One-Eyed Monster

Now, I finally understand a little bit. Bigas is at the top among the Soul Guardians, so when something happened at Guru Mountain, she was the first to rush over. Of course, a significant reason for her coming over was Xiso.

Fortunately, Igor also knows a Soul Guardian. That’s Estev. Currently, this Soul Guardian has lost his identity because the secret he was guarding was exposed, and he chose to station himself at Guru Mountain.

This kind of decision requires a lot of courage. Naturally, in Igor’s eyes, Guru Mountain is indeed worth staying for.

Igor has sent back a lot of messages to Guru Mountain, hoping to get guidance from the seniors there.

The reply from Guru Mountain was a bit late because they didn’t use Mail Birds to communicate with them. Initially, Igor didn’t understand why the seniors abandoned such a good communication tool as Mail Birds, but after reading the letters, he realized the reason.

Igor naturally conveyed this message to the Kangen Family, which drew everyone’s attention.

Because Mail Birds can be controlled, they can be intercepted by the Alchemy Workshop, leading to a leak of their messages, causing all plans to be disrupted by the Alchemy Workshop.

However, the matter had already happened, and they didn’t have much ability to change the occurrence, nor did they want to change. They wouldn’t call red black and didn’t wish to deny their actions.

In fact, they were waiting for the Alchemy Workshop to provoke something. As long as the Alchemy Workshop acted, they would have a reason to retaliate, allowing almost the entire plan to proceed.

Unfortunately, the Alchemy Workshop remained inactive, seeming to consider their actions as normal operations...

This made them feel perplexed. Why could the Alchemy Workshop remain so calm? Why was there no action from them at all? This was extremely unusual, leaving everyone puzzled.

Luckily, they were not the type to act impulsively and wouldn’t get upset due to the enemy’s inaction. During this perplexing period, they continued to follow their plans, moving forward step by step.

Of course, the letter from Guru Mountain also mentioned that the entire Guru Mountain is in an abnormal state now, with spirit power fluctuations in many places, like something about to emerge from beneath the mountain. Such changes naturally attracted Igor’s attention, considering Guru Mountain is a magical place, bearing too many energy waves, as if it is a portal connecting two worlds.

Due to the abnormal spirit power fluctuations at Guru Mountain, the monsters on the mountain were not idle. They originally planned to go to Xinbal to rescue Xiso but now have to abandon that plan because they need to protect Guru Mountain.

The seniors emphasized multiple times in their letters that Xiso must be saved.

Igor took this matter to heart. He would rescue Xiso, but certainly not now, as they had more important things to accomplish.

Igor decided to ask about Soul Guardian matters this time, hoping Estev could reply soon.

Oh, now they have a new way of transmitting messages, through Princess Juliette’s magical plants.

These plants are a little slower than Mail Birds but safer and much quicker than ordinary methods...

Igor wrote down his questions and current findings, then infused spirit power into the plant, hoping it would transmit the message quickly.

The situation remained complicated because all Soul Guardians went with Bigas to guard a grave, raising issues as the line they were exploring had been cut.

”I hope Estev can give us a clear answer,” Igor sighed.

”Now, this line is broken in front of us; we have to approach from another angle.”

”How to approach?” Igor found Will Kangen’s words puzzling since their plans revolved around the Soul Guardians, and now that they had disappeared, how could they find the entry point again?

”We all know that the Soul Guardian team followed Bigas to guard a grave, don’t we?” Will Kangen prompted.

”That’s what they say, but we aren’t sure how accurate this information is!” Kadi remarked from the side.

”This news was conveyed back by the Soul Guardians themselves, and we also learned from some Crows that the Alchemy Workshop just found out about this!” Will Kangen continued, having a clear grasp of the entire situation.

”You mean we approach from a different angle to retrieve information about the Soul Guardians?”

”Correct!” Will Kangen was appreciative of Igor’s understanding—quick and very accurate.

”Does that mean we need to find the grave?” Igor continued to ask!

”You guessed it right; we need to go to that grave.”

This grave’s location is entirely unknown to us; how exactly do we reach it?” Kadi was quite shocked by this, constantly unsure of what these people were thinking.

Igor remained relatively calm, being clearer than Kadi about what the Kangen Family and he were doing.

”But Bigas is a Holy Robe; she has the speed of a Holy Robe, a speed we can’t match. Although I know the Kangen Family has many Holy Robes, my point is the speed of a Holy Robe can cover vast distances.”

”I understand your meaning, but you should know that the Soul Guardian team isn’t just a number; relying solely on one Holy Robe cannot take so many people.”

”Hmm...” Igor understood Will Kangen’s implication, suggesting the entire Soul Guardian team moved independently to the grave, rather than being led there by Bigas.

”Moreover, we should also know that if Bigas appeared on Bayes Avenue, the Kangen Family couldn’t remain unaware; even if we didn’t know, Elder Pete would definitely sense it.” Will Kangen continued explaining, with thorough insights into the matter.

”According to this, the Soul Guardians wouldn’t have gone far in these few days, meaning the grave should be in Xinbal.”

”Smart!” Will Kangen smiled, seeing Igor’s perceptiveness.

”That way, we can find Bigas!”

”The entire Soul Guardian team has mobilized, indicating the place is under extreme attack,” Will Kangen stated, having analyzed the situation further.

The substantial effort Bigas made to appear clearly meant protecting something important.

Now that the Soul Guardians have begun to guard, as a member of the Kangen Family, they must now help the Soul Guardians protect those things...
