I AM the Football Star

”I think today’s Lu Yang is too solo, and San Remo’s tactics are too inclined towards Lu Yang. They have Talista, Bai Zhami, Morici, and Canyes; they should aim for more versatile play!”

Many people are pointing at Lu Yang, as if the public opinion suddenly shifted.

Commentary itself is a very important part of football.

Subjective commentary often subtly influences the fans.

A single choice in an attack can be interpreted as taking on responsibility, or as disrespecting teammates, not understanding teamwork, being too solo, etc., depending on the explanation by the commentary.

Non-professional fans sometimes find it difficult to understand the differences here.

Firstly, just looking at a person’s short video or screenshot is not enough.

You have to look at the teammates’ positioning, and watch a few seconds more, instead of lifting a still of the moment.

Sometimes you even have to watch the entire half, the whole match in order to understand why sometimes this player forcefully shoots justifiably, and sometimes it’s wrong.

It should be combined with the team overall and the team’s tactics, the tasks assigned to the players, etc., for a comprehensive consideration.

If you are mainly positioned as an attacker by the team, but you claim a large number of shooting opportunities, even if these chances are created by yourself, you have already done wrong.

Without the teammates’ passes and draws, can you create opportunities?

Even Werner, who has an extremely outstanding positioning ability as the Golden Scout, needs teammates to help pull in order to create two to three times more shooting opportunities than others, let alone an ordinary forward?

During halftime, Sotu did not adjust the formation.

But told everyone some details that need attention.

Simplify offensive routines, reduce mistakes, use long passes and the speed advantage of our players to penetrate them more.

Push the battlefield directly to the vicinity of the opponent’s penalty area.

Thus, once the opponent makes a mistake, it is very likely to be fatal.

Pressing high in the offensive midfield.

Weakening the connection between the defense line and the midfield line is not a problem; with Bernulin and Canyes’ reliable long passes, we temporarily do not need midfielders to orchestrate attacks today.

About two minutes into the second half.

Bernulin initiated an attack from the backfield.

His long pass directly found Talista.

And Talista was clever, he didn’t stop the football dead, instead used a lob over the defender, then turned and shrugged off the defender!

Sassuolo’s center-back immediately chased, relying on small moves like pulling, engaged in fierce physical confrontations with Talista.

Talista though aggressively rushed towards the penalty area.

Their struggle continued.

Sassuolo’s center-back couldn’t gain any advantage.

But soon, his advantage inexplicably came.

Talista fell.

Sassuolo’s center-back had movements with his hands.

But it wouldn’t cause Talista to fall.

After all, a second ago, Talista almost pushed him down instead.

But soon, Sassuolo’s center-back’s face turned pale.

Because the Main Referee blew the whistle and then pointed to the penalty spot.

Penalty kick!

This is inside the penalty area!

Though the confrontation was generally normal, both parties had movements with hands.

Talista was a bit smarter, immediately letting go and falling along the opponent’s force upon entering the penalty area.

Too sly!

Sassuolo’s center-back rushed towards Talista, wanting to argue, but was held back by his teammates.

Talista didn’t have any emotional fluctuations; he hugged the football and turned to Lu Yang.

”Lu Yang, you take it.” Xiaota’s sensibility is frightening.

This person is so proficient with the rules of domination within the team.

He can now yield anything in front of Lu Yang.

But this also means, once he becomes the leader of a team, he will demand the same absolute power from his ”subordinates.”

This is why many office cowards start to flaunt their power over subordinates once promoted.

Because he embraces this hierarchical concept, he obeys when low, but enjoys it when high.

This is a logically complete, self-consistent but in fact unscientific and not worth learning or advocating value system.

Because this system enslaves everyone, whether low ranked or high ranked, nobody can feel free, everyone is full of constraints.

Lu Yang took the penalty.

Although, due to slippery conditions, his shooting today was below standard.

But penalty kicks, Brother Lu can handle.

A direct shot to the left, without fake moves, hop-steps, or spoon shots.

The worse the conditions, the simpler and more direct it should be.

Boom!

The football went into the net.

Two to two!

San Remo equalized the score.

Lu Yang scored twice, marking his 19th goal in the league!

He’s one goal away from making the Golden Ball Award speechless.

Can San Remo’s face-slapping Lu come online today?
