The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 80: Chapter 80: Got It

Hearing her mother’s words, Er Ya was full of sadness.

”Mom, I didn’t mean not to come back.”

Yan Jie gave her younger daughter a cold glance and said, ”If you wanted to come home, you wouldn’t choose to stay at school, let alone stay at a classmate’s house but not come home.”

Speaking of this, Er Ya’s eyes were full of hurt, and she couldn’t help but voice her question, ”Mom, you saw what happened then, it was clearly sister who tore up my book, I didn’t do anything wrong, it was sister who did, but you made me apologize to her instead, just how long will you be biased, am I not your daughter too, how can you be like this.”

”Hmph... Even if your sister tore up your textbook, so what? Just glue it back together, but you spoke loudly to your sister, that’s where you went wrong.”

Hearing Yan Jie’s words, Yiyi re-evaluated her understanding of this woman.

She couldn’t help but wonder if the woman in front of her was really Er Ya’s biological mother, how could any mother be so biased, no... this can no longer be considered bias, this is outright different treatment.

”Auntie, I think this is your mistake, even as an outsider, I can see that Fei Wenya is bullying Er Ya, you surely know this in your heart too, yet you don’t help Er Ya but make things difficult for her instead, could it be that Er Ya was picked up, for you to treat her like this.”

Hearing Yiyi’s words, Er Ya couldn’t help but look at Yan Jie.

Actually, she had considered the possibility since she was a child, once she even doubted if she was picked up, but her father clearly told her she wasn’t, and she didn’t ask further. Now that Yiyi brought it up again, she looked at her mother with a little trepidation.

”Hmph... I would rather she was picked up, an unfilial rebellious daughter, who has no affection for her family.”

Hearing Yan Jie’s words, Er Ya’s tears couldn’t help but flow down, though she knew since childhood her mother didn’t like her, she really didn’t expect her to detest her in such a way, even though they are biological mother and daughter, how did they end up like this? She asked herself, she hadn’t done anything bad since childhood, why does her mother hate her so much.

Yiyi listened, unable to bear it.

”Ms. Yan Jie, you haven’t fulfilled your responsibilities as a mother, so how can you demand that Er Ya do everything according to your wishes and be a blindly obedient daughter? Don’t you have some self-awareness of your own behavior, yet you have the nerve to criticize Er Ya?”

With that, Yiyi took Er Ya’s hand and said, ”Er Ya, let’s leave, this home is simply unbearable, but how can some people’s faces be so thick, living in your father’s house, yet treating you so maliciously, totally without awareness.”

Fei Wenya exploded upon hearing this.

”Mo Yiyi, what do you mean by that?”

”What do I mean? Don’t you understand? It’s about you, the ingrate.” With that, she turned and left with Er Ya without looking back.

But Er Ya was still immersed in the disappointment and sadness just now, so she had no mind to care about Fei Wenya’s affairs, even though she always knew her mother was biased, she really didn’t expect her mother would wish she was picked up, is that how unwanted she was.

Watching Yiyi and Er Ya’s departing backs, Fei Wenya yelled in anger.

”Mom, look at them! Do they think I am in their way by living in this house? I will go and tell dad that Er Ya doesn’t want to see me at all.”

Not just Fei Wenya, even Yan Jie was furious, she directly stood up and pulled her eldest daughter, saying, ”Wenya, don’t worry, this matter must be told to your father, let him see how his good daughter treats the two of us.”

Meanwhile, Yiyi saw her friend’s disappointed look and couldn’t help but hold her hand saying, ”Alright Er Ya, it’s not worth being mad for such people.”

”But... that person is my biological mother, why... why is she so biased.”

Speaking of this, Yiyi could deeply relate.

”It’s nothing really, look at my father, he used to treat his nephew extremely well, yet he never showed a good face to me, his own daughter. It’s because they never really care about us, even if they are our biological parents. We should live well ourselves, or do you want to be sad and miserable all your life?”

Hearing Yiyi’s words, Er Ya felt a bit better.

”Yes, we should live happily ourselves, otherwise how could one continue living in pain every day.”

”It’s good that you’re thinking this way.”

Yiyi couldn’t help but smile upon hearing this.

When they got home, Yue Jun was a bit puzzled, they said very well before, Er Ya was supposed to go home for the weekend, but unexpectedly the two came back together, yet she didn’t ask anything and went happily to prepare lunch.

The next day, Yiyi took Er Ya to the city.

Before leaving, Yue Jun was a bit worried.

”How about I go with you?”

”Mom, don’t worry, we’re both grown-ups, we won’t get lost.” Yiyi said, waving her hand and bidding farewell to her mother.

Er Ya watched with some envy, a mother like Ding Yuejun is truly a wonderful mother.

Arriving in the city, Yiyi immediately led Er Ya towards the bookstore.

”Yiyi, you seem quite familiar with the city, have you been here before?”

Hearing this, Yiyi was taken aback, but quickly nodded saying, ”Yes, I came here once before.”

In the bookstore, Yiyi started looking for books with a purpose, but after a long time, she didn’t find the two exercise books she remembered, her expression showed some disappointment.

Then Er Ya came over.

”Yiyi, what kind of book are you planning to buy?”

”I’m planning to buy some exercise books, the ones published by our provincial publishing house.”

Hearing this, Er Ya took out two exercise books and said, ”How about these two? They’re also published by the provincial publishing house, I took a look inside at the questions, and they seem good.”

Seeing these two exercise books, Yiyi was overjoyed and took Er Ya’s hand saying, ”Er Ya, you’re amazing! You found the exercise books I want to buy right away, these are exactly the ones I wanted, let’s buy them quickly and go home.”

Feeling happy at Yiyi’s words, Er Ya said, ”So these are the ones you wanted, let’s buy them quickly and go home.”

On the way back, Yiyi’s face was constantly smiling, showing she was very happy.

Seeing Yiyi like this, Er Ya also brightened up, ”Yiyi, why are you so happy, it’s just two exercise books.”

”Er Ya, once we get back, let’s study these exercise books quickly, I believe that if we understand them well, they will definitely help with the college entrance examination.”
