World Evolution: Starting With The Wind Monarch

When Evan read that he would not be able to change his Job Class in the future, his expression couldn’t help but change.

Every time a person evolves to the next rank, they can choose a class.

The first class can be chosen at Level 25, while the second class can be chosen at Level 50.

Choosing a second class doesn’t mean the class chosen at Level 25 will disappear. Evolvers will still be able to use the skills granted by their first class.

There is a small possibility that the second class that appears at Level 50 will be the evolved version of the class chosen at Level 25.

However, the probability of this happening is very low. Most of the time, people receive classes related to their first class at Level 50, but not its evolved version.

Take the Mage Class, for example. The evolved class of Mage is Grand Magician.

But most people who choose the Mage Class receive classes like Fire Mage, Lightning Mage, Water Mage, etc. at Level 50.

These classes are related to the Mage Class, but they are not the evolved version of the Mage Class.

However, after choosing Elemental Apprentice, Evan didn’t have to worry about his future Job Classes anymore.

As mentioned in the details of the class, every time he evolved to the next rank, his Job Class would evolve along with him and become more powerful.

’I have never heard of any class that could evolve along with its user. It’s definitely at least of Unique Grade, if not higher.’

Evan thought with gleaming eyes, feeling excited that he had trusted his instincts and chosen the Elemental Apprentice Class.

However, all of that excitement disappeared the moment he saw the requirements for becoming an Elemental Apprentice.

---) To become an Elemental Apprentice, you must meet the following requirements:

[Kill 100 unranked creatures without using mana: 0/100]

[Kill 10 Rank One creatures: 0/10] [The opponent must be killed within 30 seconds after the start of the fight.]

[Conquer a Rank One Dungeon solo without using mana: 0/1] **

[Once you complete the above requirements, you will become an Elemental Apprentice and evolve into a Rank One Evolver.]

====

Evan stared at the requirements with wide eyes, even rubbing them to make sure he wasn’t hallucinating.

He closed his Status Window and opened it again. But no matter how he looked at it, the requirements remained the same.

”What in the world are these insane requirements?!” Evan nearly screamed out loud, losing his composure.

Among the three requirements, only the first one was relatively normal. And it was considered normal because of Evan’s absurd strength.

For other Level 25 unranked evolvers, unless they fought against very low-level unranked creatures, it wouldn’t be easy to kill one hundred unranked creatures without using mana.

As for the other two requirements, they were simply insane.

With his current strength, it wasn’t impossible for him to kill Rank One creatures.

But the requirement was to kill them within thirty seconds after the start of the battle.

The third requirement was even more insane.

It normally took an entire team of evolvers to clear a dungeon. But now, he had to clear one solo, and as if that wasn’t enough, he had to clear it without using any mana.

Evan closed his eyes and took several deep breaths to calm down his restless heart.

After a few minutes, his chaotic emotions finally settled a little, and he opened his eyes.

”After killing the Silver Bear, I received a huge boost in my power, so completing the first requirement isn’t a problem. The second requirement is a little tricky, but if I put everything I have into it, I should be able to complete it somehow.”

He looked at the third requirement and frowned deeply.

”But this third requirement...”

[Conquer a Rank One Dungeon solo without using mana: 0/1] **

”How am I supposed to complete this?”

Just as Evan was thinking about how to solve this problem, he suddenly remembered something, and his face became pale.

”People can’t enter a dungeon before they turn sixteen or become a Rank One Evolver...”

It wasn’t a rule set by the authorities or the empire. Rather, it was a rule of the dungeons—or, to be more precise, a rule of the Source Seed Plan that had awakened the mana of the planet.

Before a person turned sixteen years old or became a Rank One Evolver, it was impossible for them to enter a dungeon.

Previously, Evan hadn’t even thought about this matter because he was confident that he would be able to become a Rank One Evolver very quickly.

Once he became a Rank One Evolver, whether he was fifteen or sixteen wouldn’t matter, as he would be able to enter dungeons freely.

But now, the requirement for him to evolve to Rank One was to clear a dungeon.

The problem was that he was currently fifteen years old. At his current age, he simply couldn’t enter a dungeon.

He would have to wait for an entire year before he could enter a dungeon.

His emotions, which he had just managed to calm down, once again spiraled out of control, and his breathing became heavy.

