The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 203: Chapter 203: Princess Consort, Don’t Frighten the Maids

Rong Ling didn’t say anything more, walked to the side of the tent to wash his hands, then lifted the curtain and walked out of the tent.

As soon as Rong Ling left, Si Qi and Si Hua walked in. When the two maids came in, they saw their Princess Consort smiling happily as she tidied up her clothes, evidently in a good mood.

So something did happen just now, right? The two maids exchanged a glance and both laughed.

”Princess Consort, would you like me to go get something to eat now?”

Feng Qing, thinking about disappearing tomorrow, wasn’t in the mood to eat, so she casually said, ”Sure, just get some porridge. I don’t really feel like eating anything else.”

”Alright.”

One of them went out to get the food, and the other helped Feng Qing to lie down on the bed on one side of the tent.

Feng Qing lay on the bed, musing over her thoughts, first thinking about disappearing at the hunting ground tomorrow, and then moving on to an important matter.

This tent only had one bed, so how would she and Rong Ling sleep tonight?

Upon thinking of this, Feng Qing’s face changed drastically, and she quickly sat up, looking at Si Qi in horror, ”Si Qi, am I going to sleep in the same tent as the Prince tonight?”

Si Qi immediately smiled and nodded, ”Yes, Princess Consort, you and the Prince are married, after all.”

Feng Qing felt uncomfortable all over, remembering how she had kicked Rong Ling into the corner of the bed before. She wondered if she would do the same tonight.

If she kicked Rong Ling again tonight, she might not be able to participate in tomorrow’s hunting event.

Feng Qing looked at Si Qi with distress all over her face, ”Si Qi, where are you and Si Hua sleeping? How about I sleep with you tonight?”

Si Qi looked alarmed, ”Princess Consort, please don’t scare the servants. If you sleep with us, what would people say if this got out?”

Feng Qing thought about it and felt a headache coming on. She lay weakly on the bed.

Outside the tent, Si Hua came in with the food. Seeing Feng Qing looking so miserable, she curiously glanced at Si Qi, ”What’s wrong with the Princess Consort?”

Si Qi shrugged and said, ”The Princess Consort wants to sleep with us instead of in this tent.”

Si Hua couldn’t help but twitch the corners of her mouth, ”Princess Consort, with the Emperor and the entire Imperial Family here, if you were to sleep with the maids, it would be disgraceful for both you and the Prince. So don’t think about anything else and eat your meal.”

Feng Qing thought about it and realized it was best to handle it as it came. There was nothing to be concerned about, so maybe she should just go to bed early tonight.

Rong Ling was now off having dinner with the Little Emperor, so she’d have some food, wash up, and get to bed early.

By the time Rong Ling came back, she’d already be asleep, so she shouldn’t end up kicking him to the corner of the bed again.

Having made up her mind, Feng Qing ate a bowl of porridge, washed up early, and went to bed to rest.

But she had only been lying down for a little while when there was a swishing sound from the dark, followed by a small noise as if something had landed. Feng Qing quickly looked over and saw a small stone with a piece of paper tied to it fall into a corner of the tent.

Remembering her encounter with Han Moyao during the day, Feng Qing wondered if this was a message from him.

As the thought crossed her mind, Feng Qing swiftly got up, rushed over, and picked up the small stone, taking off the piece of paper tied to it.

Just then, outside the tent, a guard’s voice called out, ”Princess Consort, is everything alright?”

The guards outside had heard the noise from inside the tent.

The guards at Prince Yong Mansion were highly skilled experts, able to hear the slightest sound, so the earlier commotion had tipped them off.

Feng Qing quickly responded, ”It’s nothing. I accidentally knocked something over.”

The guard acknowledged, showing no suspicion, and turned to continue patrolling the vicinity.
