I Can Stock Up in the Game

Chapter 89: Chapter 80: The Subtle Influence of Attributes! Boss Zhang Has Everyone Handled

”Is that what you think, Senior Sister Lin?” Zhang Lin wasn’t surprised that Lin Muxue saw it that way. After all, the Bamboo Culture Park’s special properties didn’t lie in the design of its gardens, but in the bamboo products and the fun visitors would have participating.

So, the gardens weren’t the main attraction. The special properties attached to the bamboo products and the enjoyment of the visitors were what truly mattered.

Lin Muxue nodded and said, ”That’s true. Of course, if President Zhang has other plans, then we can’t judge it based on this alone. After all, bamboo culture should be about the bamboo, not just the park itself!”

Zhang Lin nodded but didn’t explain.

’Things like game-like attributes are impossible to explain anyway. Once the Bamboo Culture Park’s special properties are triggered, its miraculous nature will reveal itself.’

Not long after, Zhao Han arrived, accompanied by two employees from the tourism bureau.

”Boss Zhang, is this the Bamboo Culture Park?” The moment Zhao Han arrived, his eyes went straight to the newly completed park.

At first glance, he also thought the Bamboo Culture Park’s construction and design were nice, but it didn’t seem quite as breathtaking as the service center.

However, this was a project by Boss Zhang, so he didn’t think it would be that simple.

After all, Boss Zhang’s track record spoke for itself. He had turned a simple Bamboo Maze into something of this caliber. In comparison, the Noahda Bamboo Forest Maze, once considered the best in the country, was now regarded as child’s play next to the one at Li Yuan Farm.

’So, this Bamboo Culture Park must have some deeper meaning.’

Hearing Zhao Han, Zhang Lin replied, ”Director Zhao, we’re just waiting for the bamboo artisans to arrive. Once they’re here, the Bamboo Culture Park can officially open.”

Zhao Han immediately responded, ”I’ve already had Wang Yu notify them. The craftsmen will be here very soon!”

Sure enough, about an hour later, Wang Yu arrived with the bamboo craftsmen. Since there were quite a few people, he had even arranged for two large buses to transport them.

”This way, Masters! Follow me, I’ll take you to meet the owner of Li Yuan Farm!” Wang Yu said, guiding the bamboo craftsmen after they got off the bus.

After getting off the buses, the first thing the bamboo craftsmen did was look at the tourists milling about.

”This farm really does have a lot of tourists!”

”Yeah! With my skills, I’m sure I can sell plenty of bamboo products!”

”I’ll be happy if I can just sell three a day.”

”...”

Hearing their comments, Old Guo silently cursed them for having no ambition, then straightened his collar. ’I’m going to sell 30.’

Only then would his two sons come back to learn his craft.

In fact, he had secretly come to Li Yuan Farm to scout it out over the past two days. He was well aware of how many tourists there were. The farm supposedly limited tickets to 5,000, but he’d seen that there were actually more than 7,500 people, with many others just hanging around to join in on the excitement, especially outside the Bamboo Maze.

Although he wasn’t very educated, he knew one thing: as long as his craftsmanship was good enough, with this many people around, selling 30 bamboo products a day would be no problem at all. It was just as that Director Zhao had said—if he earned 20 per item, that would be 18,000 a month.

That income would be more than what his two sons made combined.

’We’ll see if they still refuse to come home and serve him then.’

’Those two disappointing sons... they refused to learn the craft, preferring to earn a few thousand a month working in a factory.’

As he thought about it, Old Guo felt a little embarrassed. He had gotten carried away with his daydreams.

Wang Yu could clearly see the enthusiasm of the bamboo craftsmen. He smiled and led the way, taking them toward the Bamboo Culture Park.

Zhang Lin soon met the bamboo craftsmen. Compared to the well-known artisans from big cities, the way these small-town craftsmen dressed still had a very rustic character.

Wang Yu immediately went up to Zhang Lin and said very politely, ”Boss Zhang, we’ve already signed the contracts with these craftsmen. They’re all in my car. I’ll hand them over to you shortly!”

”Mm, thank you for your trouble, Director Wang,” Zhang Lin nodded.

The county had helped process the contracts for these bamboo craftsmen. It was part of a plan by the tourism bureau to support these artisans and provide employment opportunities.

Handling the contracts this way simply added an extra step where the tourism bureau acted as an intermediary.

Even without this process, if Li Yuan Farm had signed directly with the craftsmen, there would have been no difference in the contract’s content or benefits.

However, while this extra step had no impact on the craftsmen, it was very beneficial for the tourism bureau.

Everyone in the know understood.

He had originally only asked for 5 master craftsmen with legacy skills and 50 regular craftsmen. However, after some discussion, the tourism bureau decided to send over all 70-plus people they had found.

In any case, the contracts were based on a sales commission. The farm would take a cut based on how many items were sold, so it didn’t affect them either way.

Therefore, he was naturally happy to cooperate on such matters. After all, he wasn’t a lone wolf. It was a situation of ”you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours.” Besides, there was a reason why people like Zhao Han were so polite to him.

Seeing that Wang Yu had brought the men, Zhao Han immediately said to Zhang Lin, ”Boss Zhang, these are the bamboo craftsmen we’ve gathered from all over the county. Some of them are the best of the best, with legacy skills. They should meet your requirements. You can test them and select the 5 to be the head masters!”

With that, he called out to the group, ”Master Guo, you and the others, come on up. This is the owner of the farm.”

Old Guo and seven other men immediately stepped forward. As they approached, they hurriedly greeted Zhang Lin.

”Hello, Boss. My name is Ma Youcai. My family has been making bamboo products for generations!”
