Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Beitang Yao sneered, pulling away his hand. Her words were like an invisible dagger, ruthlessly stabbing his heart. Did this foolish woman even realize that Beitang Huan’s love for him was not simply sibling affection, but a twisted love!

This kind of love, he absolutely didn’t need! Right now, Xia Qingqian, this worrisome woman, had already left him utterly exhausted, where would he find the time to concern himself with other women?

”Xia Qingqian, do you think you know everything? You can barely keep your own life, yet you’re still worrying about others. Are you too noble for your own good?” He glared at her coldly, then commanded, ”Close your eyes and sleep now!”

She had just woken up; how could he bear to let her tire herself out by keeping her eyes open like this? The doctor had also said she needed proper rest, and looking at her but not being able to touch her was truly an ordeal! So, letting her eat well and sleep quietly was the best choice, otherwise, he might forget she was injured and disregard the doctor’s instructions.

He was genuinely afraid of his own suppressed desire for her.

Xia Qingqian’s hand fell heavily onto the bed. Even though the bed was soft, the suddenness still made her groan softly in discomfort. Her mouth twitched slightly, then she turned her back, closed her eyes, and drifted off with a sense of dull pain.

How could she possibly sleep now?

When she thought Beitang Yao had already left, she shifted her body slightly, and upon opening her eyes, she was startled!

”Why are you still here?” Had he not left for even a moment?

”I knew you wouldn’t settle down. What are you thinking about? Why aren’t you sleeping?” As he sat down, the bed sank with him, and he reached out to play with her smooth hair.

When his hand inadvertently touched the skin of her neck, her whole body shivered. She unconsciously moved to one side.

”What? Are you thinking about resisting me?” Beitang Yao pulled the quilt up to her chest, saying calmly, ”Now you should rest, and don’t think about anything else.”

”Young Master Yao, I’m not tired. Lying here feels uncomfortable all over. Can you let me get up and walk around a bit?” She pleaded softly. Even though she didn’t know how long she had been sleeping, her whole body felt uncomfortable, and the more she slept like this, the softer her bones became.

Without a word, Beitang Yao lifted her off the bed. When Xia Qingqian regained her senses, her cheeks turned crimson, and her eyes dreamily gazed at Beitang Yao’s handsome profile. For a brief moment, she was dazed.

He carried her to the Sky Garden; his room opened directly to it. He carried her through the flower pool, placed her on a recliner, pulled a nearby towel over her, and gently covered her. Then, he instructed the servants nearby to take good care of Xia Qingqian and not to let anyone disturb her.

After giving these instructions, Beitang Yao turned back to her, gazing deeply as he said, ”I have to go back to the company to handle some matters and will come back early tonight to see you. You are not to go anywhere, not even downstairs! If you’re hungry, let Sister Huan cook for you. If you’re uncomfortable in any way, remember to call Ye Feng.”

He spoke neither hurriedly nor slowly, yet his tone carried an unquestionable authority! Xia Qingqian stared at him in a daze, unable to utter a single word.