’Damn it, do I really have to waste an entire year without doing anything?’

Just as he was feeling hopeless, he suddenly noticed something strange.

”What is this?”

He stared at the final requirement and saw two small star-shaped icons beside it.

At this moment, both stars were glowing with a brilliant golden light.

Evan frowned slightly and focused his gaze on the glowing stars.

The moment he did, several lines of text appeared before his eyes.

[DO YOU WANT TO ENTER THE RANK ONE DUNGEON: SKELETON GRAVEYARD?]

[Yes/No]

[Time remaining before the Dungeon closes: 4 hours 53 minutes 56 seconds]

=====

”What?!”

Evan’s eyes widened in shock when he saw this, and he stared at the notification in disbelief.

”What the hell is this?” He muttered with a baffled look, feeling extremely confused.

He once again read the notification, and as he looked at the ticking countdown, he couldn’t help but show a hesitant expression.

’Is it possible that even though I am only fifteen, I can still enter this Dungeon called Skeleton Graveyard simply by selecting ”Yes” on my Status Window?’

He looked at the ticking countdown, and his eyes narrowed.

’And if I want to enter this Dungeon, I have to do it within five hours. Otherwise, I’ll lose the opportunity.’

Looking at the notification and the countdown, Evan genuinely couldn’t help but feel confused.

”Why am I getting this option? Do other people also get something like this?”

Evan had never heard his grandparents talk about such a situation, so he really wasn’t sure if it was normal or not.

But looking at the time at the bottom that was slowly slipping away, he really didn’t have much time to think.

’I don’t know if this situation is normal or not, but this is my only chance to enter a Dungeon before turning sixteen. If I miss it, I will have to wait for an entire year before I can enter another one.’

He looked at the name of the Dungeon.

’Skeleton Graveyard...’

Evan frowned at this.

’I have read about almost every Dungeon currently known on Planet Zarth, but I have never heard of a Dungeon called Skeleton Graveyard.’

He rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

’Is it a newly discovered Dungeon?’

However, after thinking for a moment, he simply shook his head.

”What does it matter whether it’s a newly discovered Dungeon or not? Since it’s called Skeleton Graveyard, it’s most likely something related to undeads.” He muttered under his breath, and his expression turned serious.

’Should I tell Grandma and Grandpa before entering the Dungeon?’

He thought about it for a moment before shaking his head.

’Forget it. I should just rest properly before entering.’

The reason he wasn’t telling them was because he was afraid that they would stop him from entering the Dungeon. Although he knew it would be for his own safety, he still didn’t want to waste an entire year.

[Time remaining before the Dungeon closes: 4 hours 50 minutes 26 seconds]

He looked at the timer and took out another healing potion, gulping it down.

He had just finished a difficult battle against the Silver Bear, and his body was still recovering from his injuries.

’I will use these five hours to recover as much as possible. Who knows what I’ll have to face after entering the Dungeon?’

Evan took a deep breath and rubbed his forehead.

’I just hope the Dungeon doesn’t have more than five floors. Otherwise, conquering it will be troublesome.’

Evan recalled the information about Dungeons that he had read in books.

A Rank One Dungeon could have anywhere from five to ten floors.

The higher the Rank of a Dungeon, the more floors it would generally have.

Rank One Dungeons usually contained unranked and Rank One magical beasts or monsters. No monster or magical beast inside a Rank One Dungeon would normally exceed Level 50.

If a Rank One Dungeon had five floors, it would usually have one Boss-level magical beast or monster.

However, if a Dungeon had ten floors, it would have two Boss-level magical beasts or monsters—one on the fifth floor and another on the tenth floor.

Therefore, Evan sincerely hoped that Skeleton Graveyard would only have five floors so that he wouldn’t have to kill two Boss-level monsters to clear it.

After thinking about everything, Evan closed his eyes and prepared to rest before entering the Dungeon.

However, just as he was about to relax, he suddenly remembered something.

’I still haven’t checked what skill I got from killing the Silver Bear.’

Evan quickly took the skill scroll out of his Storage Ring.

’I just hope it’s something useful that can help me inside the Dungeon.’

He thought to himself and looked at the details of the skill.

But the moment he looked at its details, his expression became strange.
