The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 657: Chapter 659: What Right Do You Have to Control Me?

”By the way, Grandpa just mentioned that you owe me a favor. You won’t go back on your word, will you?” Xia Xiaonuan asked.

Nangong Yaoling was slightly taken aback.

Then the corners of his mouth lifted into a slight smile. ”What, you have decided so quickly?”

”Yes, I want you to immediately release Liang Shaochen!”

Upon hearing this, Nangong Yaoling’s body trembled.

”An opportunity like this is so rare. Are you sure you don’t want to think it over?” His body instantly turned cold, and his tone became somewhat stiff.

”There’s nothing to think about. This is what I want. Since you agreed with Grandpa, release him immediately!”

Nangong Yaoling’s body tensed as he suddenly slammed on the brakes.

Xia Xiaonuan lurched forward but was restrained by the seatbelt, avoiding a collision with the windshield.

She glared at him angrily. ”Are you crazy?”

”I’m not the one who’s crazy, you are.” Nangong Yaoling gritted his teeth, glaring at her as he grabbed her wrist forcefully. ”Xia Xiaonuan, what is Liang Shaochen to you that you protect him so much?” His face turned pale with rage, his eyes bulging in anger.

Xia Xiaonuan struggled and shouted, ”I care because I like him! What of it? You can go see Jiang Xue, but I’m not allowed to like another man?” Xia Xiaonuan said this deliberately to infuriate him.

Upon hearing this, Nangong Yaoling’s body temperature immediately dropped to freezing.

His forehead veins throbbed as he laughed angrily.

”Xia Xiaonuan, do you realize how childish you are?”

”I’m childish?” Xia Xiaonuan rolled her eyes in exasperation. ”Nangong Yaoling, who’s the one who imprisoned someone? Am I immature or are you? What did Liang Shaochen do to deserve being locked up by you?”

”His mistake was seducing my woman!”

”Your woman?” Xia Xiaonuan felt an intense revulsion at what she was beginning to understand. She gritted her teeth and sneered with disdain, ”Nangong Yaoling, how many women have you had? Are you talking about Jiang Xue, or me? Or some model or celebrity? Do you think all the women in the world are yours and other men can’t touch them?”

Nangong Yaoling’s fingers trembled lightly, verging on an outburst. ”Xia Xiaonuan, you know exactly who I’m talking about! Besides, what do you mean? Did Liang Shaochen touch you? Where did he touch you? Tell me!” He shook her body and shouted.

”I don’t know who you’re talking about!” Xia Xiaonuan stared at him fearlessly. ”Yes, he touched me. Now, my whole body belongs to him! Nangong Yaoling, you found women outside, but you demand that I remain chaste for you? It’s the twenty-first century! How are you still so immature and out of touch?”

”What did you say? You belong to him? Xia Xiaonuan, do you dare to say it again? Do you believe that with one phone call, Liang Shaochen won’t live to see another day?”

Xia Xiaonuan was trembling with anger.

She forcefully pushed Nangong Yaoling away. ”You’re a dictator, a tyrant!” With eyes red and glaring at him, she said, ”What right do you have to control who I belong to? Can you swear that nothing happened between you and Jiang Xue? I’m telling you, if you dare to hurt him, I will never forgive you!”

”I... We never did anything!” Nangong Yaoling retorted through gritted teeth.

Although he had been seeing Jiang Xue frequently during this period, nothing had ever happened between them! Except for that one night a few months ago... But even that night, he himself had no idea if anything had happened.
