Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Strategy Begins with Choosing Your Background

”Creatures from Earth, welcome to the era of all Lords.”

”Now beginning to load your regional module, generating initial attributes...”

Listening to this ethereal voice beside his ear,

Zong Shen felt he must be dreaming.

At this moment, he stood inside a completely white square room.

Leaving him somewhat bewildered.

Just a moment ago, he was clearly on his way to work.

The next moment, he found himself in this eerie place.

All around was empty, without any mark.

However, after this voice appeared, a light screen suddenly showed up in front of Zong Shen.

Displaying some information on it.

[Name: Zong Shen]

[Age: 21]

[Race: Earth/Human]

[Strength: 5]

[Agility: 5]

[Intelligence: 5]

[Charm: 4]

[Remaining Attribute Points: 4]

[Remaining Assignable Weapon Proficiency: 10]

[Detailed Attributes: (Click to Expand)]

[Weapon Proficiency: (Click to Expand)]

[Click ”Start” to choose your background, begin your Lord journey!]

Zong Shen was stunned looking at the contents of the light screen.

This is clearly a game!

”Lord Survival, is this a game of the Divine Spirits?”

Zong Shen muttered to himself.

He had already realized that the environment he was in was real, everything he saw and heard, was not a dream.

Just as he was distracted.

A prompt sounded again in his mind.

[Detected Gaia’s Will blessing you, acquiring the strategy talent, loading the Talent Module]

[Guide Module, loading complete]

”Gaia’s Will?”

”Gaia? Isn’t that Earth?”

Zong Shen snapped back to his senses, feeling everything became even more enigmatic.

The light screen in front still flickered.

Especially the ”Start” at the bottom.

Yet, as he gazed at the line at the bottom, he noticed a line of golden annotation appearing beside it.

He couldn’t help but look over.

”(Don’t waste time, quickly click start. ps: This is your first strategy suggestion)”

Zong Shen withdrew his gaze, walked to the edge, and touched the white and solid barrier.

The light screen moved with him.

The barriers on all sides were impregnable, with no flaws or entrances.

”Well, it seems the only option is to click this ’Start’ and try.”

Zong Shen sighed, reluctantly accepting the reality.

He reached out and clicked the ”Start” on the light screen.

The entire light screen suddenly brightened.

”Buzz!”

The surrounding space immediately began to distort, eventually becoming a complete darkness.

Just when Zong Shen was feeling somewhat puzzled.

The light screen appeared once more.

[Please select your background]

[Gender: Male/Female]

(Male: Strength +1, Charm +1

Female: Agility +1, Intelligence +1)

The first option was gender, and below it was again a line of small golden text.

Zong Shen glanced at the options, then at the small text, finally starting to understand what the so-called strategy module was.

This golden hint fully revealed the corresponding outcome of the choices.

However, the first choice was nothing to deliberate on.

Zong Shen’s psychological and physiological perception was that of a male.

He decisively chose male!

The light screen changed accordingly.

The second option appeared.

[Who was your father?]

(This is a very important choice!)

[Fallen Knight who lost glory]

(Intelligence +1, Charm +1, Weapon Mastery +1, Strong Strike +1, Riding Skill +1, Coach +1, Command +1, One-Handed Proficiency +10, Two-Handed Proficiency +10, Long Pole Skill +10, Reputation +100, Dented Old Round Shield, Initial Money +100)

[Battle-hardened Veteran]

[Poacher in the Forest]

(Strength +1, Agility +2, Strong Throwing +1, Tracking +1, Guide +1, Two-Handed Proficiency +10, Bow Mastery +30, Initial Money +30)

[Nomads on the Great Prairie]

(Strength +1, Agility +1, Strong Throwing +1, Mounted Archery +1, First Aid +1, Guide +1, Riding Skill +2, One-Handed Proficiency +10, Bow Mastery +30, Throwing +5, Dented Plain Cavalry Shield, Initial Money +15, Reputation +10)

[Thief mingling in the Marketplace]

(Agility +3, Running +2, Throwing +1, Item Management +1, Plunder +1, One-Handed Proficiency +20, Throwing +20, Initial Money +25, a pack of Flying Knives)

Zong Shen looked at these choices and the golden strategy hints below, a bit at a loss.

Though inexperienced with these attributes, his years of gaming experience allowed him to roughly guess.

Suddenly, he remembered something,

and tentatively asked.

”Is there any good recommendation?”

Sure enough, as soon as he spoke,

a line of golden text once again appeared in front of him.

(1, 3, 5 are all good, with attributes more suited for early survival)

Seeing this strategy hint, Zong Shen’s gaze again swept over these recommended strategy choices.

They were indeed options with more and broader attribute increases.

After thinking it over, it seemed the third option [Battle-hardened Veteran] was more suitable.

So he chose that one!

The light screen changed again, entering the third option.

[What did you do in your youth?]

(This is also very important!)

[Noble’s Attendant]

(Charm +1, Strength +1, Strong Strike +1, Persuasion +1, One-Handed Proficiency +15, Long Pole Skill +5)

[Artisan Apprentice]

(Intelligence +1, Strength +1, Engineering +1, Trade +1)

[Street Rascals]

(Agility +1, Intelligence +1, Reconnaissance +1, Plunder +1, One-Handed Proficiency +15, Throwing +5)

[Children of the Prairie]

(Strength +1, Agility +1, Mounted Archery +1, Strong Throwing +1, Bow Mastery +15, Reputation +5)

[Merchant’s Assistant]

(Intelligence +1, Charm +1, Item Management +1, Trade +1)

This time, Zong Shen seemed more certain, decisively choosing the first option [Noble’s Attendant].

The reason being, this choice increased attributes that partially overlapped with his previous choice.

With the principle of maximizing his initial advantage, Zong Shen decided to consistently choose options that shared attributes.

Only after entering this so-called ”Lord Survival” could he further explore the secrets of attributes.

Besides, Zong Shen already roughly understood that likely not everyone could see the hidden attributes behind each choice.

The reason he could see them was entirely due to the previously activated so-called Gaia’s blessing!

Same starting choices, but with strategic combinations, undoubtedly offered great initial advantages!

Thinking of this, Zong Shen felt his spirits lift a bit.
