The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 202: Chapter 202: Can’t Even Apply Medicine Properly, Heh (Bonus Chapter)

Rong Ling glanced up at her, didn’t respond, and gestured for her to roll up the pants on her other knee.

As Feng Qing rolled up her pants, she muttered, ”Prince, I want to learn to ride a horse. As Princess Yong of Dayan, it’s a joke that I can’t ride. So, Prince, please teach me to ride a horse.”

Rong Ling scooped out a bit of ointment from the box and pressed it hard onto Feng Qing’s bruised knee, causing her to grimace in pain, ”It hurts.”

Rong Ling snorted coldly, ”If it hurts, be more dignified. Don’t fall like today again, what a sight.”

”Can I join the hunting event tomorrow?”

Feng Qing persisted in asking, and Rong Ling looked at her helplessly, ”If you do this again next time, I won’t be so forgiving.”

”I understand.”

Feng Qing breathed a sigh of relief, thinking she’d be disappearing soon, and who knows where she’d end up next.

But how does Han Moyao plan to help her, and how will he design this disappearance plot?

As Feng Qing pondered, she grew worried, her mind drifting away from the present. Meanwhile, Rong Ling, who was applying the ointment, slowed his movements, carefully using his long, jade-like hands to apply the ointment to Feng Qing.

At first, he was worried about Feng Qing’s knee injury and didn’t notice anything else. As he settled down, he suddenly felt the skin under his hands was delicate and smooth, with a faint, elegant fragrance wafting up.

Rong Ling suddenly felt his heart beat faster, and his whole hand became hot, but he quickly realized something was off, so his gaze darkened, and his hand subconsciously pressed harder.

Feng Qing was initially enjoying it, but with his sudden rough application, she winced in pain, ”Rong Ling, what are you doing?”

Before he could respond, she swiftly reached out, grabbed the ointment for promoting blood circulation and reducing bruises, and applied it herself.

Feng Qing grumbled while applying the ointment, ”After all, you’re a gilded and precious Prince. You can’t even apply ointment, huh.”

Hearing her words, Rong Ling thought of his earlier distraction and felt irritated, so he lifted his eyes and gave Feng Qing a cold look.

”I apply ointment for you, and you still have complaints.”

Feng Qing glanced at the man in front of her, thinking about her departure. If she angered him, she might not be able to participate in the autumn hunt, and then could she still leave? So she decided to appease him.

With this thought, Feng Qing smiled broadly at Rong Ling, ”Yes, yes, I’m very touched that Prince applied ointment for me. From now on, I will remember Prince’s great kindness and virtue.”

Rong Ling’s brow twitched, ”You really have a sharp tongue.”

Feng Qing beamed, ”Thank you for the compliment, Prince Xie.”

This time, Rong Ling was left speechless, unable to say a word.

Just then, outside the tent, Nan Feng’s voice rang out at the right moment.

”Prince, the Emperor has dispatched an eunuch to invite you for a meal. I’ve heard many members of the Imperial Family and ministers from the court are present.”

Inside the tent, Feng Qing secretly breathed a sigh of relief, thinking she finally didn’t have to appease him anymore; it was truly difficult.

Rong Ling then took a deep breath to adjust his mood, feeling half-dead from frustration.

Gradually, Rong Ling felt calmer, regained his composure, and when he looked up again, his face was full of calm and tranquility.

”Alright, the ointment is applied. Rest well tonight, don’t run around. If anything happens again, watch out that I don’t teach you horse riding tomorrow.”

Feng Qing immediately agreed, ”I understand, Prince. Go have a meal with the Emperor, it’s not good to be late.”
