Our Family Has Fallen

Letting her throw a few punches was no big deal for Lance; he considered it a way for her to vent. But then she made a very dangerous move.

Seeing no other option, Boudica went for Lance’s groin. Was that something you could just do?

It instantly enraged Lance!

He raised his hand to block, and if it had been someone else, a single kick would have ended them.

Lance grabbed her clothes and shouted angrily, ”Had enough?”

But Boudica didn’t stop. In a reckless move, she grabbed Lance’s arm with both hands, flipped over, and used the momentum, her legs off the ground as she moved to strangle Lance’s neck. She clearly intended to break his arm.

She changed her move quickly, but she was facing Lance.

With his other hand, Lance caught her thigh, leaving her unable to complete the hold with only one leg attempting to maneuver.

Instead, as Lance applied force with his fingers, her thigh muscles couldn’t withstand the pressure, immediately cramping, causing her to go limp.

Yet Lance obviously didn’t intend to let her go; dealing with such a person required a harsh lesson.

No beast dared to bare its teeth at him!

The room was only so big, so Lance simply lifted her and pinned her on the bed. Hitting her elsewhere could cause damage that he’d have to use his Spiritual Essence to repair; it was more straightforward to spank her hard.

”Do you give up?”

”Ah!” Boudica wasn’t one to easily submit, struggling wildly.

”Smack!”

Under Lance’s powerful suppression, she could only hit the bed frame, the continuous sounds resonating through the room, making it seem like they were tearing down the place.

The courage brought by alcohol was, after all, an illusion; the recent flurry of movement somewhat restored her reason.

”Boss, boss! I give up.”

Lance grinned broadly, this little one dared to try…

But just as Lance let go, Boudica closed in, suddenly pulling the unsuspecting Lance onto the bed.

Boudica pressed close, trying to hold his neck and use the ground to level the playing field.

Even the fiercest beast, once dragged to the ground and its limbs lifted, would panic, awaiting the hunter to break its neck.

But Lance’s strength wasn’t so easily contained; he swiftly reversed the situation and locked her from behind.

In this instant reversal, the captured beast instead became her, leaving her dumbfounded. Not even alcohol could sustain her now.

”I give up! I give up!” Feeling the warmth of the body against her, Boudica seemed to remember something.

But Lance hadn’t even been serious earlier; he’d been playing with her.

Yet this recent action completely ignited the fire within him.

The one deciding the fight was never the prey.

”I gave you a chance~”

Such close combat made contact unavoidable; Boudica wasn’t wearing thick clothes now, just a thin, simple hospital gown.

The sensation of her well-trained body was entirely different, brimming with power and vitality.

Lance initially hadn’t found a way to vent the frustrations from Grendel, and this provocation made him want to teach her a hard lesson!

There was always a price for reckless behavior, and under his immense strength, Boudica had no room to resist.

Conquering a cunning lioness was challenging, but Lance had enough confidence.

Taming a beast began with breaking down its barriers and building relationships through feeding.

Don’t be eager to feed the meat immediately; let it hang in front of the lioness. During this process, you could continuously stroke its firm fur, feeling the strong muscles beneath.

Once the lioness salivates and opens its mouth, insert it then; otherwise, it might choke.

When the lioness eats, it gets distracted, and that’s the best opportunity to gain control because taming a beast meant proving you’re stronger, and approaching from behind is relatively safer for an agile lioness.

Ride on to tire her out, and you must hold on tightly, because hunter and prey roles could reverse anytime; you must be cautious of the lioness flipping over.

Once she tires a certain degree, sensing her emotional changes, you can try other maneuvers, probing the depth in your interaction with the lioness.

But this was just the beginning; one piece of meat couldn’t satisfy her. Filling her adequately was necessary to prevent further disturbances, which was itself a fierce struggle, as the stronger beasts were harder to satiate.

Fortunately, Lance was an experienced beast tamer, with enough strength to deal with the lioness and plenty of meat to satisfy her…

”So, do you give up?”

Lance adjusted his pants casually and looked back at Boudica on the bed as if she had experienced a fierce battle, lying there only breathing heavily.

Her face flushed, sweat even dampening the red hair at her temples, which looked slightly disheveled. Her firm muscles softened from exhaustion.

After a while, she moved slightly, her gaze no longer wild, but not innocent either, appearing dazed, processing the fierce fight just now.

”Boss, did you beat Miss Dai’er too?”

”How is this beating?” This question stumped Lance, the previously arrogant expression collapsing, looking somewhat embarrassed as he had to explain.

”I think it’s necessary to inform you of some basic biological and ethical knowledge…”

”I was shocked the first time I bled down there, boss knows more than the Elder.” Boudica said, sounding proud, ”No wonder those guys in the tribe always wanted to sleep with me, but none could beat me.”

In the tribe, strength was pursued regardless of gender, but Boudica was too strong, her peers unable to match her.

Before coming of age, she joined the battle group, fleeing in her first battle, getting banished by the tribe, wandering and fighting in the Mountains until Lance saved her. These concepts were unfamiliar her whole life.

”Correct, those tribe guys deserved a good beating!” Lance agreed casually since it wasn’t him they were fighting.

Boudica had good stamina, but even she couldn’t withstand Lance’s terrifying endurance, soon falling asleep while talking.

Lance tidied up the battlefield briefly and then left.

He had to admit, Boudica’s waist was really something, having trained made a difference.

...

”I didn’t expect to see you again so soon.” Lance said with a smile, walking into the cell where Lawrence was sitting on the bed.

Frankly, he didn’t expect it to be so soon. After all, Lawrence had endured Amanda’s drug interrogation, acting so loyal before, and Lance thought it would take more time for him to crack.

Lance didn’t expect him to ask to see him just this evening after seeing his daughter in the morning.

It seemed loyalty in this feudal nobility system wasn’t as steadfast as the Knight’s Oath claimed.

Lawrence looked at Lance’s smiling face, wanting to punch him, but could only take a deep breath to suppress the urge.

”What do you want to let Margaret go?”

”That’s not right. I have never restricted her movement nor harmed her, I even saved her. How am I supposed to let her go?”

Lawrence was silenced by Lance’s remark.

Because that was a fact, Margaret could even come in to bring him food, showing no sign of being under control.

Yet Lawrence knew this was the cunning lord’s scheme, using him to manipulate his daughter, and vice versa, making Lance appear benevolent.

But he had no grounds to accuse him, forced to grit his teeth and remain silent.

Seeing this, Lance knew he was still somewhat resentful.

Unlike Reynard, who learned his lessons through hardships, Lawrence had smooth sailing, known as one of the Earl’s right-hand men, a top three figure in Bastia, renowned for battling the Barbarian Tribes.

If not for his downfall in Hamlet, he’d still be a feudal lord lavishing his domain.

Making him submit instantly was impossible unless Lance was a novel’s protagonist, and even then, it’d be a hard sell.

Otherwise, such an honor-bound, rigid man was like a tough nut.

But to Lance, all this was laughable. What era was this? And they were still clinging to traditional feudalism?
