The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 212: Chapter 212: Commander Han’s Competence Called into Question

Feng Qing, who had fallen off the cliff, originally wanted to throw out the Five Iron Claws to grab onto the cliff face, but she had been hit by an arrow. The arrow wounded her right shoulder, and although it wasn’t fatal, it rendered her unable to move. At this point, she couldn’t use the Five Iron Claws to grab the cliff, so she had to follow Han Moyao’s plan, first landing on an overhanging platform, then descending to the cave below the platform.

When the arrow was shot at her back earlier, she thought it was someone sent by Han Moyao aiming at her. But later, when stones came flying, diverting the path of the arrow, she realized that the person shooting at her probably wasn’t someone from Han Moyao’s side.

In fact, it was the people who diverted the arrow with stones who belonged to Han Moyao.

This is why Feng Qing decided to listen to Han Moyao’s arrangements when she was in a difficult position.

Feng Qing landed on the overhanging platform and found it was just a small platform, extending out with little space.

Feng Qing smoothly climbed down from the platform to the area below it.

Sure enough, as Han Moyao said, there was a cave beneath the platform.

Feng Qing stepped into the cave. The cave wasn’t large but also not too deep. As soon as she entered, she couldn’t hesitate and immediately tore her clothes to treat her wound.

While treating her wound, she cursed the person who tried to assassinate her. If she ever found out who it was, she vowed to take revenge.

Feng Qing was treating the wound, pulling out the arrow, applying medicine, and bandaging it.

While she was bandaging the wound, there was suddenly a sound outside the cave, and someone walked in with large strides.

Feng Qing instinctively turned her head to look, just in time to see the handsome Han Moyao in black clothing walk in from outside the cave.

Seeing him, Feng Qing instinctively frowned; although it was likely not Han Moyao’s people who tried to kill her, she still wasn’t happy to see him.

While thinking, Feng Qing quickly treated her wound, pulled up her clothes after bandaging, and sarcastically mocked Han Moyao, ”Commander Han, your actions are really questionable. How did you manage to secure the position of Commander of the Five Cities Military Department?”

Han Moyao looked at Feng Qing with a slightly colder expression, visibly irritated.

He had helped this woman, yet she was still sneering—what was that supposed to mean?

”It wasn’t me who ordered to shoot you; it was someone else,” he said.

Feng Qing took a deep breath, stood up, and asked Han Moyao, ”Who was it?”

Han Moyao glanced at her and said, ”You’re about to leave; why do you still want to know?”

Feng Qing sneered, ”Just because I leave today doesn’t mean I won’t get my revenge later.”

Han Moyao frowned at Feng Qing, seeing her persistent gaze, clearly not willing to give up until she found out who ordered her shooting.

Han Moyao didn’t want to tangle with Feng Qing any further and coldly said, ”It was the Fifth Princess who ordered your shooting.”

As Han Moyao finished speaking, Feng Qing let out a cold laugh and continued with his words, ”The Fifth Princess made it convenient for Commander Han; you conveniently place all the blame on her, and maybe you can even use her to kill me, huh?”

Her voice was icy, and her eyes revealed an insight that could see through everything.

Han Moyao looked at Feng Qing and suddenly realized that this woman was extremely intelligent. Yes, he initially planned for people to surround and kill Feng Qing, then have her jump off the cliff, sending her away.

Later, he unexpectedly received news that the Fifth Princess ordered her guards to shoot Feng Qing, saving him the trouble.

One must know that Prince Yong, Rong Ling, wasn’t easily fooled. If it had been him, Rong Ling might have found out, and he would be in trouble.
