The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Hongde International School is a famous private school in the Provincial City.

From elementary school to high school, there are a total of twelve grades, with an annual tuition of over a hundred thousand.

In the Provincial City, it is one of the top two Noble Family schools.

Those who attend are either rich or noble.

Of course, there are exceptions, such as those recruited by the school with scholarships and fee waivers to boost the admission rate.

Another example is those who aren’t actually wealthy but have some sort of distant relative connection with a real millionaire, thus being taken care of as a hanger-on.

Feng Yuyao from the Senior Two competition class belongs to the former; her family background is ordinary, but her academic performance is very outstanding.

During the high school entrance exam, she achieved the second highest score in the city.

Hongde International School promised a full tuition waiver for three years of high school, and an annual scholarship of thirty thousand, so Feng Yuyao, to alleviate her family’s burden and to obtain better educational resources, gave up the best public high school in the Provincial City and chose the high school division of Hongde School.

She’s skilled in academics and looks pretty as well, but due to her family background, she felt somewhat out of place in a campus full of rich and beauty and handsome talents.

In fact, when she had just entered Hongde High School, in her first year of Senior One, she experienced isolation, exclusion, and other forms of cold violence.

Of course, this novel world is not an idol campus story or a campus-themed erotic story; it’s an urban Superpower Black Technology tale.

The middle school era is just a small segment in the life experiences of the male and female leads.

The female lead is not a pitiful Cinderella being forcefully taken, but a strong woman comparable to the male lead.

Just starting Senior One, she was targeted by the surroundings’ millionaire daughters.

But she didn’t act like a victim, only knowing how to cry, nor did she simply leave Hongde High School.

She cleverly collected evidence, then negotiated with the school and the parents committee, not only receiving tens of thousands in mental compensation but also making everyone realize: She’s hard to mess with!

From then on, regardless of how those Eldest Miss and Young Masters secretly disliked Feng Yuyao, they wouldn’t openly provoke her.

To put it bluntly, the reason they targeted Feng Yuyao earlier wasn’t that they truly disliked her, but because they thought she was easy to bully.

When they realized that Feng Yuyao was not a soft target, but a hard stone, they dared not bully her anymore.

After all, Hongde School isn’t just about the annoying Feng Yuyao; there are others they can choose to vent their emotions on at will.

Like Ye Beibei.

Ye Beibei’s family condition is poor, and she doesn’t excel academically.

She and Feng Yuyao definitely do not belong to the same situation.

Feng Yuyao may not be part of the millionaire class, but she got into Hongde School through her own capabilities.

And Ye Beibei, she’s one of those who rely on a slight connection with a millionaire to shamelessly take advantage as a ”relation account.”

Her stepmother is the Eldest Miss of the wealthy Qiu Family, and it is through Ms. Qiu’s high tuition fees that she managed to attend Hongde High School.

A girl like Feng Yuyao who ”relies on herself” has already suffered cold violence; needless to say, someone like Ye Beibei, a wealthy family hanger-on.

Bang!

Ye Beibei was locked on the rooftop of the school building again.

She was curled up in the corner, her eyes hollow, she couldn’t cry anymore.

She’s lost count of how many times she’s been bullied.

She’s sought help from teachers, her father, and her brother; but they just told her to behave, to be more obedient, and not to argue with those students.

And that damn saying ”it takes two to tango,” ”why do they bully only you,” completely shut Ye Beibei’s mouth.

Exactly, why don’t they bully others, only picking on her Ye Beibei?

Isn’t it because she’s a despised wealthy family hanger-on?

Isn’t it because she doesn’t have a mother to back her up?

Bullying her doesn’t cause trouble for them.

Of course, if Ye Beibei is willing to bow to her stepmother Ms. Qiu and beg her to stand up for her, Ms. Qiu could solve all her problems with just one phone call.

But, Ye Beibei doesn’t want to!

Perhaps to outsiders, Ms. Qiu is seen as a magnanimous, tolerant woman; after all, Ye Beibei was originally awarded to her mother, but after her mother passed away, Ms. Qiu still graciously brought Ye Beibei into the family.

Feed her, clothe her, and even pay tens of thousands a year in tuition, allowing her to attend the best international school in the Provincial City alongside her biological daughter!

As someone with no blood relation to the Qiu Family, Ye Beibei enjoys all this and should be grateful to Ms. Qiu.
