The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 1147: Chapter 433: True Love’s Counterpart Group (Part 9)_2

Falling in love with a married man and even becoming pregnant.

When the married man learned of the female student’s pregnancy, not only did he fail to fulfill the promise of ”divorce and marry her,” but he also disappeared without a trace.

The female student didn’t give up, refusing to believe she’d been deceived. She just assumed the man had unavoidable reasons, forcing him to leave her temporarily.

She couldn’t let go of the man nor wished to terminate their ”love’s crystal.”

So, she took a break from school, rented an apartment near the campus, and secretly gave birth to the child.

The female student was part of the first batch of students taught by He Yannian, for whom he had invested a great deal of effort.

Especially as she was a promising student with talent and good grades, only misguided by love and young mistakes. He Yannian couldn’t bear to see her give up her studies because of this.

By this time, the daughter born by the female student was about to turn one year old. She had once carried the child to find that man, only to be turned away.

After much turmoil, the female student finally understood that she had been deceived, her sincerity trampled upon.

He Yannian and Tian Huimin took pity on her and arranged an opportunity for her to study abroad.

The female student wanted to leave this heartbroken place, but there was no one to whom she could entrust the child.

She grew up in a blended family, nominally with two sets of parents, yet no one genuinely cared for her.

Given such elders, how could she trust them with her child?

Moreover, not to sound harsh, but even if the female student wished to entrust her daughter to her real mother, stepfather, and stepmother, they might not be willing to accept.

Ultimately, it was Tian Huimin who felt connected with the little girl and decided to adopt her.

”... Shiyu went to F-country to study fashion design and stayed there after graduating. I heard she got married and had children, so she must be doing well!”

Tian Huimin slowly spoke.

And the ”Shiyu” she spoke of was He Siyu’s biological mother, Qin Shiyu.

It is likely that He Siyu’s name came from this.

He Tiantian secretly thought to herself because the original name He Sitian was inspired by Tian Huimin’s surname ”Tian.”

This was He Yannian’s romantic gesture as an artist.

”I heard?”

He Tiantian caught the key point in her mother’s narrative: ”So, after Siyu’s mom went abroad, you never had direct contact with her again?”

Tian Huimin’s smile was faint, ”Not only I, but even your dad didn’t continue to keep in touch with Shiyu. It’s not that Shiyu is ungrateful or anything, but we didn’t want her to have too many ties with domestic matters!”

After all, being a mistress and having a child out of wedlock were not honorable things.

Though the mistakes were made in youthful ignorance, Qin Shiyu ultimately tasted the bitter consequences.

She regretted, and thus deserved an opportunity to start afresh!

Cutting off ties with the home country, sealing away the unpleasant past was a more rational choice for Qin Shiyu.

Furthermore, it was also beneficial for He Siyu.

If Qin Shiyu continued to associate with the He Family, there would come a day when He Siyu’s origins would be exposed.

Tian Huimin was not her real mother, yet she had raised her for twenty years.

In the hearts of Mr. and Mrs. He, they had long considered He Siyu as their own daughter.

They didn’t want their daughter to know about her background, and they were unwilling to have her face the fact that she was an illegitimate child. It was too cruel and could easily hurt Siyu!

Therefore, whether for Qin Shiyu herself or for He Siyu, it was best for everyone to become strangers, part ways and live well separately.

”Mom, you and dad are truly kind!”

He Tiantian looked into Tian Huimin’s eyes, feeling genuinely happy.

Her parents didn’t fall from grace, nor did they let her witness human ugliness once more, leaving He Tiantian feeling only comforted.

He Tiantian also felt a vague ”epiphany”—

No wonder Mr. and Mrs. He appeared to be normal people yet had a daughter like He Siyu who placed love above all else.

It turns out she inherited it from her real mother.

On the other hand, He Sitian had such upright values and a moral baseline thanks to her parents’ excellent genes.

”Oh my, what kindness or not, your dad cherishes talent, and as for me, I simply find Siyu lovable!”

Seeing her eldest daughter who knew Siyu wasn’t her real sister yet didn’t blame her parents for favoritism or harbor any resentment, but instead praised their kindness.

In her words, the eldest daughter carried respect and admiration for them, leaving Tian Huimin feeling more settled.

She gently caressed He Tiantian’s right hand and softly said, ”Having raised her all these years, we’ve also grown attached.”

”Siyu may not be my birth child, but both your dad and I treat her as our own. Sometimes, we even prioritize her over you and neglect you!”
