I AM the Football Star

But there are many core forwards whose form isn’t good, and they can’t score despite three or forty shots, leading the team to struggle with offensive power during such times.

Therefore, from the team’s perspective, they hope to have multiple reliable scorers to prevent a scoring drought.

However, this setup essentially deprives a shooter of unlimited firing rights.

Here, unlimited firing rights don’t mean shooting whenever you want, but literally continuous shooting, where everyone else only passes the ball!

The former is the first level of unlimited firing rights, while the latter is the second level, more advanced.

Top stars actually dislike having their unlimited firing rights infringed, regardless of the level.

Yet, Lu Yang actually isn’t obsessed with unlimited firing rights.

Because the whole team creating unlimited firing rights for him can boost his stats, but actually his high-order data decreases.

This decrease not only binds the team’s fortune solely to him, but also leads to a drop in form for other team members.

In usual matches it doesn’t matter, but in crucial strong matches, relying solely on Lu Yang without strong teammates’ assistance becomes risky.

He doesn’t have that many Moment Cards.

So after consulting with Lola about recent data, Lu Yang is searching for a chance to ”spread the power”.

To appropriately pass the firing rights to other teammates.

But this is a technical art, requiring careful consideration.

It definitely can’t be now.

Right now, the whole team is united to help Brother Lu hit back at the Golden Ball Award, so if Brother Lu suddenly says ”It’s bad for me to score alone, let’s all shoot together,” honestly, it would harm the morale.

At least outsiders would think Lu Yang is chickening out.

Lu Yang knows his form won’t last long, so he’s making a dignified retreat, seemingly sharing the ball rights, but actually preparing excuses for a potential scoring drought.

Even teammates might feel Brother Lu isn’t strong enough, questioning Lu Yang’s leadership.

Right, Talista?

If this continues, good things will turn bad.

Lu Yang, with such high emotional intelligence, naturally won’t let that happen.

So, even knowing his and the team’s efficiency is declining, he has to hold on for some time.

When fans and teammates think you should be tough, as a player, you must rise to the occasion.

Only then can you transform into their idol, receiving their unconditional support.

If you lower your flag when they think you should fight against evil forces, you’d disappoint them.

Previously mentioned, there are several types of fans.

A large portion of die-hard fans entrust things they want to do but don’t dare to towards stars.

The Golden Ball Award isn’t fair, manipulating rankings, fans have been suffering for long.

Don’t tell me logic, just go for it!

Thus, since Lu Yang has already raised arms, there’s no reason to retreat.

Lu Yang subtly gestured to Sotu.

Signalling for a substitution.

He’s preparing to open up and start a feast now.

At this point, defense is no longer important, just keep setting up cannons for him!

Sotu understood, and made a big move, substituting two players at sixty minutes.

Substituting Kaint and Lam, bringing in Delarre and Moriba.

Delarre has stronger offensive attributes.

Moriba seems like a defensive midfielder, but internally he’s always eager for offensive play, liking to make cheeky passes whenever possible, fitting perfectly with Lu Yang’s current need for firepower.

”Oh! Sotu made a substitution early, substituting two defensive midfielders, Sotu demonstrates believing in inevitable victory!”

”However, such substitutions seemingly underestimate Sporting Lisbon’s offense!”

”Sotu is a bit overconfident.”

”But one thing is confirmed, the atmosphere within the San Remo Team is excellent, and Sotu’s head coach authority is adequate. Lam and Kaint, subbed off early, show no unhappy expressions. They’re energetically discussing what they could have done better on the bench.”

”In such an atmosphere, even losing this match doesn’t mean San Remo loses hope for advancement!”

Guan Zeyuan encourages San Remo.

Unbeknownst to him, Kaint and Lam were discussing...

Kaint: ”Brother Lu’s shooting opportunities aren’t great in this match.”

Lam: ”Yeah, the number is there, but passes to him from the front lack precision.”

Kaint: ”Mainly the front lacks variability, Talista’s setups are just barely usable. Bai Zhami... let’s not even mention him.”

Lam: ”Only Morici initiates attacks from midfield, making him too predictable. Morici’s passes result in Brother Lu not having great opportunities. Sporting Lisbon has all-in defense around Brother Lu, and once he has the ball, he’s surrounded by a human wall.”

Kaint: ”It’s our poor footwork really, unable to deliver firepower to Brother Lu from midfield during these times.”

Lam: ”If Delarre steps up, he should break the deadlock, his dribbling and passing isn’t much worse than Morici.”

Kaint: ”Yeah, Moriba also has decent long passes. Hope Brother Lu can keep it up, not asking much this match, but at least one goal. Otherwise, French football truly calls us Champions League weaklings.”

Lam: ”Indeed, Brother Lu needs to rise! Can’t let the Golden Ball Award mock us. Goal, goal, goal!”

Lam’s voice rallied the San Remo bench.

Subsequently, the entire Miracle Stadium started chanting along: ”Lu Yang, goal! Lu Yang, goal!”

The home atmosphere was instantly electrified.
