Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!

Chapter 482: Chapter 482: Mr. Yun’s Fan Club

Hu Lingling knows Qin Xin’s personality all too well. If she doesn’t remind her, this big sister would definitely leave without a trace once her performance is over.

”Sure, okay.”

Qin Xin hung up the phone and looked at Xiangxiang, who had a bewildered expression.

It’s hard to tell how much Xiangxiang heard just now, but it doesn’t matter. What she said wasn’t some big secret, and as for the oboe, Xiangxiang had seen her play before. Didn’t she perform a piece at the Imperial University New Year’s dance party?

”Um, I have something to do tonight, so Xiangbao, you can plan your activities. By the way, if you have time tonight, could you bake some animal-shaped snacks? The ones you made in the iron pot for Master Tuantuan before, with really fragrant cheese.”

”Miss, do you want to eat them? I can go back to the canteen and bake them for you right now.”

”No rush. They’re not for me, save them for tomorrow.”

”Alright, Miss!”

Xiangxiang agreed happily. Being able to cook for the young miss and receive her high praise was simply too wonderful.

It’s just not clear who these snacks are for, if not for herself.

Imperial Music Hall.

The New Year’s concert every year is a grand event.

The most outstanding ensembles of the empire gather here to present the audience with a top-notch audio-visual feast.

The Lark Orchestra is the youngest among them and has won the most national awards in recent years.

What is even more commendable is that the Lark Orchestra is made up of students from Imperial University, who are not professional musicians but have achievements that rival professional musicians. This has attracted a lot of loyal fans for the Lark Orchestra, the majority being ’mom fans’.

Qin Xin, wearing a school uniform and a green hat, was less than a hundred meters from the entrance of the music hall when she saw a lively commotion at the door.

A fan group had spontaneously printed a long banner and was holding it up for a group photo at the entrance to the music hall.

A smiling middle-aged lady was directing everyone to line up: ”Lift the banner a bit higher, more to the left... Yes, and our chief conductor’s plaque should be at position C!”

Mr. Yun, the leader and chief conductor of the Lark Orchestra, has especially many fans.

Last year, everyone was very disappointed that they didn’t see him at the concert, so this year they came early, hoping to see Mr. Yun personally conduct.

Actually, all the audience gets from a conductor is just a figure from behind.

But for some reason, Mr. Yun’s figure is more imposing, slim yet firm, and emotionally powerful compared to other conductors.

His baton seems to have a magical power, capable of stirring the deepest emotions in people.

This middle-aged lady at the moment is the leader of Mr. Yun’s fan group, and she’d definitely come to support any performance by the Lark Orchestra.

From a distance, Qin Xin spotted the lady, slightly surprised, her lips slightly parted: ”Mrs. Nalan...”

She actually came to the concert?

Qin Xin pulled her hat brim lower and hurried into the music hall through the side door.

Backstage.

Everyone was nervously and busily preparing.

Especially the newcomers responsible for a few pieces towards the end of the concert, just before the audience leaves. They were all eagerly hoping to seize the opportunity to join the orchestra, each holding their instruments and practicing continuously.

Qin Wenrou, who was going to play the piano, couldn’t practice backstage, so she mimicked playing the piano with her hands in the air.

Beside her, Mrs. Qin was holding her heavy clothes and music score bag, looking at her lovingly: ”Wenrou, don’t worry, you are definitely the best, and the orchestra will surely want you. Take a break, don’t wear yourself out.”
