest, specifically targeting the area where he had kicked it earlier.

CRACK!

A cracking sound echoed throughout the graveyard, and a crack appeared across the dark armor.

Evan’s eyes narrowed when he saw this, and he immediately increased his attacking speed.

CRACK! CRACK! — — —

Soon, the armor began breaking apart under his relentless attacks.

However, just before Evan could completely destroy it, the skeleton suddenly made a strange sound.

”Hissss!”

Black smoke began pouring out from between its bones and gathered beside it.

Evan’s expression changed when he saw the smoke gathering together and transforming into the shapes of two Skeleton Captains.

As soon as the two Skeleton Captains appeared, they immediately attacked Evan.

Seeing this, Evan had no choice but to stop attacking the skeleton’s armor and defend against the two newcomers.

CLANG! CLANG!

Evan blocked their attacks before immediately counterattacking.

His sword flashed repeatedly, and within a few moments, both Skeleton Captains were completely destroyed.

However, during that brief battle, the black skeleton had already managed to stand up and create some distance between itself and Evan.

Evan saw this and clicked his tongue in irritation.

”This guy is troublesome...”

He muttered before his figure charged toward the skeleton once again.

The skeleton immediately raised its black sword to block Evan’s attack.

CLANG!

Their swords collided, and in the next instant, the skeleton opened its mouth and spat out an energy ball, as if it had been waiting inside its mouth for a long time.

Evan was stunned when he saw this and quickly jumped aside, successfully dodging the attack.

However, the instant he dodged, the skeleton shot out another dark energy ball.

Evan was caught off guard by the second attack. He twisted his body at the last moment, barely managing to dodge the energy ball.

However, the skeleton took advantage of that brief opening.

It stepped forward and threw a powerful punch toward Evan.

BOOM!

The skeleton’s fist slammed directly into Evan’s chest, sending him flying backward as his body rolled across the ground.

Even with Steel Body and the Wolf Robe protecting him, Evan felt a burning sensation in his chest, and several of his ribs were fractured.

Coughing up blood, Evan noticed that the skeleton was already charging toward him, clearly not intending to give him any time to stand up.

”Fu*k you!”

He cursed when he saw this and just as the skeleton reached him, Evan kicked out with one of his legs, striking its knee.

Because the skeleton was running forward, the sudden impact against its knee caused it to stagger forward and fall face-first toward Evan.

Evan gritted his teeth and quickly rolled aside before standing up beside the fallen skeleton.

His chest hurt badly, but he didn’t have time to worry about his injuries.

He didn’t even bother wiping away the blood flowing from the corner of his mouth and a look of determination flashed in his eyes.

’This is the best chance I have...’

He thought inwardly and before the skeleton could stand up, Evan swung the Black Star in a wide circular motion, striking down toward the fallen skeleton.

”Shockwave Severance!”

BOOOOOOM!

A powerful shockwave erupted from the Black Star and slammed into the skeleton.

The dark armor covering its entire body trembled violently before—

SHATTER!

It completely broke apart, revealing the black bones underneath.

Evan’s entire body ached terribly after using Shockwave Severance in his current condition.

His muscles felt as if they were being torn apart from within, and blood began flowing from the corner of his mouth.

But despite the pain, Evan gritted his teeth and immediately dashed toward the skeleton, which had been blasted several meters away by the shockwave.

The skeleton was still recovering from the impact when Evan appeared in front of it.

He raised the Black Star and slashed toward its now-unprotected head.

SWOOSH!

The skeleton reacted quickly and opened its mouth, trying to shoot another dark energy ball.

However, Evan’s sword struck its head before it could release the attack.

CLANG!

The skeleton’s head was knocked to the side, preventing it from using its dark energy attack.

Evan didn’t give it another chance.

He dropped the Black Star to the ground and clenched both fists before punching the skeleton’s head repeatedly.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! — — —

His fists landed one after another, cracking the skeleton’s skull.

The skeleton desperately tried to defend itself, but without its armor, it could no longer withstand Evan’s overwhelming strength.

In just three seconds, Evan threw more than twenty punches, striking the exact same spot.

CRACK!

A cracking sound echoed throughout the graveyard, and a massive crack appeared across the skeleton’s skull.

Evan’s eyes flashed with a cold light when he saw this.

He pulled his fist back one final time and punched with all his remaining strength.

BOOOOOOM!

His fist struck the black skull, and it finally shattered into countless bone fragments.

[You have killed a Rank One Undead Skeleton General, Level 40. You can... — — —]

The moment the Skeleton General died, Evan’s body finally reached its limit.

THUD!

He collapsed onto the ground, completely exhausted.

”Fu*k this life...” He cursed, groaning in pain as waves of intense pain surged through his body.

He lay on the ground for nearly five minutes before finally mustering enough strength to sit up.

Taking out another healing potion from his Storage Ring, he gulped it down in one go.

As the potion slid down his throat, a cool sensation spread throughout his body, helping to relieve the pain.

He once again lay down on the ground and remained motionless for nearly an hour and a half, allowing his body to recover somewhat.

Taking a deep breath, he finally sat up again and let out a sigh.

”I nearly lost my damn life right there...”

He muttered under his breath while shaking his head.

Taking out some food from his Storage Ring, Evan began eating to recover his strength.

As he ate, Evan glanced toward the corpse of the Skeleton General.

However, the moment he looked at the area beside its corpse, his eyes suddenly widened, and his jaw nearly dropped to the ground.

He rubbed his eyes, thinking that he was hallucinating.

But even after rubbing them several times, the scene in front of him remained unchanged and a look of ecstasy finally appeared on his face.

”This damn place finally decided to give me something...”

He said excitedly and crawled forward like a beggar, his eyes shining with anticipation.

When he reached the dead skeleton, he stared at the shining skill scroll lying before him, tears almost flowing from his eyes.

What was the most beautiful thing in the world?

Different people would have different answers.

Some might say it was a woman they had once seen.

Others might say it was a breathtaking landscape, a priceless treasure, or something else entirely.

But for Evan...The skill scroll lying before him was undoubtedly the most beautiful thing he had seen since he was born.

After entering this dungeon, he had slowly lost hope of receiving any kind of reward.

He had killed countless unranked skeletons.

He had defeated more than a hundred Rank One monsters.

Yet, he hadn’t received anything.

Not even a single useful item.

But now, after finally defeating the powerful Skeleton General, he had actually received a skill scroll.

Evan wiped away his tears and finally managed to control his emotions.

However, his smile quickly faded as he remembered something.

Even if this skill was incredibly powerful, he couldn’t use mana while inside the dungeon.

His evolution requirements prevented him from using mana.

Thinking about this, his excited expression immediately became gloomy.

’Even if this is an incredibly powerful skill, I won’t be able to use it here.’

Although he felt disappointed, Evan didn’t hesitate to pick up the skill scroll.

”Well, at least I’ll be able to use it after I leave the dungeon.”

He consoled himself before looking at the details of the skill scroll.

At first, Evan’s expression remained normal as he read the skill details.

However, the instant he finished reading them, his eyes widened.

And finally—

”Hahahahaha!” He burst into laughter.

His laughter echoed throughout the dark graveyard, making him look almost like a madman.

”This is exactly what I needed for this dungeon!”

Evan laughed while staring at the skill information.

”I think the Lady of Luck was saving all my luck until now just to give me this skill!”
