Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 2762: Chapter 2763: Performing the Forbidden Technique

Ye Luo looked at them coldly.

”How I got in doesn’t matter; I am now your Allied Forces commander, and yet you don’t bow and kneel to me—this is a crime punishable by death!”

Immediately, these disciples looked at each other in confusion.

”Commander, ignorance is not a crime. We’ve never seen the commander before, so how could we know you would enter the tent in such a manner? We thought you were a thief with ulterior motives!” said a disciple of the Earth Martial Realm indifferently.

In terms of cultivation, he was the highest among these ten or so disciples.

Ye Luo narrowed his eyes immediately. If not for needing to use a forbidden technique, he would have killed this disciple already.

The most taboo in the art of command is soldiers being disrespectful to their commander! Such behavior in peacetime ensures that these soldiers will not wholeheartedly obey the commander’s orders in battle.

”Oh? You are quite sharp with your words!” Ye Luo said coldly.

Then, a pure demonic qi was released from his body.

Naturally, he used the forbidden techniques of the Demon Race.

This cultivation technique wasn’t actually created by the Demon Race; it was obtained by their great figures from somewhere, with minor modifications at last. Therefore, using this forbidden technique to control cultivators of other races is equally effective.

In the next moment, the eyes of these ten disciples became dazed.

The truly wonderful aspect of this cultivation technique is that it doesn’t harm the controlled cultivators at all. When the forbidden technique is lifted, the cultivators are the same as before.

Soon, the bodies of these ten disciples softened and fell to the ground, snoring away.

Ye Luo squinted. In his mind, he even established a certain connection with these ten disciples.

Of course, this connection does not mean that Ye Luo uses his Divine Sense to completely control these ten disciples. Even with Ye Luo’s strong Divine Sense, he cannot do it as there are more than seven thousand cultivators; how much Divine Sense would be consumed to control these disciples? His Sea of Consciousness would collapse first!

The profound mystery of this forbidden technique lies in the subtle changing of the disciples’ mentality! They no longer resist Ye Luo’s orders; instead, they feel that disobeying him would lead to their destruction!

And actually, if these disciples do harbor feelings of rebellion against Ye Luo, the forbidden technique would immediately backfire, though not too severely!

In summary, with this forbidden technique, these disciples haven’t changed much; it’s just hard for them to develop a rebellious mindset against Ye Luo’s orders!

Over time, their loyalty to Ye Luo will grow stronger.

However, there are drawbacks. For instance, if Ye Luo retracts the forbidden technique, their hatred for him will multiply!

Moreover, those with great magical power have a certain chance of breaking this forbidden technique! Of course, this also relates to the strength of the mindset of the user.

Take Ye Luo for instance; with his Divine Sense, unless great figures appear, ordinary Martial Emperor Realm experts cannot break this forbidden technique.

Besides, the consumption of Divine Sense by this forbidden technique is remarkably low, posing no burden on his own cultivation.

Then, he began executing these tactics, wandering through the tents. But for Ye Luo, this was destined to be a sleepless night, as the seven thousand cultivators were enough to keep him busy all night.

Meanwhile, other sects were also urgently discussing countermeasures.

Qiankun Sect.

The Sect Master stood respectfully before the Ancestor, but his face was extremely anxious.

”Ancestor, please think of a solution. If those seven thousand people really rebel, Wudang Sect will naturally be overwhelmed, but even our Qiankun Sect will be affected!”

The Sect Master felt quite helpless. Initially, assembling the Allied Forces seemed to be a great thing, yet it led to such an unmanageable situation!

If only Ye Luo had been more discreet, perhaps this current predicament wouldn’t have arisen.

”Oh? Didn’t they send those people to Wudang Sect? Why should we be concerned then?” The Ancestor chuckled softly.

”Ancestor, do you have such faith in Ye Luo?” the Sect Master asked, puzzled.

In terms of age and temperament, he didn’t have high hopes for Ye Luo!

Though Ye Luo had outstanding strength, his age compared to those great figures was overly young, and his actions so brazen—something the Sect Master couldn’t comprehend why the Ancestor praised him so much.

”It’s not about my faith; it’s about what he will surely accomplish. You’ll know tomorrow!” The Ancestor said mildly.

The Sect Master sighed bitterly. But since the Ancestor had spoken, all he could do was wait.

”I hope he can make it through the night!” The Sect Master spoke in a complicated tone.

The Ancestor also gazed at the starry sky outside. Coincidentally, a meteor shower streaked across the sky, and the Sect Master’s complexion drastically changed upon witnessing it.

”Ancestor, this meteor shower is an omen—could it be indicative of us sects!”

At this point, he dared not continue.

The Ancestor merely shook his head, smiling, ”You sure know how to flatter yourself. These stars are exceedingly bright, clearly the symbols of nobility!”

The Sect Master was stunned beyond measure upon hearing this, ”Is what the Ancestor said true?”

The Ancestor then laughed heartily, ”It’s just a meteor shower, what omen is there to see? It’s merely self-perturbation!”

...

The army of King of Huainan could appear at any time, and the defensive power of other sects had also significantly increased.

Moreover, many sect leaders started preparing to flee; to the leaders of small sects, the sect itself isn’t as crucial, because as long as they have strength, they can rebuild a sect anywhere!

Unlike the Great Sects, they didn’t feel despair in their hearts.

Even if King of Huainan blacklisted them, he wouldn’t focus too much on them, considering them mere ants in his perspective.

This night, countless cultivators stayed awake!

At dawn, those sects hurriedly gathered at the foot of Mount Wudang, their first query being whether the seven thousand people had rioted!

However, the answer was inconclusive!

Indeed, the spies left on-site were isolated by Ye Luo’s formation, unable to ascertain what transpired within.

”Useless, all useless!”

Instantly, numerous elders began cursing vehemently.
