I AM the Football Star

Twelve games, sixteen goals, does anyone have a problem with that?

As it turns out, Lu Yang does have a problem.

In the eighty-fourth minute of the match, the tireless Lu Yang once again completed a steal in the front field, taking the ball away from Brescia’s central defender and charging into the penalty area.

Brescia’s goalkeeper came out as if his life depended on it.

He wasn’t even going for the ball anymore.

He was going for Lu Yang.

They couldn’t let this guy score again!

Four to zero!

Enough!

Really enough!

Bang!

Lu Yang flicked the ball, dodged the inevitable tackle from Brescia’s goalkeeper meant to stop him.

Then, before another central defender could arrive, he caught up with the ball and stabbed it into the open goal.

Brescia’s central defender attempted a sliding tackle but was just inches off.

Had it not been a stab shot, he might have had a chance to block the ball.

Lu Yang’s timing was unmatched.

This is definitely the sign of having eyes on the back of your head.

The skill level of this was much higher than just tricking the goalkeeper earlier.

This is the biggest difference between a Divine Striker and a regular striker.

Five to zero!

Lu Yang’s big four goals!

Four goals and one assist, dominating the field!

Complete eruption!

Everyone who watched this match couldn’t help but be in awe of Lu Yang.

Even Brescia’s home fans collectively offered their applause.

Unbelievable!

Lu Yang is absolutely invincible!

”Oh! The home fans at the scene have turned sides! The whole stadium is chanting Lu Yang’s name.”

”I believe, not just here, not just Italy, perhaps all of Europe is cheering for Lu Yang at this moment.”

”Twenty-one goals! Lu Yang scored twenty-one goals, putting the difficult task in the hands of French Football.”

”Nike’s executives said Lu Yang couldn’t possibly enter the thirty-person candidate list, so what can they say now?”

The wind has picked up!

Starting from this match, Lu Yang’s momentum has fully risen.

The next day, Lu Yang was on the front page of major renowned media outlets!

”Milan Sports Newspaper”: Four goals, one assist, invincible Lu! French Football, helpless and anxious!

”Sky Sports”: French Football owes Lu Yang an apology!

”Kicker”: You wanted twenty goals, he gave you twenty plus one!

”BBC”: Heard that this heavenly footwork is called the Tathagata Divine Palm?

”Sports Bild”: Super sideline shot breaking the goal, this year’s biggest curveball goal, created by Lu Yang!

”Echo”: The craziest performance, the most timely slap—the Golden Ball Award and Lu Yang, what’s next?

”The Times”: If such a powerful Lu Yang can’t make the thirty-person candidate list, then even the last ten included must face fans’ criticism!

”Sun Newspaper”: Sofia flew to Hollywood to shoot a new film first, while Lu Yang followed with a big four goals explosion! The only person in the world who can stop Lu Yang is so obvious, doesn’t French Football immediately invite Sofia back to Lu Yang’s side?

Besides some unethical media, everyone was fiercely praising Lu Yang.

Not only because Lu Yang is strong, but also because he’s strong exactly when everyone needs him to be strong.

Of course, ”Sun Newspaper” obsessively focused on their insights, conducted some statistics and fiction about Lu Yang’s personal data when he was with Sofia.

It’s undoubtedly saying that Sofia and Lu Yang engaged in many ”exercises” which led to Lu Yang’s form slipping.

But believe it or not, a surprisingly large number of fans found the Sun Newspaper’s narrative interesting.

And this portion of fans was primarily female football enthusiasts who didn’t understand the game well.

They loved hearing this kind of news.

When these girls start being flirtatious, boys don’t stand a chance.

...

November 8th, the Golden Ball Award voting deadline.

But based on some previous data, everyone could calculate Lu Yang’s ranking points.

Around thirty-five to forty-five.

Still slightly short of the top thirty.

If given two or three more days, he would surely break into the top thirty.

Because his recent match was absolutely charming.

Audience love players who can timely embarrass institutions.

Of course, such players also tend to be easily targeted and criticized by institutions.

Thus many fans continuously expressed dissatisfaction, believing that even though the Golden Ball Award eventually included Lu Yang’s name, his voting time was far less than other players, and they should return that time to Lu Yang.

However, a spokesperson for the Golden Ball Award stated that the website was established uniformly, and the rules and regulations were uniformly set; they have no reason to open a special door for anyone.

The implication is that they can create obstacles for someone but won’t provide conveniences for someone.

Furthermore, the previous Nike executive also came forward to address some matters.

For instance, he said that he was merely chatting with friends at the time, expressing personal views, unrelated to the Golden Ball Award or French Football.

Of course, he also mentioned that he initially referred to twenty goals in the league, not including the league plus Champions League twenty goals.

That’s different.

Even the Champions League has weak teams.

This year’s Group D appears fiercely competitive, but Sevilla is far from its prime, totally lacking its former brilliance.

Arsenal is similarly unstable this season and may not even contend for fourth place.

Instead, joke teams like San Remo and Sporting Lisbon ranked top of the group, which is simply laughable.

How can such a Champions League be considered high-end?

The Champions League only becomes interesting during the knockout stage.

This was the executive’s exact words.

Although after such comments, fans from Arsenal, Sevilla, and Sporting Lisbon warmly ”greeted” him and his family.
