Marvel: All My Incarnations Are S-Class Villainesses

Chapter 193: Chapter 193: She’s a woman who could become Captain America’s mother!

However, he was clearly not very good at this sort of thing.

”Hiss—”

Suddenly, Hulk was like a leaking balloon; his massive body shrank rapidly, and the violent green muscles receded quickly.

In less than five seconds, the Hulk disappeared.

In his place was Bruce Banner, wearing tattered clothes and gasping for breath.

He knelt on one knee, looked up, and gazed at Makima outside the glass with a complex expression.

Seeing this scene, Sumire couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow.

This half-year of confinement really worked wonders.

Can Banner and Hulk now switch between each other so smoothly and freely?

It seems the two of them are getting along even more harmoniously than expected.

Banner stood up, supporting himself on his knees; though his face was still pale, his eyes had regained their rationality.

”So, Agent Makima...”

”I want to hear what this so-called ’opportunity’ of yours actually is.”

Makima said nothing upon hearing this, only offering a stunning smile that made Banner’s heart race...

Little did they know that at the same time, ten thousand meters in the air, another group of people was discussing the two of them.

A stealth quinjet bearing the S.H.I.E.L.D. insignia was speeding toward a certain coordinate in the Atlantic Ocean.

Inside the cabin, Phil Coulson, who had just finished talking with Tony, had picked up another Avenger without a moment’s rest—

Today was definitely the longest day of his career, causing Coulson to rub his temples in exhaustion.

However, when he looked up and his gaze fell on the tall man in a brown jacket at the other end of the cabin, all his fatigue was instantly replaced by an irrepressible excitement.

—Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America.

No wonder even after Coulson died, Fury was unwilling to let him go, resurrecting him to continue working for him.

Coulson was practically born to work; he was so useful that even Makima wanted to Control him and have him work for her.

At this moment, the Captain was looking down at the glowing tablet in his hand.

Playing on the screen was footage of the Hulk’s destructive rampage on the streets.

For an ”old fossil” who had just woken up from seventy years of being frozen in ice, this small glowing board was enough to amaze him, let alone the video footage inside that looked like a monster movie.

”So...”

Steve swiped through the data on the screen and looked up at Coulson, who had walked over to him, his brow furrowing slightly. ”This Dr. Bruce Banner was trying to replicate the Super Soldier Serum used on me?”

”A lot of people wanted to do that, Captain.”

Coulson stood up straight and began to flatter him: ”You’re the World’s first superhero. Dr. Banner thought gamma radiation might be the key to unlocking Dr. Erskine’s original formula.”

Steve looked at the green beast on the screen with an expression like the ’old man on a subway looking at his phone’ meme.

”It seems the results weren’t very ideal, were they?”

”Indeed, they weren’t, which is why he’s under strict containment by S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Coulson nodded and added.

”However, we have an excellent Agent who should be able to keep him calm. When Dr. Banner isn’t turning into that big guy, he’s an absolute genius, like Stephen Hawking.”

Steve paused, clearly unfamiliar with the name.

Coulson immediately realized he had used the wrong analogy and quickly corrected himself: ”Uh... just a very smart person.”

A brief silence fell over the cabin.

For the usually smooth-talking Coulson, this was practically a first. But he couldn’t help it; facing the ultimate idol he had admired since childhood, this veteran S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent was so nervous his palms were sweating.

He took a deep breath, as if gathering great courage, and dryly broke the silence:

”I have to say... it’s truly an honor to officially meet you, Captain.”

As soon as Coulson spoke, his fanboy vibes were impossible to hide.

Steve looked up at the Agent before him—whose hairline was a bit concerning and whose face was full of sincerity—and smiled politely.

”Thank you.”

”Actually... we’ve sort of met before.” Coulson clearly couldn’t Control the fanboy dopamine flooding his system; he not only spoke faster but even started to sound a bit incoherent.

”It’s just... while you were still asleep, I was watching you the whole time.”

Steve:?

As soon as the words left his mouth, Coulson wanted to slap himself.

He wasn’t just a fanboy anymore; why did he sound slightly like a yandere...

”Uh... I mean, when you were dug out of the ice and were still unconscious, I was there on the scene!”

Coulson explained flusteredly, feeling his face grow hot enough to fry an egg.

”Oh... that’s nice.” Steve cleared his throat awkwardly, trying to ease the tension a bit.

However... things didn’t go as planned, and the atmosphere became awkward once again.

Fortunately—

”Sir!”

Just as the atmosphere was getting more and more awkward, the pilot in the cockpit turned around and shouted.

”We’ve reached the target coordinates, preparing to land!”

Steve stood up as if relieved and walked to the cabin window.

As the quinjet gradually descended, a steel beast on the surface of the sea slowly revealed its breathtaking full form.

The pinnacle of S.H.I.E.L.D. technology—the Helicarrier.

Accompanied by the deafening roar of engines, the quinjet landed smoothly on the massive flight deck of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier.

The hatch slowly lowered, and a gust of wind carrying the Atlantic’s characteristic salty, damp air rushed in.

As soon as Steve Rogers stepped off the jet, Coulson couldn’t wait to introduce him to the other key figures who had been waiting on the deck.

”Captain, this is Agent Natasha Romanoff.” Coulson pointed to the red-haired Natasha, then looked at the other red-haired woman standing nearby in a neat uniform. ”This is Agent Makima; she is our S.H.I.E.L.D. psychological expert.”

”Hello.” Steve politely extended his hand and shook hands with the two red-haired beauties of completely different styles.

”I’ve heard much about you, Captain Rogers. In this chaotic era, S.H.I.E.L.D. very much needs a pillar of support like you.”

Makima spoke, her voice seemingly carrying a strange, soothing magic that caused Steve—who had only recently awakened and was still wary and confused about this new World—to unconsciously relax his tense nerves.

He looked into Makima’s calm, light green eyes and felt that this female Agent had a temperament that felt remarkably familiar, making Steve unable to help but think of someone...

His...

Mother.
