Marvel: All My Incarnations Are S-Class Villainesses

Chapter 159: Chapter 159: Fortunately, She’s on Our Side

”My God...”

The lead Captain’s face was pale. He looked around and saw the headless corpse in the corner—that was Colonel Burckhoff, while Agent Makima, who had been standing at the command post, had long since merged into the mire of flesh and blood on the ground.

It was impossible to tell who was who.

No survivors.

Except for that purple-haired girl fighting the monster, everyone here was dead!

The Captain tremblingly pressed the communicator, his voice carrying a sob: ”Command center... this is Team A...”

”Colonel Burckhoff is KIA... Everyone in the control room is KIA...”

”Agent Makima from S.H.I.E.L.D. also...”

Before he could finish his sentence.

Suddenly.

Splash.

A hair-raising, viscous liquid sound came from the pile of ruins.

The soldiers turned their heads in horror, their pupils suddenly dilating to the limit.

In that mountain of corpses and sea of blood, a figure was actually slowly standing up!

”A... a corpse coming back to life?”

In an instant, fear permeated the hearts of every soldier.

It was Makima.

She stood in the center of the ruins, soaked in blood from head to toe. A few pieces of minced meat, belonging to who knows whom, hung from her shoulder, but eerily, under this hellish scene of carnage, she herself was unharmed.

No fractures, no bleeding.

She just stood there calmly, casually brushing off the fragments of internal organs from her shoulder, as if she were simply dusting off her coat.

”Ah... ah...”

The Captain’s legs went weak, and he slumped onto the blood-stained floor.

He pointed at Makima, his fingers trembling violently, and meaningless gurgling sounds came from his throat.

How was this possible?

He had clearly seen that monster jump into the control room just now and crush everyone inside into meat paste.

Even if he hadn’t seen clearly at first because of the distance, a few seconds ago, when he first walked into the control room, he had seen it clearly. There wasn’t even a single intact corpse inside, and even Makima’s coat had been in the pool of blood on the floor just now.

Could it be that he was having hallucinations?!

This was impossible! It made no sense at all!

It indeed made no sense.

However, Makima didn’t intend to explain.

She turned her head; her colored contact lenses had already fallen out.

Those eyes, with circles of golden ring patterns in the pupils, looked exceptionally sinister against her blood-stained face.

She looked at the group of terrified soldiers and a smile curled at the corners of her mouth.

”Shh.”

She held up a blood-stained finger to her lips.

The next second.

Puchi—!

Before the soldiers could react, several chains suddenly shot out from Makima’s abdomen!

They instantly connected to the abdomen of every soldier!

No screams, no resistance.

At that moment, the horror and panic in the soldiers’ eyes receded like the ebbing tide.

Replacing it was a fanatical obedience, like a pack of hounds that had found their Master.

The Captain’s once-trembling hand slowly steadied.

At this time, the anxious roar of the command center sounded from the communicator.

”Team A! Why have you gone silent?! What is Agent Makima’s situation? Report! Report immediately!”

The Captain expressionlessly pressed the communication button, his voice chillingly calm:

”...Correcting report.”

”Command center, this is Team A.”

”Colonel Burckhoff and all soldiers and staff in the control room are KIA. Abomination has broken out of control.”

The Captain looked up, glancing at the blood-soaked red-haired woman in front of him.

”...Agent Makima survived. She is... heavily injured, but conscious and is reorganizing the defense line.”

Meanwhile, at S.H.I.E.L.D. Triskelion Headquarters.

”What do you mean heavily injured?!” Nick Fury slammed his hand on the table, his single eye full of rage and shock. ”With that level of security measures, even the Hulk couldn’t have broken through in such a short time. Also, where is Reze? Where is Reze?!”

Fury’s heart sank to the bottom.

Makima seriously injured?

This was the news he least wanted to hear.

She was one of Fury’s most capable employees right now, young and with a promising future. If she were lost here... The trembling voice of a soldier came from the communicator: ”Reporting Director... Consultant Reze... she is currently engaging the Abomination.”

”How is the battle? Do you need support?”

”No... Director, I’m not sure how to describe it.”

The soldier swallowed hard.

”Switch the feed over!”

The technician quickly operated the keyboard: ”Officer, most of the surveillance has been destroyed. We can only retrieve the backup surveillance from the outer parking lot of D-Zone!”

The big screen flickered a few times, and a grainy image jumped out.

The next second, Fury went silent.

In the image, the mountain-sized Abomination was retreating in a panic. In the swirling dust, a black figure with a head like a torpedo was catapulting between the walls and the ceiling at a speed humans couldn’t comprehend.

Boom!

Two streams of directional explosive flames erupted from Reze’s heels, and her whole body changed direction in the air like a Rocket.

She was like an agile black swift, darting around the cumbersome Abomination, dodging his fists.

BOOM!

One of Reze’s whip kicks, accompanied by a violent explosion, deformed the Abomination’s ugly face, making him stumble back repeatedly.

Fury watched the screen, and his furrowed brow finally relaxed a bit.

One could only say Natasha was right... Fortunately, they are on the same side as Reze now... Bar.

The lights were dim, and jazz music flowed.

Tony Stark was holding a martini, talking nonchalantly to the sitting General Ross across from him.

”Listen, General, I’m still saying the same thing: that Superboy Project sucks. But this Bar is nice. I’m thinking of buying it and then hanging my—”

Buzz— Buzz—

The encrypted phone in General Ross’s pocket vibrated.

He glared at Tony impatiently and picked up the phone: ”I said, unless there’s—”

The next second, General Ross’s face turned pale, and the cigar in his hand dropped to the floor.

”What did you say? Abomination is awake?! The Inhibitor failed?!”

”Where is the Colonel? A bunch of damn idiots! Black out the news! I’m coming back right now!”

Ross stood up abruptly, not even bothering to pick up his military cap. He pushed aside the waiting waiter and rushed out, completely ignoring Stark, who was still talking.

”Get the car ready! To the airport! Fast!”

”Hey! I haven’t finished yet!”

Tony watched Ross’s panicked back, his playful smile slowly disappearing, replaced by a trace of gravity.

That always-stiff old fogey actually panicked like this?

An ominous premonition welled up in his heart.

Could it be that something happened with Makima and Reze?

”Jarvis, help me contact Phil Coulson, now.”
