Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 2784: Chapter 2785: No Way Back! A Battle Is Inevitable!

”How is it, isn’t it surprising?” Nameless laughed.

To be honest, Ye Luo was indeed a bit surprised.

Originally, Nameless, Luo Xue, and the other two were each carrying out their own missions within this third power, developing their own forces. Ye Luo hadn’t expected them to meet so soon.

Their missions were quite secretive, and if discovered, they would surely be exterminated by the strong individuals of the third power.

Just like this meeting between him and Nameless, which was undertaken at great risk.

”It is a bit surprising, but if you came alone, what could you change?”

Now that King of Huainan had pressed his forces to the border, even if a Martial Emperor realm strong person came, nothing could change. Let alone Nameless’s strength, which was not on par with Ye Luo’s.

Nameless chuckled, ”On my own, naturally not much, but what if I brought twenty thousand elite soldiers?”

”What!” Ye Luo immediately exclaimed, ”You mean!”

Nameless looked at Ye Luo with pride, ”How about it? Surprised? Unexpected? Admiring me, are you?”

When they were in the Demon God’s Hall, Ye Luo had completely suppressed him, but now, he had turned the tables.

”That King of Huainan is naturally suspicious. How could he trust you with these twenty thousand elite soldiers? There must be something hidden!” Ye Luo frowned.

Even if Nameless came to the third power earlier than him, it was impossible to gain the favor of King of Huainan to be entrusted with commanding twenty thousand elite soldiers.

”Hehe, you don’t need to worry about that. You got your ten thousand shrimp soldiers and crab generals using special means too. Anyway, now I can command those twenty thousand elite soldiers, which makes it my strength!” Nameless laughed.

Ye Luo had nothing to say about that.

”Then tell me, what exactly are you leading twenty thousand elite soldiers here for!” Ye Luo asked quietly.

Nameless glanced at him, ”It’s not that I don’t want to tell you, but this is the Great Crown Prince’s mission. At the right time, the Great Crown Prince will naturally inform you!”

Ye Luo understood. The reason the Great Crown Prince hadn’t informed him was that his strength wasn’t enough!

So, what’s the purpose of these twenty thousand elite soldiers!

”You know that Mount Wudang is my territory, so why are you surrounding me!” Ye Luo asked seriously.

No matter what grudges existed between them before, they were now considered to be on the same side.

”It’s not up to me to decide. With Mount Wudang’s fame, if my twenty thousand elite soldiers don’t attack you, King of Huainan will become suspicious. I came this time to discuss a strategy with you!” Nameless said helplessly.

”Is this the surprise you have for me?”

Nameless immediately laughed heartily, ”This is nothing. Whether it’s the twenty thousand elite soldiers or your ten thousand allied forces, they have nothing to do with us. At most, we’ll just leave. But we have to complete this mission!”

”So what exactly are you trying to say?” Ye Luo looked at him and asked.

”What I’m saying is to annihilate your ten thousand allied forces, and then we’ll complete the mission together!” Nameless suddenly said.

Ye Luo had already guessed it and slowly shook his head upon hearing it.

”That’s not possible!”

”Ye Luo, your ten thousand soldiers are just shrimp soldiers and crab generals, and they aren’t even your strength. If I kill your allied forces, King of Huainan will surely trust me, and then we can complete the mission! Maybe you don’t know what the mission is, but I’m telling you, our mission is the same, and there is no conflict!”

Ye Luo sighed, ”In any case, those people are soldiers I’m leading, I won’t just let you annihilate them!”

”But you know, I have no way out!” Nameless frowned.

”So! Neither of us needs to retreat!”

”Does it really have to be like this?” Nameless asked, his face somewhat unpleasant, ”I can tell you, my twenty thousand elite soldiers could level Mount Wudang in just a few breaths. I came this time to consider your saving me, but if war truly breaks out, we won’t be able to prevent the consequences. You better think it through!”

Upon hearing this, Ye Luo laughed, ”Then go ahead and try!”

Previously, Ye Luo dared not face battle because he feared King of Huainan, who was rumored to be a military god, often defeating demons with smaller forces.

However, Nameless never commanded troops, so even if his forces are strong, Ye Luo wasn’t afraid!

”Well, Ye Luo, if that’s the case, don’t blame me then!”

With that, Nameless disappeared from view, leaving the great hall.

But to Ye Luo, this was actually good news. He immediately summoned the Sect Masters again.

”Sect Leader Ye, you summoned us late at night, is there something important?” asked the Sect Leader of the Qiankun Sect.

”Naturally, it’s about the battle with twenty thousand elite soldiers tomorrow!” Ye Luo smiled.

Seeing Ye Luo’s expression, the Sect Masters were puzzled. With twenty thousand elite soldiers pressing the border, he was still able to smile and act confidently. Could it be the situation had changed?

”Sect Leader Ye, is there some good news?” a Sect Leader immediately asked.

”Not necessarily good news, but there’s a possibility to get through this crisis!” Ye Luo said.

Hearing this, the Sect Masters’ eyes lit up.

They had lost contact with their sects. If surrounded, they might perish. Now, if they could escape, their chances of survival were much higher.

”Sect Leader Ye, tell us what to do, we will do as you say!” These Sect Masters eagerly volunteered.

Ye Luo needed their assistance. Although these Sect Masters had not commanded troops, their strength was evident, and with their experience and Ye Luo’s command, opposing twenty thousand elite soldiers was possible.

”Everyone, listen, I’ll share my plan with you now!”

The next day, just at dawn, the sound of battle roars shook the air beneath Mount Wudang. Evidently, the twenty thousand elite soldiers were making a move.

Among the many mountain ranges, Mount Wudang was not small. Even with twenty thousand soldiers, they could only guard key positions. Surrounding Mount Wudang entirely was impossible, not even with a hundred thousand soldiers.

Then, a harsh and shrill sound echoed, and the twenty thousand elite soldiers started a slow advance up the mountain!

Others didn’t understand why King of Huainan changed the battle strategy, but Ye Luo understood!

It was entirely due to Nameless’s actions; he believed these twenty thousand troops were invincible, so he adopted a tank-like advance, inch by inch, which was essentially an idiotic move in warfare.
