The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 653: Chapter 655: She Has to Be Jealous No Matter What

He looked up at the clock. Oh no, is Zhongli coming?

Zhongli loves cleanliness so much, if she sees him like this, she’ll definitely hate him more and more.

No way. He quickly took off his apron, stripped off his T-shirt, and rushed into the bathroom.

As he hurriedly shampooed his hair and body, the doorbell suddenly rang.

Qin Yi’s eyes widened.

So soon... Has she arrived already?

Nangong Zhongli stood outside, looking at the door number. Right, this is the address that Qin Yi gave her!

This man, is he playing with her?

She pressed the doorbell several times, then banged on the door: ”Qin Yi! Open the door!”

Qin Yi heard Nangong Zhongli’s voice while still rinsing off, shouted: ”Coming!! I’m coming!”

He quickly finished his shower, briskly dried his hair, didn’t give it much thought, and wrapped a towel around his lower body before rushing out.

He went to the living room and opened the door.

Nangong Zhongli, about to burst into anger, was suddenly greeted by the smell of shampoo as the door opened.

She then saw Qin Yi standing there, **** his upper body, with only a towel wrapped around his lower body. The man had a fairly upright figure, with a darker skin tone but very masculine. Years of exercise and working out had developed his chest muscles.

His hair was wet, making him look different from his usual serious and calm self, especially with those somewhat panicked eyes that surprisingly carried a hint of sexy cuteness.

Nangong Zhongli: ”...”

Qin Yi looked at her, a trace of embarrassment flashing across his face, and smiled: ”You... You’re here...”

For some reason, seeing him like this made her suddenly think of that night at the hotel.

Her face turned red immediately, she looked away angrily, and said: ”Were you... taking a shower?”

”Yes... but I’m done now. Please, come in...” Qin Yi said somewhat incoherently, stepping aside.

Nangong Zhongli raised her chin and walked in past him.

Once inside, she glanced around. There was a faint aroma of food and tea lingering in the air. Apparently, he was indeed cooking as he said.

Without waiting for Qin Yi to greet her, she walked directly to the sofa and sat down, having a queen-like demeanor.

Qin Yi smiled and said: ”Would you like something to drink...”

”Bayberry juice.” Nangong Zhongli said coldly. She recently craved sour things.

Unexpectedly, Qin Yi paused and then awkwardly said: ”Don’t have that...”

Nangong Zhongli: ”...”

”Apple cider vinegar will do.”

”Don’t have that either...”

Nangong Zhongli: ”...”

”Um... I think there’s only mineral water and alcohol in the fridge...” He never drank beverages and hardly had any girls over at home. So naturally, he didn’t have those things women liked.

He found it odd, though. Why did Nangong Zhongli want something sour?

Nangong Zhongli’s face darkened a bit, just about to speak, when suddenly a white Persian cat appeared in front of her. It climbed onto her lap and meowed at her.

Her eyes lit up, reaching out to hold the cat: ”What a cute cat. What’s its name?”

Qin Yi awkwardly said: ”This cat was given by a friend, it doesn’t have a name. Sometimes, I just call it Mimi.”

Nangong Zhongli reached out to pet Mimi, and Qin Yi nervously watched her slender and delicate fingers: ”Be careful of it scratching you.”
