The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 1117: Chapter 423: My Husband Is a Supporting Male Character (Part 22)_2

”The world consciousness of this novel world has actually recognized me, but it’s somewhat unwilling, so it resorts to some less dangerous little tricks.”

Like a child having a tantrum.

He Tiantian’s intuition was sharp, and the recent ”accidents” indirectly confirmed her suspicion—the world consciousness had already conceded!

Student Xiao D thought about it carefully, ”Huh? That’s really true. So, your task is more than halfway complete?!”

For this ”antivirus task,” the system indeed had no clear restrictions.

But through He Tiantian’s explanation, Student Xiao D already understood the techniques for such tasks—

Old literary styles from over ten years ago no longer fit the aesthetic preferences of current readers.

If you want readers’ approval and rewards, you need to adjust the main plot—the female lead can have flaws, and even be a very distinctive Black Lotus, but she absolutely cannot be that revolting scheming bitch, green tea white lotus type.

Such an old plot might as well turn into an ”evil female supporting character” who rises to the top, becoming another style of ”female supporting character reverse” story.

This way, readers are satisfied, the novel can be revitalized, and He Tiantian, as the writer, will have completed the task successfully.

”Pretty much!”

He Tiantian said blandly, ”The world consciousness has already recognized me, it’s just that I haven’t really become the female lead yet!”

If she’s not the female lead, she won’t have the female lead’s halo.

So, He Tiantian still needs to strive hard to shape the character ”He Tian” into an even more captivating and enjoyable persona for the readers!

And now, what do the readers really want to see?

Not some love-brain-driven, true love above all else story, but a strong female lead who can truly pursue a career.

He Tiantian tightened the whip in her hand, her eyes deeply gazing at the vast and barren sands and grasslands.

Having stayed in West City for half a month, He Tiantian thoroughly managed the affairs in West City.

Through choosing the right path, and events like shooting the Hulu chiefs, Liu Sheng, Wang Kui, and their soldiers have already realized—

Their commander, though a young woman, has the qualities and ability to be a general.

Perhaps it can’t yet be certain if she can fight like the Great Generals of the He Family’s past generations, but she’s definitely not just a figurehead.

This Chief He is worthy of everyone’s expectations.

He Tiantian temporarily won over the hearts of her subordinates with her ability, and just at this moment, the severely injured He Jing led his troops back to West City.

”Tiantian, you, you—”

Seeing his precious daughter in heavy armor with a stern look, He Jing felt a mix of emotions.

There was heartache, surprise, reluctance, and hope...all intertwined.

In the end, He Jing sighed helplessly and acknowledged the fact that ”He Tian” would inherit the He Family’s legacy!

He had lost a leg, and his internal organs were severely injured.

Even if he managed to survive, he’d be a cripple, unable to lead troops into battle.

And the excellent eldest son He Tao...is still missing.

Perhaps dead, perhaps captured by the Hulu, or maybe gravely injured and despairingly waiting to die.

But in any case, He Tao could no longer continue to lead the He Family Army.

As for the second son—

It would be better to have ”He Tian” come to the Northwest.

The daughter has the ability, while the second son might not even survive the hardships of a thousand-mile march.

Moreover, there was another reason He Jing couldn’t speak out: the tolerance of the Royal Family and the court toward the He Family Army had reached its peak.

Aside from anything else, just look at the food supplies of recent years, which have been delayed for no reason.

The He Family has operated in the Northwest for more than a hundred years. Even without rebellious intentions, they can’t stop the Royal Family’s wariness.

Actually, even without this ”accident,” He Jing was considering finding a way out for the family.

The He Family is no longer suited to remain in the Northwest, and the Northwest Army shouldn’t forever bear the ”He” name mark.

Unless the He Family truly plans to rebel!

He Jing: ... Do they really think rebellion is so easy?

Without the right timing, people, and place, how can they change the dynasty with just a hundred thousand troops?

In your dreams!

Moreover, the He Family has been loyal for generations, bearing the evil name of a traitor is really unbearable.

He Tian appearing in the Northwest as the Grand Steward of the army opened a new perspective for He Jing.

Perhaps it’s time to hand over the military power.

For the He Family to withdraw from the Northwest and live leisurely in the Capital City as wealthy idlers.

After all, with a title and a daughter who continues to lead troops, the He Family won’t decline.

With ”He Tian” as a transition, let the He Family stay silent for twenty or thirty years.
