The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 9: Chapter 9: Scared to Pee, Song Ci Wants to Die

The next day, Song Ci woke up, and the simple green canopy came into view. She couldn’t help but sigh in resignation.

She probably couldn’t go back.

She pulled the rope by the bedside, and the crisp sound of bells rang out, immediately causing a stir outside the screen.

Nanny Gong led the maidservants in a line, and upon seeing Song Ci sitting on the bed, she said with a smile, ”The Old Lord is awake, Madam has brought the children and is waiting outside.”

”Waiting for what?” Song Ci looked confused.

Nanny Gong: ”Last night, you went to bed early and excused them from greeting you. Are you letting them go back today too?”

Song Ci was momentarily stunned, then she remembered that in ancient times there was a saying of morning and evening greetings, meaning the younger generation had to greet the elders, it was filial piety.

And yesterday, she had just transmigrated into the original body, feeling weak both in body and mind. Even just dealing with a Madam required her to act tough to put the other party at ease, where would she find the energy to act for them?

Thinking she was the Old Lord now, Song Ci decided to go all out, not feeling awkward, simply asking, ”What time is it?”

”It’s the third quarter of the hour of the rabbit, the Old Lord got up later today.” Nanny Gong assisted her to the cleaning room.

Song Ci silently calculated the time, which meant it was about five to six in the morning?

She got up late today; weren’t these people usually waiting to greet her at five? Now in April, it was manageable, but in winter, just thinking about it felt cold.

Seems she needed to make some changes, she didn’t want to get up early either.

”Old Lord, this servant will brush your teeth now.” Hong Ju approached with a willow branch dipped in green salt towards Song Ci’s mouth.

Song Ci instinctively opened her mouth, and Hong Ju’s ’toothbrush’ came in, her movements gentle and careful.

After brushing her teeth, water was brought to her lips for rinsing, and after a swirl, she spat into a blue and white porcelain jar held by a maidservant. A warm towel was then placed on her face, followed by scented cream.

Song Ci felt like floating.

Is this the perk of being the Old Lord?

It’s simply being a useless person who has everything done for them.

But she thoroughly enjoyed it.

Song Ci was leisurely helped to the latrine, and Hong Ju started untying her waist to remove her pants, which Song Ci quickly caught hold of.

”What are you doing?”

Hong Ju was startled: ”Old Lord, don’t you need to use the chamber pot?”

Only then did Song Ci look behind her, seeing a wooden frame that looked like a toilet seat covered with dark red silk, with a clean chamber pot underneath, lined with plant ash, a simple seated toilet.

Next to the toilet, there was a small redwood table with a tray holding several clean bamboo slips and a stack of dark yellow straw paper.

Looking at those toilet supplies, Song Ci’s heart raced, her mind feeling a bit dizzy.

”Take all those bamboo slips away from now on.” Song Ci, with shaky fingers, pointed at the smooth bamboo slips; she really couldn’t imagine using them to go to the toilet.

Everyone looked at each other, but with a glance from Nanny Gong, a servant went forward and took the bamboo slips away.

”All of you leave, I can do it myself.” Song Ci instructed as she looked at Hong Ju and the others.

Hong Ju became a bit anxious and looked at Nanny Gong; what was wrong with the Old Lord?

Nanny Gong said, ”Old Lord, let the old servant serve you instead.”

Song Ci’s expression turned bitter, wanting to say that she wasn’t accustomed to using the toilet in front of people.

”No, I can manage on my own.” She waved her hand vigorously, but with the movement, her weak body wobbled a bit and almost fell forward, frightening Nanny Gong into quickly supporting her.

Song Ci was also startled, and with the scare, her bladder contracted and released, warmth spreading between her legs, and the sound of water droplets falling onto the floor was heard.

Song Ci’s body froze, glancing down to see her snow-white underpants damp and spreading wetness.

Aaaaaaah, she wanted to die!
