Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1948: Chapter 1948: He Keeps Running Away

”Your medical skills are too poor, what right do you have to be doctors? Get out of my sight!” Ruan Tianling suddenly smashed his phone, looking very angry.

Jian Yufei stared at him and asked, ”The result is still the same, isn’t it?”

”They’re all useless! Let’s go, we’re going abroad for a check-up today. I’ll find you the best doctors!” He grabbed her hand, ready to leave.

Jian Yufei stopped him, ”Ruan Tianling, there’s no need for a check-up; whatever the check, the result will be the same.”

Ruan Tianling turned back, speaking gently, ”The domestic medical level is too poor; it’s more advanced abroad. We’ll go abroad. Trust me, you’ll be fine.”

”What if the result is still the same after the check-up abroad?”

”It won’t be! I guarantee, you won’t be sick.” Ruan Tianling said confidently.

In the past, he never spoke without assurance, but now he kept saying definitive things, knowing the result would be the same. What does this indicate?

It indicates he is constantly avoiding reality, convincing himself.

As if he firmly believed she wasn’t sick, then she wouldn’t be sick.

Actually, it’s still a kind of avoidance, an unwillingness to accept reality.

Jian Yufei worried he might have problems.

”What do you have to guarantee?” she asked. ”Earlier you said I was fine, but what was the result? Ruan Tianling, admit the reality, I am sick. I’ve been diagnosed with leukemia! You repeatedly telling me I’m not sick is just giving me hope and then disappointment. It’s very cruel!”

Ruan Tianling was shocked, his gaze seemed hollow, ”Yufei, you really aren’t sick, you won’t have any problems...”

”No, I am sick. But there might still be hope to cure it. Leukemia isn’t a terminal illness, Ruan Tianling, please don’t worry too much, okay?”

Even though she was the one who was sick, she had to comfort him.

Jian Yufei even felt it was somewhat comical.

Ruan Tianling took a deep breath, calmly saying, ”You’re right, your illness can be cured. Don’t be afraid, I will definitely find someone to cure you.”

He finally returned to normal, Jian Yufei felt much relieved.

”I trust you.” She nodded with a smile.

Ruan Tianling’s throat moved, he pulled her body over fiercely and kissed her deeply—

From noon until now, his nerves had been tightly wound, only then did they start to relax.

He didn’t want to accept the fact that she was sick, but now he accepted it.

However, he believes her illness can be cured.

The doctors all said she was in the early stages of leukemia, which is easy to treat, as long as it can be cured.

Ruan Tianling held great hope, believing she would get better.

So after returning to normal, he turned back into the calm and steady man he was.

...

After a long kiss, he carried Jian Yufei to the large bed, carefully placing her on it.

Jian Yufei thought he would want her, but he just held her lying down together, doing nothing.

He stared at her face, deeply looking, reluctant to blink.

Jian Yufei asked with a smile, ”What are you thinking?”

Ruan Tianling smiled slightly, ”I’m thinking I was too irrational today.”

”You’re sick, but I was even more out of control than you. Yufei, I’ve tried very hard to control my emotions; I didn’t hurt you, did I?”

Honestly, except for the loss of control on the beach, his subsequent calmness completely exceeded her expectations.

She thought he would be in great pain, behaving abnormally.

Fortunately, he didn’t do that, he managed to calm down.

Jian Yufei shook her head, ”You didn’t hurt me, you did very well.”
