One-Eyed Monster

Princess Juliette’s conversation this time didn’t last very long. Everyone knew time was precious and couldn’t afford any delay, so after understanding Princess Juliette’s plan, everyone began to take action.

Igor and Kadi discovered that Princess Juliette’s plan was as different from theirs as night and day. They were always focused on immediate matters, never thinking so deeply, their vision was always short-sighted. Compared to Princess Juliette, they were indeed much weaker.

Now, Igor and Kadi’s admiration for Princess Juliette had reached a new level, treating her as if she were a divine being.

Furthermore, they held great reverence for the people of the Kayne royal family and were eager to meet the king of Kayne Empire. They thought that if Princess Juliette was already this remarkable, then the king of Kayne Empire must be even more formidable. This made them very invested in the matter, and they were very committed to the entire rescue plan.

The rescue, broadly speaking, was to save the entire world, all of humanity. A little closer, it was to save the whole Kayne Empire, to save all the people of this nation. Right in front of them, it was to save the king of Kayne Empire, to save all of Xinbal. Even more specific, right now it was about rescuing Xiso, to release this strategist as the key to the entire plan.

The goal of the whole operation was just that; whether the Kangen Family or the Wizard Alliance, any organization that Princess Juliette could control was exerting its utmost efforts. Everyone had to cover for Igor and Kadi.

Even the plants were cooperating with Igor and Kadi, slowly infiltrating towards the direction of the Alchemy Workshop’s test site.

According to the plan, Bigas and her group would directly provoke the Alchemy Workshop in broad daylight. Given Bigas’s current status, her appearance would definitely attract the attention of the master experts at the Alchemy Workshop.

After all, no one could ignore the six wise mages of the Wizard Alliance.

Bigas, as per the prearranged plan, had already taken a group to the Alchemy Workshop to provoke and challenge it. Presumably, it wouldn’t be long before there would be a significant stir.

The Kangen Family was also preparing. They immediately received Princess Juliette’s proposal and gave up the palace plan, joining forces with the Wizard Alliance to head to the Alchemy Workshop and cooperate with Bigas in attacking.

There would inevitably be a fierce battle, as the Golden Seats of the Alchemy Workshop were not to be trifled with, all possessing remarkable skills…

They were risking everything to clash with the Alchemy Workshop, just to cover for Kadi and Igor’s actions.

They had to let Kadi and Igor slip into that test site unnoticed and rescue Xiso…

So right now, Igor and Kadi were like two invisible men who had disappeared; no one could find them, and no one knew where they were.

They weren’t just being covered by so many people; they were also being covered by a bunch of plants.

These plants were all spirit items of Princess Juliette, now serving Igor and Kadi.

”I thought these plants would make a hidden path for us, but who would have thought they’d let us walk such a conspicuous avenue!”

Although Kadi knew these plants were amazing, he was still dissatisfied with the current situation.

”Though you say that, there is a big difference, Kadi, you must observe closely!” Igor wasn’t like Kadi; his observations were rather detailed, unlike Kadi, who only noticed the superficial.

Igor was very clear in his mind seeing all of this; these plants were not ordinary, each was a spirit-conducting object.

Of course, Kadi didn’t realize that walking so brazenly on this street, no one could detect him at all.

Not only was his figure concealed by these plants, but the spirit power remnants on them had also disappeared entirely. They were two completely invisible guys walking down this road now.

If one did not carefully track them, it really was difficult to discover their whereabouts.

All of this was thanks to these plants. The trees, flowers, and grass used various methods to cloak their tracks and cleared the traces of their presence. One could say these trees, flowers, and grass applied a new layer of disguise, making it impossible to notice any changes on them. Moreover, these plants would often emit various scents to disrupt the original aura; this method of confusion was indeed remarkable.

Igor thought they were now even better at hiding their tracks than a hunter, almost divine.

”We are moving so openly; aren’t we afraid that people from the Alchemy Workshop will notice?” Kadi still hadn’t caught onto the subtlety of the situation.

”Don’t worry; we’re like the air now, though we exist, no one can see us,” Igor said.

”Hmm?” Kadi still didn’t quite understand.

”Haha, you don’t know, do you? We are hiding in plain sight now.”

”What do you mean?”

”These flowers and trees are all covering for us.”

”What kind of cover can these things provide? Don’t joke around,” Kadi still didn’t see anything special.

”Oh, I forgot you can’t see spirit power.” Igor smacked his forehead; he was too careless, forgetting that Kadi had this particular condition.

It’s important to know that what Kadi could see was all direct; he had never been able to see spirit power; he could only see the direct energy flow.

”Kadi, take a closer look; see if these flowers and trees are emitting energy.”

Following Igor’s hint, Kadi did see that the flowers and trees were indeed emitting energy, more or less, and this energy flow was somewhat similar to what they were emanating.

These flowers and trees were indeed synchronizing their energy with theirs.

Kadi instantly understood what was happening; this was how it was all working out.

The energy fluctuations of the flowers and trees were perfectly synchronized with theirs, thus concealing their tracks…

”This method is indeed fantastic!”

”And it’s all thanks to you, Kadi,” Igor said.

”Hmm?” Kadi still didn’t get it.

”Because of your unique devouring power, Kadi!” Igor explained, ”Otherwise, why else would we be the suitable ones, if not for your blue flame?”

”This flame…”

”Yes, the flame; it absorbs all this energy, making everything look similar, in the same rhythm, and indistinguishable.”

”Uh, this is too mystical.”

”If it’s not mystical, how can it be called a magical power!”
