The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 208: Chapter 208: The Prince Is Truly Good to the Princess Consort

Feng Qing smiled like a blooming flower and thanked Rong Ling, ”Thank you, Prince.”

Rong Ling glanced at Feng Qing, the Little Princess seemed quite agreeable these past few days. Could it be because she’s out having fun, hence so obedient?

If that’s the case, he should take her out more often, not only to make her happy but also to teach her how to be a good Princess. With time, he’s convinced she’ll become the most qualified Princess of Prince Yong Mansion.

Thinking this, Rong Ling felt increasingly pleased as he led Feng Qing towards the entrance of the Hunting Ground. They talked as they walked.

”It’s normal to feel a bit nervous the first time riding a horse, but don’t worry, I’ve chosen a very gentle horse for you. It won’t lose its temper without reason.”

”There are a few things you must remember when learning to ride a horse. Don’t stand behind the horse’s rear; you should stand at its sides.”

”Before getting on the horse, communicate with it, like patting it, getting close, letting it familiarize with you.”

”Once you’re on the horse, make sure to hold the reins tightly. With the reins in your hand, the horse is yours, but without the reins, you become the horse’s?”

At the end of his words, Rong Ling’s voice had a subtle hint of jest. Feng Qing really wanted to roll her eyes at him; she knew how to ride a horse, alright? Still, to prevent Rong Ling from noticing, she faithfully listened with a sincere expression and then appropriately gave Rong Ling a smile, affirming her stance.

”Rest assured, Prince, I will certainly learn to ride the horse and won’t let you lose face.”

Upon hearing her words, Rong Ling’s stunning face broke into a smile. Feng Qing’s words made him delighted, although he actually didn’t mind whether Feng Qing could learn to ride a horse or not.

”As long as you’re happy, learning or not isn’t important.”

With that said, he gestured for Feng Qing to mount the horse. After Feng Qing got on, Rong Ling also leapt onto his horse.

Although he couldn’t yet use Inner Strength, he could move normally and was much like an ordinary person.

Rong Ling and Feng Qing rode their horses into the Hunting Ground together. On the outskirts, various courtiers’ ladies and young ladies who had been observing the scene were dumbfounded.

Is this still the same Dayan Regent King Rong Ling?

Since when did he have such patience for a woman? Not only did he treat her kindly, but he also painstakingly taught her horse riding. Most notably, when he gazed at Feng Qing, there’s a hint of affection in his eyes.

Could it be that the Prince is blind and doesn’t see the huge spider on Feng Qing’s face? Does this woman not look ugly or terrifying to him? And isn’t he worried that this woman’s curse will affect him?

Suddenly, the noblewomen and young ladies around the Hunting Ground began to gossip.

”Prince Yong treats Princess Yong so well. Is he blind? Can’t he see the horrifying spider on Feng Qing’s face?”

”I heard that when Han Concubine entered the mansion, the Prince didn’t pay her any heed.”

”Could it be Prince Yong has some peculiar taste? His preferences may differ from others.”

”Actually, I think I know a bit about it. The reason Prince Yong treats Princess Yong so well seems to be because the Princess saved his life. Have you forgotten about the poisoning incident with the Prince? That poison was supposedly neutralized by Princess Yong Feng Qing.”

”Really, when did the eldest daughter of the Feng Family gain such a skill, being able to detoxify poisons?”

”Then the Prince is repaying the favor. If that’s the case, doesn’t that mean Feng Qing’s position as Princess Yong is stable?”

The gossiping was lively, and not far away, Fifth Princess Rong Qianjin listened to their words, her face turning darker than ever, while Li Yunrui and Xia Yingfu continued to fan the flames beside her.
