The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 204: Chapter 204: Is the Princess Consort Waiting for Me?

Feng Qing quickly opened the note and read it. As expected, it was sent by Han Moyao. It stated that during tomorrow’s hunt, he would help her escape by taking advantage of the hunt and heading toward the first mountain pass in the northwest. He would stage an assassination attempt on her there, and then use the opportunity to knock her off the cliff. There is a cliff platform extending out a slope behind the first mountain pass.

When she falls, she should remember to leap toward the sloped rear, so she won’t fall off the cliff. Once she lands on the cliff platform, she should quietly hide in a cave below the cliff platform, which is unknown to others; she can feel at ease staying in this cave.

After reading the letter, Feng Qing knew that Han Moyao had arranged things well, but by doing so, she was actually taking a big risk.

Not to mention she exposed Han Moyao’s actions of bringing death warriors to assassinate Rong Ling that day, she even threatened Han Moyao once before.

As the princely heir of the An Nan Marquis Mansion and a favored person before the Little Emperor, Han Moyao, a noble family gentleman, would surely be angry at being threatened.

So now, he must be extremely furious with her, and if he harbors any ill will, it wouldn’t be surprising if he decided to silence her during the assassination.

But if she doesn’t leave now, leaving later would be particularly difficult.

Currently, Rong Ling is solely focused on consummating with her, and while consummating isn’t the main issue, what if she becomes pregnant?

Although she is a doctor and avoiding pregnancy is easy for her, it’s still not a permanent solution.

Moreover, she doesn’t want to stay in the inner residence fighting with those women, revolving around a man; the education she received in her past life doesn’t endorse these.

Most importantly, she spent so much effort learning medicine in her past life, and in this life, she wants to use it to help the world, how can she remain trapped in a residence forever?

Feng Qing thought it over and decided to take a chance, as for the assassination plan at the first mountain pass tomorrow, she would act according to the situation.

Feng Qing then touched the iron claw rope in her sleeve, she had also prepared a lot to leave today, and wasn’t entirely relying on Han Moyao.

As she thought, Feng Qing closed her eyes to rest, but couldn’t sleep for a while, thinking sometimes about the action tomorrow, and sometimes about Rong Ling coming back later.

As the night grew increasingly deep, Feng Qing was almost asleep in a daze, just when the tent door moved slightly as someone walked in from outside.

Feng Qing, in a half-awake state, immediately woke up, it was Rong Ling who had come back.

Though she didn’t move, she could smell the fresh, faint fragrance in the air, confirming that it was indeed Rong Ling who returned, and he seemed to have been drinking, as the fresh faint fragrance carried a slight hint of alcohol.

Even though Feng Qing hadn’t fallen asleep, she kept her eyes closed, pretending to be asleep.

Inside the tent, Rong Ling seemed to be washing up, and was doing it himself, without calling for others, after all, she was also in this tent.

After washing up, Rong Ling, carrying a refreshing scent, got into bed.

As soon as Feng Qing sensed him getting into bed, she dared not move at all, as though she was truly asleep.

Unfortunately, he didn’t lie down for quite a while, nor was there any sound. On the contrary, Feng Qing could feel a burning gaze fixed on her, and eventually, she couldn’t withstand the gaze, cautiously half-opening an eye to peek.

She saw the man above her looking at her with deep, enchanting eyes. At that moment, having just washed up, his brow and eyes were lazy and mischievous. Seeing Feng Qing stealing a glance at him, Rong Ling lazily spoke, ”Is the Princess Consort waiting for me?”
