Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2595: Chapter 1886: The Son of a Tycoon

The phone on the desk kept ringing. Mira couldn’t help but exchange a glance with Wagg. Anyone who could call him directly, whether they were from the business or political circles, must be an influential figure.

Now, the fear was that the caller might also be related to Bai Xiaosheng.

At this moment, it’s as if they’ve poked a hornet’s nest, with troubles coming one after another, all exploding within this hour or two, leaving them feeling overwhelmed.

It’s no exaggeration to say that if Mira had known Bai Xiaosheng would be such a hassle, he wouldn’t have agreed to Wagg’s foolish idea for anything.

Unfortunately, there is no medicine for regret in this world, nor are there any ”ifs.”

Mira calmed himself, picked up the phone handset, placed it against his cheek, and said in a deep voice, ”Hello, this is Mira.”

Wagg immediately pricked up his ears, trying hard to listen.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t on speaker, so he couldn’t hear clearly.

”Oh, it’s you. It’s been so long.” Mira relaxed as he recognized the voice on the other end, a smile appearing on his face with a hint of ease.

It seems the call wasn’t from the political circle.

Wagg watched Mira’s reaction from the side, thinking to himself.

If it’s not someone from the political scene, then it must be from the business circle?

Who in the business world has such power to call Mira’s office directly and be addressed by Mira as ”you”?

Wagg’s mind raced.

Such a person could probably be counted on one hand in all of Oshan, possibly even the entire African business scene.

”What did you say?” Mira suddenly showed a bit of surprise, and his expression turned serious.

Wagg immediately focused his attention, closely observing Mira’s reaction.

”Is that so... no problem, I can arrange it.” Mira laughed, ”Yes, your request is nothing unreasonable.”

Wagg couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow.

What Mira said was quite skillful, he agreed to the request while subtly hinting not to make excessive demands.

No one knew who it was or what request they made that prompted such a response from Mr. Mira...

”Let’s have coffee together someday.” After a round of pleasantries, the call finally ended.

Wagg watched as Mira put down the handset.

”Mr. Mira, who was that on the phone?” Wagg couldn’t help but ask.

Mira paused slightly, then said with a deep voice, ”Anlos!”

Anlos!

Wagg’s eyes widened in shock. That was the second most powerful business in the top ten of the West African Chieftain Union, a true local financial conglomerate leader!

If the previous pressure from European and American financial groups seemed distant, this man could truly be considered a business giant right beside them.

”Why did he call you? What did he want?” Wagg couldn’t help but swallow and ask.

Mira’s face looked quite unpleasant as he said in a deep voice, ”His son wants to meet Bai Xiaosheng.”

Upon hearing this, Wagg was instantly shocked and stunned.

It really was about Bai Xiaosheng. Does even Anlos value that Huaxia person so much!

The key issue is Anlos’s son wanting to meet Bai Xiaosheng. Could he have any connection with Bai Xiaosheng?

And that Anlos is even willing to call Mira directly for his son’s meeting...

Wagg was momentarily at a loss for words.

”The fact that even Anlos is involved in this matter is not good. I don’t know how deeply he plans to get involved. However, if he wants to step in, the higher-ups won’t ignore his voice.” Mira said seriously.

This means that their pressure increases significantly, and they need to act faster.

Either confirm Bai Xiaosheng’s issues undeniably or push the Huaxia side to make concessions quickly.

In essence, it’s the same thing.

”I wonder when that young master from the Anlos Family will arrive,” Wagg asked.

”He should be here soon,” Mira said. ”Anyway, in the phone call, Mr. Anlos mentioned that he was already nearby.”

As Wagg nodded, they heard hurried footsteps outside.

”Is that the young master from the Anlos Family!” For a moment, Wagg and Mira both looked towards the door.

The door was knocked.

”Come in!” Mira steadied himself, his voice gentle as he spoke towards the door.

The door opened, and a person came in first, appearing somewhat aggressive.

However, it wasn’t the young master from the Anlos Family; it was Alger.

Mira and Wagg were suddenly somewhat disappointed.

Alger strode towards them, looking angry and speaking loudly, ”Mr. Mira, Mr. Wagg, that Bai Xiaosheng is truly ungrateful, arrogant. I don’t think we need to be polite to him any longer. We should immediately, without delay, use the methods we previously discussed against him!”

Alger’s anxious and indignant demeanor made Wagg and Mira exchange a glance.

He was previously determined to persuade Bai Xiaosheng; heaven knows what kind of provocation he suffered over there...

”We also think this matter can’t be delayed any longer!”

”We must take urgent action, go all out!”

Mira and Wagg rarely voiced their opinions at the same time, both in agreement.

Receiving unanimous support from the two bigwigs, Alger immediately became invigorated, ”Alright, I’ll immediately...”

Before he could finish, there was a knock at the door outside.

Alger looked at the door in confusion, not knowing who was interrupting their conversation at this moment.

Wagg and Mira exchanged a glance.

This time, who was it? Could it be Anlos’s son?

”Come in,” Mira said.

As the door opened, a young man walked in from outside, appearing around the same age as Alger, dressed well but not overly luxurious, with a faint smile on his face.
