I AM the Football Star

The revival of the Italian Cup is the first big success during Martivini’s tenure, it’s his hallmark!

December 4th, the 15th round of Serie A.

Lu Yang was suspended with a red card, and Morici had a minor ankle injury, so to be safe, he also didn’t play.

As a result... San Remo’s form indeed hadn’t bounced back.

They faced their first defeat after four consecutive big wins.

Talista regained his form, scoring twice to bring the score to two to three.

Canyes and Fernandez assisted him.

But without Lu Yang, San Remo lacked the final touch to seal the deal.

After losing this match, San Remo, who had climbed to second in the league, once again fell to fourth.

On the same day, Serie A announced the best player for November.

Without a doubt, this honor still belonged to Lu Yang.

November was his most dominant month.

In this month, he was fiercer than all the football clubs in the world.

The only one who could compare was Real Madrid, the Galaxy Battleship.

This was also the first time someone had consecutively won the Serie A Player of the Month three times.

Lu Yang set a new record, neither too big nor too small.

”Ding! You have consecutively won the Serie A Player of the Month three times, earning a chance for a random attribute breakthrough (90).”

”Ding! Your balance attribute has increased from 84 to 90.”

This honor improved Lu Yang’s balance attribute.

The balance ability refers to a player’s control over their body and the strength of their core power.

Players with stronger balance are less likely to fall over, less likely to be tackled down, and often can jump to dodge opponents’ attacks.

Messi is one of the players with extremely strong balance ability, facing double teams as if doing drunk boxing.

Lu Yang’s strong physique already possessed great hard confrontation ability.

Now with his improved balance, his soft confrontation ability also got enhanced.

Combined with his dribbling and speed, it’s now almost tough to knock Lu Yang down when he’s running.

Unless the opponent fouls maliciously.

Describing Lu Yang as triumphant is not an exaggeration.

He showed people that apart from obeying awards and winning them for a boost in fame and recognition, taking a tough stance can also earn respect.

Even... the awarding body acknowledged it.

Though the subsequent suppression seems not small.

But at least Lu Yang has profited enough during this period.

Such conduct is extremely undesirable.

Therefore, after the Golden Ball Award concluded, French Football also openly showed some... hostility towards Lu Yang.

You disgust me, I can be disgusting too.

French Football: ”In the final round of the Champions League group stage, everyone should be wary of match-fixing, especially in Group D.”

”Group D currently, from high to low, are San Remo, Sporting Lisbon, Sevilla, and Arsenal, with ten, seven, five, and five points respectively.”

”In the final round, San Remo VS Arsenal, Sporting Lisbon VS Sevilla.”

”Once Sporting Lisbon fails to win the game, Arsenal will have a chance to advance.”

”The key to these two matches isn’t Sporting Lisbon and Sevilla. If Sevilla beats Sporting Lisbon, they also have a high chance to advance from the group, so they will definitely fight desperately. It’s a life-or-death battle for both parties.”

”But things between San Remo and Arsenal are full of intrigue!”

”It’s well-known that San Remo’s Lu Yang is quite favored by Mr. Winter. Arsenal once tried to buy Lu Yang, and even this year there were rumors about Arsenal and Lu Yang.”

”Lu Yang has a strong personal relationship with Mr. Winter, even closely associating with Mr. Winter’s daughter beyond football.”

”All things considered, it’s hard not to doubt the integrity of this match. Will Lu Yang go all out?”

”If San Remo deliberately pulls punches, causing Arsenal to take the three points, hence affecting the second place in the group and the UEFA Europa League spot, is this match fair?”

”Is there any transaction beyond personal relations involved?”

French Football raised a very thought-provoking question.

Their malicious intent definitely goes beyond their explicit words.

A very simple logic.

The teams that have advanced, especially those that have secured the first in the group, can’t they train players?

Can’t they rotate players?

Of course, they can!

But now, French Football is pressuring San Remo to go all out.

If someone gets carded or injured in this match, it will greatly affect San Remo’s knockout matches.

Even not considering this, the relationship between San Remo and Arsenal might be disturbed.

Many friendships can’t withstand the knock of interests.

Whether Arsenal plays in the Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, or nothing at all, largely depends on San Remo.

All of a sudden, the San Remo team, initially believed to inevitably be eliminated, now controls the second qualifying spot in the group.

This...

Soon, Mr. Winter from Arsenal responded to French Football’s questioning.

Winter: ”Arsenal never plays tacit ball games, nor will we privately influence the fairness of the competition. My relationship with Lu Yang is indeed great, but is this not allowed by any rule?”

”If the football world doesn’t allow opponent teams to have friends, why not just establish a rule for friends to avoid?”

”Doubting the integrity of the San Remo and Arsenal match is not only an insult to football but also reveals their habitual thinking.”
