Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 2787: Chapter 2788: A Defeated Army Is Doomed

He was both shocked and furious in his heart! However, he also understood that Ye Luo hadn’t delivered a fatal blow to him, otherwise, with the power of those flames, he might have been reduced to ashes in that instant!

Thinking of this, his face became extremely grim. He knew that this time he had lost! And lost completely!

Sure enough, when he lifted his head, he saw that among those Martial King Realm soldiers, only one managed to escape, while the rest were slaughtered by Ye Luo!

As for those Heavenly Martial Realm soldiers, they were killed in an instant, with no chance to defend themselves!

Ye Luo was overwhelmingly powerful to such an extent! Instantly, Nameless felt a bitterness in his heart.

Nameless realized the situation was lost, so he had to make plans for himself. This failure in attacking Mount Wudang meant the King of Huainan wouldn’t spare him, even though his identity was somewhat special. He was aware of the King of Huainan’s cruelty.

”Sect Masters, what are you waiting for!” Ye Luo shouted loudly, and dozens of Martial King Realm experts flew out from all directions.

These people were naturally the sect masters from other Sects trapped at Mount Wudang, along with the elders from the Wudang Sect.

At this moment, two thousand elite soldiers were in complete chaos. Without the advantage of formations, how could they resist these strong experts?

These sect masters, like tigers descending the mountain, tore into the soldiers.

The soldiers were indeed battle-tested, forming small formations from dozens of soldiers even amidst brief chaos!

Originally, these soldiers only had the cultivation of the Earth Martial Realm or Heavenly Martial Realm, but by forming a battle formation and concentrating their mana, even these sect masters found it difficult to take them down quickly.

However, these sect masters were not easy to deal with. They soon found the weakness of this small formation, and once it was broken, the soldiers began to suffer casualties.

More importantly, these soldiers were now leaderless. Nameless didn’t command them at all, because if the King of Huainan targeted him, he would flee to Ye Luo, making him and these elite soldiers enemies, thus he wished for more casualties among the soldiers.

Soon, these two thousand elite soldiers began to fall into chaos and began to retreat down the mountain!

Although Nameless was no longer leading them, other commanders were present. With the dozens of sect masters and Ye Luo, they could only create disorder among the soldiers. As for annihilating these two thousand soldiers, that’s simply a pipe dream!

Unless there were dozens of Martial Emperor Realm experts, it might be possible.

Ye Luo naturally understood this fact. In reality, he had the possibility of stopping these twenty thousand soldiers, considering their lack of morale and resistance; should the Allied Forces come to block them, coupled with Ye Luo and other experts, they could inflict more than half casualties on these elite soldiers!

But in that case, the Allied Forces wouldn’t fare better either! Their losses would undoubtedly be as significant as the King of Huainan’s elite forces.

Whether these Allied Forces lived or died wasn’t a concern; the problem was, Ye Luo commanded them using a forbidden technique, and if the Allied Forces suffered massive losses, Ye Luo would face backlash!

Of course, this didn’t mean Ye Luo would easily let these elite soldiers go.

”Friends at the foot of the mountain, what are you waiting for? Once these elite soldiers retreat, they certainly won’t trouble Wudang Sect, so their target will be you! Now they are utterly defeated, what are you still waiting for!” Ye Luo’s voice echoed around Mount Wudang.

Soon, the cultivators from various sects ambushed around appeared with bloodshot eyes.

Though they knew Ye Luo was obviously using them, Ye Luo was right. If they missed this chance, what awaited them was only death!

After all, they all hailed from minor sects and had no ties to the Wudang Sect, so naturally, they couldn’t receive Ye Luo’s protection.

Therefore, they were once in despair, and now they charged towards those elite soldiers.

They hadn’t planned to return alive; these cultivators might be on par with the soldiers in strength, but now fighting desperately, they seemed to exceed the soldiers in power.

Moreover, the soldiers had no will to fight anymore; a defeated army is doomed to fail, and under passive defense, their combat strength greatly diminished.

In the blink of an eye, these elite soldiers had suffered countless casualties!

”Are you just going to sit idly by and watch these soldiers perish?” Ye Luo approached Nameless, naturally seeing through Nameless’s thoughts, so there was no need for restraint.

”Haha, didn’t you already anticipate this? No need to ask me, but you, if I seek refuge with you, you must assure my safety!”

Clearly, Nameless feared the King of Huainan’s retaliation; everyone knew the King despised betrayal, having personally executed two rebellious offspring. What chance did others have?

Soon, these elite soldiers retreated from Mount Wudang. There was a rule in the army, if the commanding officer left, his subordinate officer would automatically become the true commander.

But even so, the casualty count this time likely exceeded two thousand!

This was a considerable loss for the punitive forces.

More importantly, they were left without a commander. The newly appointed commander didn’t know the King of Huainan’s orders, so they could only wait for his message.

As for the Wudang Sect, this was an absolute victory, eliminating over two thousand punitive force soldiers, achievements comparable to a small-scale war.

Of course, more people wondered why Ye Luo didn’t deploy the Allied Forces!

If deployed timely, they could’ve detained over half of the punitive force soldiers.

But now Ye Luo was highly acclaimed, no one dared question him.

In the grand hall, only Ye Luo and Nameless remained.

Naturally, aside from the punitive forces, hardly anyone had seen Nameless. His entry to Mount Wudang didn’t attract external attention.

”Now can you tell me what the Great Crown Prince’s mission is?” Ye Luo glanced at him and spoke.

Nameless shook his head, ”That’s inappropriate, if the Great Crown Prince found out, he would surely punish me!”

”Since that’s the case, then get out, and prepare for the King of Huainan’s endless pursuits.”

”Ye Luo, you wouldn’t be so ruthless, would you?” Nameless stared wide-eyed at him.

”You are welcome to try! See if I can do it or not!” Ye Luo replied coldly.

”Alright, I figured you would pressure me, so I’ll reveal everything to you!” Nameless sighed helplessly.
