Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 11: Chapter 11: That Crooked-Necked Tree Is Not So Simple

Zong Shen put the Kite Shield, Hunting Crossbow, and Crossbow Arrow into his personal item grid.

With an Iron Axe in one hand and an Iron Pickaxe in the other, he stood outside the small courtyard.

The Wolf Cavalry Korby was nowhere to be seen.

Only the three foolish farmers were still within a few hundred meters of the small courtyard, gathering resources.

After some education, the enthusiasm of the three farmers for labor had improved to some extent.

Tiezhu was diligently chopping down a tree as thick as a thigh.

Er Gou and Gou Dan, one collecting ma in the bushes, the other using an Iron Pickaxe to arduously gather stones.

Occasionally, they could also dig out a piece of black iron ore.

Zong Shen nodded in satisfaction.

He raised his wrist and glanced at his watch.

He had woken up just in the afternoon.

It was now around 1:40 pm.

The season here seemed to be spring.

The sunlight above was warm and cozy.

As long as these three foolish farmers maintained this efficiency.

By evening, Zong Shen should be able to build some basic but practical buildings.

Seeing the three farmers working diligently, the Wolf Cavalry also began to explore outside, and everything was developing in a good direction.

At that moment, Zong Shen felt hopeful for the future.

”Well then, I should get to work too!”

He said confidently.

Just when he was about to choose a direction to gather resources.

He suddenly remembered his guide module.

Since it’s a guide, shouldn’t it know the detailed situation of this area?

As soon as this question popped into his head.

Immediately, golden guide text appeared before his eyes.

(This belongs to the Avalon Kingdom, Lentax Giant City, Boss Bang, Azshara Battlefield Ruins)

(That’s right, the grassland beneath your feet used to be part of an ancient battlefield, eighteen thousand years ago it was part of the Elf Race city of Azshara, until the invasion of the Blood Burning Legion turned it into ruins, and after countless changes, it now belongs to the territory of the Avalon Kingdom)

Zong Shen looked at these two lines of golden text.

It seems this world has an extremely grand epic background.

The Elf Race, Blood Burning Legion, even the Avalon Kingdom is here.

Avalon culture also has its origins on Earth.

It is an important island in King Arthur’s legends, a holy land in Celtic mythology, and the central belief of ancient Druid religion.

”With this, wouldn’t this world also have Giant Dragons?”

He marveled.

”Oh right, almost forgot the main task.”

”Is there anything good around here?”

Zong Shen patted his head, remembering the main task.

So he asked bluntly.

His heart couldn’t help but be filled with anticipation.

If even this could be included in the guide, that would be incredible!

The next moment, golden text slowly appeared before his eyes.

(Let me tell you a secret, the crooked tree 50 meters southeast of the territory isn’t simple, take your Iron Pickaxe and go enjoy the joy of digging under the tree)

There really was a hint!

”Whoa! Unbelievable!”

Zong Shen couldn’t help but exclaim, instantly attracting the attention of the three farmers working nearby.

”What’s wrong, Lord?”

”What incredible thing happened?”

Er Gou whispered to Gou Dan beside him.

”I don’t know...”

”But as loyal subordinates, I think we should go ask.”

Gou Dan said cleverly.

They were quite adept at flattery and bootlicking.

So they quickly left their resources and tools in place and hurried over.

Tiezhu, who was gathering further away, saw Er Gou and the others running over, and although he didn’t know what was happening, he naturally wouldn’t miss it.

So the three foolish farmers rushed over to Zong Shen’s side.

”Huff... huff...”

”Lord, we’re here to protect you!”

”What incredible thing happened, Lord?”

The three panted heavily, eagerly said.

But Zong Shen’s face was full of an uncontrollable smile.

This made the three farmers even more confused.

After Zong Shen calmed his mood.

He gave each of the three farmers a kick on the back.

”What incredible thing happened?”

”Of course, it’s freaking incredible!”

”Shoo shoo shoo!”

”Why did you come over, hurry back to work!”

Zong Shen waved to dismiss them.

The three foolish farmers rushed over and quickly waddled away.

Zong Shen rubbed his hands together, eagerly looking around.

”Southeast! Southeast! Southeast!”

”Right!”

”Where is southeast?”

At this time, a golden arrow appeared, pointing to the right of Zong Shen.

There was a conspicuous bare crooked tree.

The target was very clear!

Zong Shen put away the Iron Axe, leaving only the Iron Pickaxe in his hand.

He walked briskly towards the crooked tree.

The crooked tree’s appearance seemed ordinary.

Surrounded by lush grass.

Zong Shen took one look.

He blew into his palm and rubbed them forcefully.

He grabbed the Iron Pickaxe and began digging at the soft grass beneath the tree.

Soil clods and grass debris flew everywhere.

After clearing the weeds, it revealed the fertile black soil below.

Then, Zong Shen began the digging operation.

After more than ten minutes.

A pit about half a meter deep had been dug beneath the tree by Zong Shen.

Suddenly, his pickaxe seemed to hit something hard, and he slowed his action.

He bent down and reached into the soil, pulling out the hard object he found.

Then, Zong Shen was stunned.

It was a skull.

It looked very similar to a human’s.

Except that the eye sockets were larger.

This skull looked very special.

The bone texture resembled jade, smooth, translucent, and extremely hard.

However, at the back of the skull, a pitch-black arrow was lodged.

This arrow was a third of the way inserted into the skull.

Seen from the front, it looked like a skeletal aesthetic artwork.

At this point, the golden guide appeared just in time.

(Eighteen thousand years ago, an Elf Race person in Azshara City, there might be some ancient Elf Race items in his backpack)

(The Blood-Burning Arrow shot by the Evil Spirit Shooter in the Blood Burning Legion, decades without decay, is quite a good arrow)

These two hints appeared one after another.

Allowing Zong Shen to understand the cause and effect.

He didn’t expect that the arrow on the skull was actually a treasure.

He placed the skull on the empty ground beside him, not panicking too much.

After all, the grassland underfoot was the ruins of an ancient battlefield over thousands of years ago.

Finding some bones was perfectly normal.

He then reached into the soil again and found more scattered jade-like skeletal remains and a backpack made of unknown animal leather.

It also resisted decay for millennia.

He carefully checked the soil underfoot to ensure no other foreign objects were left before climbing out of the pit.

He was ready to start examining his loot.
