The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Qingshan Village over there definitely won’t oppose.

Liu Chuanfu stomped his feet, hands behind his back, and headed towards the brigade headquarters located in Qingshan Village.

The next day, everyone went to work. At noon, during lunch break, an excited Educated Youth said—

”Hey, did you hear? Qingliu Primary School is reopening! They need six teachers.”

”Really? Qingliu Primary School is hiring teachers? What are the requirements?”

”What requirements could there be? At least they must have graduated from middle school and be able to teach those elementary students.”

”I doubt it. Have you heard about that Teacher Yan? He didn’t even finish elementary school, can’t read a newspaper fully, yet he’s a primary school language teacher!”

”...He’s a model worker injured on the job, that’s different.”

Just like the initially recommended college students, it wasn’t their knowledge but their calloused hands that were relied upon.

”Exactly, exactly, the entire Qingliu Primary School has only one Teacher Yan. The rest of the teachers are basically middle school students.”

Ma Xinhua was very tempted.

Looking at the entire Qingliu Team, there might be two or three middle schoolers, but high school graduates are almost non-existent.

And within their Educated Youth Corps, there are five high schoolers, including herself.

The other four are Zhuoya, Han Dongmei, Heh Yuntian, and Chen Jianjun.

Chen Jianjun is returning to the city to work as a laborer, Zhuoya is his partner, she will definitely go with him.

Han Dongmei’s family is wealthy, they don’t care about the teacher’s income.

As for Heh Yuntian, he can easily earn dozens of dollars just by writing a little story to amuse children.

The salary of a village school teacher isn’t much, eight dollars plus six work points, yet requires staying at the school every day.

Ma Xinhua thought, if she were Heh Yuntian, she wouldn’t care about a teaching job either.

All four of them are out of the picture, which leaves her, Ma Xinhua, with the highest education level?

Knowing that the Qingliu Team people are xenophobic, but the primary school is hiring six teachers, and there are so many Educated Youths, they must reserve at least one spot.

Selecting among the Educated Youths, Ma Xinhua was confident she wouldn’t lose!

”Even if us Educated Youths are cultured, those rustic folks wouldn’t choose us. The captain’s family and vice captain’s family both have children who finished middle school, and there are military heroes’ families to be taken care of...”

A light and easy job like a primary school teacher is unlikely to be offered to these outside Educated Youths.

Liu Weihong was very pessimistic, sighing as she spoke.

As soon as she finished speaking, the room instantly quieted down.

Indeed, if there were an open exam, fair competition, as Educated Youths, they wouldn’t be afraid of anything.

But... that’s impossible.

However, soon, ”impossible” happened.

Liu Chuanfu personally went to the Educated Youth Corps to tell He Tiantian: ”Educated Youth Heh, Qingliu Primary School is reopening, why don’t you go be the language teacher and teach the kids to write essays well!”

While he was speaking, there was a hint of seeking praise, ”Educated Youth Heh, you have no idea, how much effort I put in, for you to be the only Educated Youth to become a teacher. I don’t know how many good words I’ve said for you.”

Such a good job as a teacher, who wouldn’t be tempted?

Liu Chuanfu himself, if it weren’t for Educated Youth Heh’s ability to teach his children to write essays, he wouldn’t have helped him.

Leaving such a good opportunity for his daughter wouldn’t be bad, right?

His daughter Cuzhi has also finished middle school, definitely qualified to teach primary school.

Although Liu Chuanfu indeed did it for his grandchildren and the children of Liujiaao, when it came to taking credit, he wasn’t humble at all.

He Tiantian was a bit troubled, ”Thank you, Vice Captain, but I really don’t want to be a teacher!”

Liu Chuanfu’s eyes widened: ”What? You don’t want to?”

Is this person foolish?

To not want to take on such a good job as a teacher, contested by so many?

”A teacher needs to educate and nurture, it’s such a huge responsibility, I’m afraid I can’t bear it!”

”One mistake, and you could mislead the students!”

He Tiantian said seriously, without the slightest intention of making excuses.

But Liu Chuanfu didn’t listen, puzzlingly said, ”Then why did you previously teach the kids in our village, helping them write essays?”

”That was just tutoring, not real teaching, and I’m not a proper teacher!”

He Tiantian confessed, ”I’ve been in Liujiaao for one or two years, I’m sure you and people in the village know a bit about me.”

”I’m just too proud, aloof, not good at socializing, and not that great at farming either.”

”I have too many shortcomings, and my reputation hasn’t been good lately, making me a teacher would easily invite criticism.”

”I can occasionally give the children some classes, teach them writing techniques, but as for becoming a proper teacher, let’s just forget about it!”
