I AM the Football Star

In this match, San Remo is playing away against Udinese.

Udinese features Lu Yang’s old friend Candreva and former San Remo player Matias.

This year, Udinese’s strength is still mid-level, with a slight hope of competing for Europa League qualification.

Before the end of the first half, Lu Yang launched a sudden long-range lob from midfield, breaking the 0-0 score.

In the 56th minute of the second half, Bai Zhami swept the ball in front of the goal.

The ball was too fast, and no one in the penalty area could touch it, allowing Lu Yang at the far post to capitalize and push it into the net, making it 2-0.

Six minutes later, Lu Yang returned with vengeance, along with Morici and Talista, forming a three-on-one in the frontcourt.

Morici held the ball, attracting the opposing defense, as the opponent stuck close to Lu Yang, determined to freeze him out.

In the end, seeing Morici almost challenge the goalkeeper alone, Udinese’s central defender rushed towards Morici.

Morici made an extreme pass, and Lu Yang stabbed the ball into the net, completing the hat-trick.

However, Morici was also knocked down by the rushing goalkeeper because he insisted on passing to Lu Yang.

Ankle sustained a slight injury.

But to be safe, Sotu substituted Morici with Delarre.

In the 65th minute, shortly after Udinese’s kick-off, Candreva unleashed a long-range shot from outside the penalty area, scoring a world-class goal.

3-1, pulled one back.

In the 70th minute, Canyes dribbled to the bottom and crossed.

Lu Yang flicked it at the near post, intending to set up a play, but instead curled a phenomenal arc, with the ball falling directly into the far corner of the goal.

4-1!

San Remo took a large lead.

Lu Yang completed the four-goal haul by the 70th minute!

It proved that his last match hat-trick was indeed ”not his best form.”

Throughout the stadium, San Remo fans were chanting for a five-goal performance.

However, three minutes later, when Lu Yang participated in defensive play, he brought down Candreva outside his own penalty area.

Because Candreva made a dribbling feint, Lu Yang’s slide tackle seemed somewhat like a tackle from behind.

Candreva was not injured as a result, but the main referee still showed Lu Yang a red card.

Even Candreva was a bit surprised by this decision, feeling slightly embarrassed to keep rolling on the ground.

”He wasn’t malicious...” Candreva said to the main referee.

After all, they were national teammates, and Candreva had a good impression of Lu Yang.

However, the main referee said, ”I know, but according to the rules, his action warrants a red card. He used a dangerous move to disrupt a clear scoring opportunity!”

Lu Yang didn’t comment.

This foul warranted a yellow card without question.

Giving a red card... although it was harsh, it was understandable.

Considering that recently Nike and Ah Ke might have also intervened, such a legitimate call actually made Lu Yang feel better.

At least the opponent didn’t give him a red card for some non-existent foul.

He could accept a severe punishment within the rules, but he couldn’t accept nonsensical calls.

The main referee brought in by Nike and Ah Ke this time showed a relatively high level of ability.

The reason the former situation was acceptable was because the red card given in such a situation is something Lu Yang could avoid by watching his own actions.

This is a game rule, which didn’t fundamentally change even with Nike and Ah Ke’s involvement.

Lu Yang is not afraid of being targeted; a player who fears being targeted can never become a superstar.

What scares him is... being targeted through illegal means.

For example, if you get a red card suddenly while dribbling, that would be annoying.

Or some off-field tricks.

So far, Nike and Ah Ke’s actions have been fairly within the rules, so it wouldn’t trigger a strong backlash from Lu Yang.

And as it happens, Lu Yang did indeed need a red card at this point to ”calm down” himself and the fans.

It was mentioned before that Lu Yang also noticed the harm he had brought to the team during this period.

But with everyone’s emotions heightened to this point, not being a shooter was no longer an option.

Lu Yang needed a reasonable opportunity to stop this frantic performance, giving other team members time to regain their form. Let the team’s cooperation return to the previous state where ”everyone is involved.”

Instead of him playing alone.

In a five-man basketball game, if one person plays alone, the other four will be unhappy.

Let alone this is an eleven-man football game, where it’s impressive enough that the other ten can support Lu Yang without reservation for four consecutive matches.

Now it was time to give everyone a way out.

Thus, Lu Yang did not argue and nodded to accept the referee’s decision.

He walked off the field.

At this moment, applause unexpectedly erupted all around, including from Udinese’s fans.

Despite Lu Yang’s violent performance, everyone had witnessed a spectacular goal show, making the ticket price worthwhile, hadn’t they?

Lu Frenzy’s madness thus lingered in Udinese’s Friuli Stadium.

He demonstrated his explosive goal-scoring ability to the world with 16 goals and 1 assist in four matches.

Four consecutive slaps on the face brought the Golden Ball Award disrepute.

This red card ended Lu Yang’s miracle, but it also summarized recent events.

It was a crazy November.

Lu Yang created an unprecedented record.

That is... a World Football Arch-Enemy!

Or say, an Arch-Enemy of the Cities!

In the past four matches, the total number of goals Lu Yang scored was the highest globally!

In these four matches, not only did no player surpass his total goals.

Even globally, pulling out every club one by one, no single club’s total goals exceeded Lu Yang’s.

The only entity that also wildly slammed 16 goals in the same period, tying Lu Yang for the world record was... this year’s explosively in-form Real Madrid!

Yes, not a single person, but the entire Real Madrid team!

And that team includes this year’s Golden Ball Award hot favorite, Izalelt.

Includes former Mr. Golden Balls Zidane, Lima, Madeira...

Features eight superstars!

Houses some of the highest-valued players in modern world football.

And Lu Yang... only needed Lu Yang!

One man, an enemy of one city!

Nothing more!
