Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 20: Chapter 20: Attributes Raised Again

Zong Shen was deep in thought and unwittingly returned to the courtyard outside.

He reached out and patted the head of the old traveling horse.

Its smooth fur felt good to the touch.

”Smart old fellow.”

The old traveling horse snorted, turned its head slightly, and a large eye stared at Zong Shen.

In that gaze, Zong Shen saw friendliness, wisdom, and harmony.

They say an old horse knows the way, and it’s absolutely true.

This old traveling horse seemed, to Zong Shen, much smarter and more sincere than the three foolish farmers.

Zong Shen dismounted and tied the traveling horse at the courtyard gate, letting it graze on its own.

At this moment, Luna and the others had not yet returned.

Among the three buildings, the construction of the [Level 1 Grass Hut] was already halfway done.

If resources were abundant and the population sufficient, preliminary construction could be completed soon.

Tomorrow’s goal was still primarily resource gathering, and Zong Shen planned to group the farmers.

Each group would be responsible for different resources, increasing efficiency.

As the harvesting team expanded and the gathering range widened,

Korby and Luna had to stay behind to protect the gathering farmers and help transport resources.

The trees and resources here were too scattered.

If a grove or a mine could be found,

Zong Shen could build a [Tier One Lumber Mill] or a [Level 1 Mine] nearby. When the farmers finished gathering, they could directly deposit the wood and ore, converting them into various resources.

No need to transport them back to the courtyard, saving a significant amount of efficiency.

Zong Shen plopped onto the territory storage box, treating it as his lord’s throne.

”Next, let’s equip the new gear, and after eliminating those roving bandits, I also leveled up twice. Let’s allocate skills and attributes a bit.”

Zong Shen muttered to himself.

He then opened the [Personal] function.

He began allocating points.

After leveling up twice, he had 2 assignable attribute points, 2 assignable skill points, and 10 assignable weapon proficiency points.

The refined level equipment [Emerald Green Leg Armor] he previously acquired required 8 points of agility to equip, and Zong Shen was still short by one point.

So, decisively, he added 1 point to agility.

He hesitated with the remaining point between strength and wisdom.

Strength increased his personal prowess.

Wisdom increased his team’s capability.

Moreover, the four major attributes determined the upper limit of skill levels.

The level of passive skills could not exceed one-third of the associated four major attributes.

Zong Shen’s intelligence was only 7 points, limiting all wisdom-type skills to level 2.

Unless he could cultivate a wisdom-type hero to oversee expeditions and internal affairs.

Charm was also important, determining his command limit.

This truly had Zong Shen a bit conflicted.

Strength and agility leaned towards personal gains.

Wisdom and charm leaned more towards team benefits.

Just as Zong Shen was wrangling with this,

the golden strategy emerged once more.

(No need to be conflicted; early development should be the focus, recommending you add to wisdom and charm. Emphasize again, don’t worry about early point allocation. Once you have a hero who can independently take charge, you can allocate points as you wish. Additionally, the lord can also enhance himself through learning or specialization.)

Reading this strategy, Zong Shen felt reassured.

He placed the other point into wisdom, which increased his assignable skill points by one.

assignable skill points.

Zong Shen initially intended to add to engineering, but engineering had already reached its limit.

So, he added the 3 skill points to [Healing], [Item Management], and [Guide].

Next, his goal was to boost wisdom to 9 quickly, increasing passive skill limits to tier three.

He didn’t regret choosing the strength stream at the start.

His combat power was still considerable after re-gearing.

If he had initially chosen wisdom and charm, he might not even be able to kill that young grassland wolf now.

Blocked by wolves at home, he couldn’t explore as freely as he could now.

Then, he allocated all weapon proficiency points to one-handed weapons.

After completing the allocation, Zong Shen donned the [Emerald Green Leg Armor], further boosting his attributes.

He opened the [Lord’s Data]

Zong Shen’s attributes immediately refreshed.

Zong Shen waved his hand to dispel the system text before him.

He was quite satisfied with his current attributes.

In terms of pure slashing attack capability, it was comparable to wolf cavalry.

He just didn’t have as many skills as Korby and Luna.

”Not too bad.”

”At least, I have some power to defend myself.”

Zong Shen stretched lazily.

Satisfied with his current attributes.

After all, today was just the first day of landing.

The future is full of hope!

Go get ’em!

Zong Shen clenched his fist, giving himself a motivational boost.

It was now five in the afternoon.

The evening sun was setting, its rays no longer glaring and starting to soften.

Luna finally returned to the territory with eight farmers.

Korby had not come back yet.

This seemed a bit later than the scheduled time.

However, Zong Shen didn’t see any war-related notifications about Korby in the system hints, indicating probably no trouble.

He got up to greet Luna.

”Luna, thank you for your hard work.”

Then, he addressed the eight farmers.

”You’re quite lucky; there isn’t too much work for you today.”

”Now, head to outside the courtyard. There are two [Level 1 Grass Huts] to build there, along with six iron axes and six iron pickaxes.”

”The territory is currently short on wood, so gather as much as you can.”

”You’re free to rest once it’s dark.”

This group of farmers had been detained by roving bandits for several days, and their physical state was poor.

But Zong Shen wasn’t a philanthropist; the population’s role needed to be harnessed through labor.

Each bit of progress would offer a bit more security!

His words caused a bit of grievance among the farmers, but didn’t reduce their loyalty.

Obediently, they followed instructions—under the leadership of farmer San Pang—receiving tools outside the courtyard and then dutifully went to gather resources.
