The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

”But every time Beibei comes back, she says she’s not hungry, and the good food just goes to waste!”

”This time I thought maybe Beibei had already eaten outside, so I, I just—”

Aunt Fang looked troubled, as if to say: It’s really not my fault, who made Ye Beibei have a ”record”?

”Who told you I ate outside? I’d like to eat, but do I have money? Ha, even when I come back from school, I take the bus and ride a shared bike!”

Ye Beibei retorted with a cold laugh.

In the past, she refused to spend Ye Cheeng’s money out of dignity.

She also refused to accept Qiu Wanting’s various ”generosities.”

But, on the rooftop, after hearing Senior Su’s words, she completely awakened.

Yes, Ye Cheeng is her biological father, and he should fulfill his parental obligations towards her.

Eating his food and spending his money is only right!

Ye Cheeng, because of being a ”guardian,” trapped her in a wealthy family, even though she had previously refused and wanted to stay alone in the house left by her grandparents.

Ye Cheeng did not agree.

He is a successful person, he wants face, wants reputation, wants to be a ”loving father” praised by everyone.

So, using his status as a guardian, he forcibly dragged Ye Beibei into this place she utterly resented.

Now, Ye Beibei is simply ”using his own spear against his own shield.”

”Isn’t your Aunt Qiu giving you pocket money? You just don’t want it yourself!”

Hearing Ye Beibei’s question of ”Do I have money,” Ye Cheeng’s face looked even worse.

This damned girl is indeed here to collect debts.

Wanting gave her pocket money, she didn’t want it, yet now acts like the family is mistreating her.

And still talking about taking the bus and riding a shared bike!

No wonder Chairman Feng, who lives next door, always seemed as if he wanted to say something but didn’t.

Probably Chairman Feng saw Ye Beibei riding a shared bike, misunderstood, yet felt it inappropriate to ask directly, which led to—

Embarrassing!

Truly an embarrassing little brat!

”Why should I take other people’s money? Do I feel people don’t call me a ’freeloader in the wealthy family’ enough?”

Ye Beibei sneered repeatedly, saying words that made Ye Cheeng very uncomfortable.

However, this time Ye Cheeng’s discomfort wasn’t aimed at Ye Beibei.

It was because of those words ”freeloader in the wealthy family!”

What do you mean by freeloader?

This is the Ye Family, not the Qiu Family!

Even though Ye Cheeng doesn’t favor this nominal daughter, deep down he still acknowledges she’s his blood.

Ye Cheeng is both insecure and arrogant; he became the Prince Consort of a wealthy family, living off Qiu Wanting.

Yet deep down, he is traditionally chauvinistic.

Fortunately, as Qiu Wanting aged, she wasn’t as arrogant and willful as she was when she was younger, and showed more of a virtuous wife and loving mother demeanor.

She was also very gentle and caring towards Ye Cheeng, gradually making him forget he was a dependent Phoenix Man.

Ye Beibei was mocked and disliked by others outside, and Ye Cheeng was aware of it.

The reason behind it, Ye Cheeng vaguely suspected.

But for such things, though he understood, he couldn’t speak out.

Yet today, for some unknown reason, Ye Beibei actually dared to say ”freeloader in the wealthy family.”

Those words were like slaps, heavily hitting Ye Cheeng in the face.

Ripping off Ye Cheeng’s mask of a successful person, forcing him completely back to ”reality”—you, Ye Cheeng, are just a kept man who climbed up by relying on a woman!

Even now, after starting a company, people might call him President Ye openly, but secretly they still laugh at him as the Prince Consort of the Qiu Family.

Ye Cheeng felt both ashamed and angry, with a trace of discontent deep inside him.

This discontent wasn’t just aimed at the trouble-causing Ye Beibei, but also at Qiu Wanting.

Perhaps wanting to prove he wasn’t living off others, or maybe wanting to reclaim the dignity of a man in front of his children, Ye Cheeng didn’t scold Ye Beibei, but directly took out his phone and transferred 100,000 yuan to her!

”This is your pocket money! You’re my daughter, the second young lady of the Ye Family, not a freeloader!”

Now that he’s really weighing the situation, his thinking shifted.

Looking again at Aunt Fang standing by, he couldn’t help but suspect: Was Aunt Fang’s neglect of Beibei unintentional or deliberate?

You must give face to the owner while hitting the dog!

Aunt Fang is just a hired maid, yet dares to treat the young mistress of the house like this, she—

A glint of malice flashed in his eyes.

Ye Cheeng indeed doesn’t like Ye Beibei, but no matter how unworthy she is, she is still his daughter.

He can be indifferent to her, but cannot tolerate others bullying her!

Because it’s not merely bullying Ye Beibei, but also not taking him, Ye Cheeng, the head of the family, seriously!
